Nicky Burkhardt watched the clock move slowly, 1:30 am.

He should be back by now she thought to herself, she continued to watch the front door of hers and Truble's shared apartment, it was the safest thing for them both.

Worrying thoughts took over her crowded mind, She curled her body up on the couch, playing with some of her dark brunette hair that fell in front of her face.

A loud sound broke her out of her thoughts.

Bang

Bang

BANG

She stood up, rushing to the door before freezing, Trubel has a key.

She looked over to the key holder, seeing both sets of keys, she let out both an frustrated and worried sigh.

"Nicky, help" the pained voice of Terrance Rubel came from the other side of the door, she quickly unlocked the door.

She looked at the male, his hair was matted with blood, his face had a large cut on it, which dripped blood onto his clothes.

She brought his arm over her shoulder, she helped him get to couch while the male Grimm cursed under his breath, which Nicky surprising didn't comment on.

She was able to get the other onto the couch before she started inspecting the cut on his face, carefully so she didn't hurt him to much.

"How did this happen? Did you get into a fight? Did someone assault you?" Nicky asked desperately, she quickly walked to the kitchen, picking up a large amount of paper towels and wetting them all under the tap, the male Grimm sighed as he laid his head back.

"Not completely sure how it happened, no I didn't get into some fight, no I didn't get assaulted" he said over to the older, who just shook her head as she walked back to him, she started cleaning up the blood on his face.

The male Grimm flinched while the female cleaned out his cut, that both stayed quiet, both trying not to show their pain, except one was physical and the other was emotional.

Nicky let out a shallow sigh before she started speaking.

"You promised me you would be safe, did you even bring your sunglasses with you?" She asked, Trubel shook his head.

"I left them here, I guess someone woughed,saw me and attacked" Trubel guessed, Nicky sighed as she brought the male into a hug.

"Please don't do something like that again" she said softly Trubel looked up at her, tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry Nicky"
