John walked into the building still trying to calm down from what happened, Grimm was following behind like a lost puppy. The woman at the front desk, Joan Orlopsky, I think, looked up to see, a slightly stiff man walking in with an adorable girl following behind. Joan awed at the sight. "John, I didn't know you had a kid." John flinched and turned around seeing Grimm look up at him with big eyes, trying to act innocent. "or the heart for one." He heard Joan mumble. "Grimm! Go back to the car." Grimm looked up at him with teary eyes. Joan got up from her desk and walked up to the 'crying' girl. "John! Don't talk to her that way!" Grimm looked at Joan and hugged her. "Look at what you did! You made the poor girl cry!" John looked at Grimm to see her smirking at him. He glared at her and of coarse Joan sees. "Now why are you glaring at this sweet angel?! You should be ashamed of yourself."

Now if you can't tell, Joan is dark skinned and loves kids, John however, does not. You can practically see the smoke coming off him. You can tell what he's thinking 'If you didn't just help me get to work, I would kill you.' Grimm jumped behind Joan to protect herself. Don, a young police officer, got in between them before Joan could go all mother bear on John. "Calm down you two, we don't need to put someone in a body bag," Don looked at John and mumbled, "Not yet anyway." Joan crossed her arms and grunted angrily.

Don saw Grimm peeking around Joan and kneeled to her height. "Was John being mean to you?" He asked sweetly, Grimm Looked at him with big blue 'innocent' eyes and nodded, Don's heart melted. "You poor thing." Don put a hand on Grimm's head, making her smile. Everyone, except John, awed at how cute she looked. John was walking to his desk while everyone was occupied, grumbling about how he isn't the bad guy, it's Grimm.

After everyone went back to their jobs, Grimm walked to John with a small smile. "I think they like me." John groaned.
