Btw EX's name is Eric. Grian can change his size and his original size is 6,4 but prefers to stay small near the hermits.

Grian was crawling back through the window of his futuristic base. It was around 2:00am and he knew that everyone were already asleep. He silently flew in through the window. He was very tiered and wasn't in the mood for a conversation at all.

However, when he entered his futuristic cake, there was a surprise made out of three hermits.

Great.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???" Scar asked, worry laced in his voice.

"Grian, you missed a Sahara meeting!" Mumbo added.

"Yeah! That's Mumbo's job!" Iskall added even more, getting a laugh out of everyone. Mumbo playfully pushed him.

"Guys, I am thankful for you being worried for me but I said I won't be available today." Grian said in a tiered voice, "I am also not in the mood to communicate right now." After having to celebrate his children's 10th birthday was a lot of work. He and Ex were exhausted and he offered Grian to stay at their house, bu he had to refuse.

Grian headed to his bed when he heard Mumbo saying something to him.

"Grian, you've been disappearing lately and you are getting us worried"

"Guys. can you just go please. Or I can set a bed for you. I really appreciate the fact that you are worried for me but honestly I am very tiered now."

"how could you be tiered if you did nothing?" Iskall asked. It was reasonable for him to say that, no changes to his base, the shopping district or Hermit Vill.

"Just because I didn't work on my main project doesn't mean I wasted my time doing nothing Iskall." Grian replied. His eyelids felt very heavy at this point and he wasn't ready for any more conversations. He plopped down onto his bed and instantly falling asleep.

"Iskall, I think he is actually exhausted." Scar said, examining Grian, "he never fell asleep tins quickly."

"Maybe he worked on some side projects and some planning on Sahara?" Mumbo asked, tripping over himself and almost landing on the sleeping gremlin but luckily Iskall and Mumbo caught him.

"Mumbo! You spoon!" They both hissed at him.

"Look, I don't think he did any plans today but he still is very tired." Iskall analysed.

"We should ask about it tomorrow. From now, I'm also very tired." Scar added.

The three of them flew out of the window (Mumbo needing some help).

Mumbo and Xisuma where fighting off mobs when the skeleton shot Mumbo right in the leg. He fell to the ground and X needed now to make sure that Mumbo doesn't die and fighting off the mobs.

'please someone skip the night. Please let Bdubs be online.'

X thought to himself. Suddenly, the moon was gone and the mobs started to burn. Mumbo was still on the floor, holding hid leg and hissing with pain.

Finally, all the mobs were gone and Xisuma could now properly take care of Mumbo's wound. and, of course, (because I may or may not need a plot) he doesn't have any healing supplies. So, the next best option was to get back to the Mumball. Mumbo could not fly with a leg this damaged so they had to walk in the direction they thought was of the magnificent ball.

Soon, they arrived at a cottage that wasn't particularly small but it wasn't bigger than some of the starter bases of the hermits. (the picture below is how the house looked. Sorry if you don't see the picture)

They knocked on the door in hopes that someone would answer and give them help.

However, what they didn't expect was for two children to appear in the door frame. They were twins, X could see that easily. But they were not identical; one had blue eyes and white hair while wearing a blue jumper with a hood and grey sports pants. The other, (which was a girl judging by the cloths) had red eyes with sandy blonde hair. She wore a crimson red shirt with snowy white sports pants. On their backs lay a pair of beautiful wings. The one with white hair had black wings and some devil horns growing on his head and the girl had cat ears and a white wings. (this is how I imagined how they looked don't ask about the posture, I made a picture on a website and re-drew it) The girl with blonde hair also had a flower crown.

"Are your parents home?" Xisuma asked.

"Who are you?" the twins asked, their voices colliding into one, "What are you doing here?" They asked it not in a mean matter, but more in a curious one, like a child.

"I am the owner of this server and I'm really sorry to bother you but do you have any healing supplies?" Xisuma asked, he could feel Mumbo getting heavier. The kids looked at Mumbo (who was about to faint) and then their eyes widened when they saw the pool of blood forming underneath him.

"Come in, Ria can you please grab the bandages?" The girl was off already while the boy stayed to help X carry Mumbo. By the time they were in the living room, the girl (Ria?) came with some bandages.

"Do you have any healing potions?" Mumbo asked them in a very much tiered voice.

"If you want the arrow to grow into your leg, then yes." The boy said. His sister continued to talk as they both bandaged Mumbo's leg. "Aren's and my parents went away this morning. We won't be able to heal your leg fully because of that." Her voice was soft but pretty loud, in a pleasant way of course. X hummed in response.

"How old are you?" Mumbo asked when the boy Aren was finished with his leg.

"We are both 10." He simply answered, "But I'm 10 minutes older." his sister mocked him. X laughed to himself, it was just like him and EX when they were young. Mumbo was already asleep on the couch and the kids went away to get something. They came back a few minutes later with two blankets they placed one over Mumbo, who lay sung, and one two X, to his surprise.

"why are you giving this to-"He was cut off by the kids.

"You will probably have to stay here for a while until our parents come home."

~le time skip 1 day because I need a chapter out soon or I will get eaten alive~

PoV: Mumbo

I woke up to the sound of chattering in he kitchen. The last thing I remember was that I fell asleep on the couch in the cottage. The chattering got louder and I heard a familiar voice of a the girl that helped me. I think her name was Ria?

"Dads, he's waking up!" She said. The smell of eggs and bacon filled my nostrils and I could feel my stomach wanting to jus get out and eat anything that is edible. There was another voice, more familiar this time.

"wake up sleepy head, it's time for breakfast." My eyes fully open now to see the seen of a very un happy Xisuma and EX and a very innocent looking Grian handing me a tray with a plate of bacon and eggs. I thanked him and then a question appeared in my mind.

"Grian, how did you find us? How is EX still here and how do you know these kids?" Grian sat down on the couch and examined my leg. He slowly unwrapped the bandages and something seemed off. A glow emitted from his hand and the arrow was gone, leaving only a small scar behind.

"Mumbo, firstly, eat. You barely do that. Second, this is my home, I live here. These are my kids and that" he gestures at EX, "is my husband Eric." My mouth dropped onto the floor. I did not expect that sort of answer.

"Your telling me, that you had kids and a house, AND YOU DIDN'T BURN ANY OF THOSE TWO DOWN?????" I asked jokingly. Everyone laughed.

"Well, I did manage to do that for 10 years so, yeah."

"10 years???"

"Well, duh. We are both 10." Aren stated.

"10 and 10 minutes." Ria corrected him in 'as a matter of fact' voice.

"And 10 minutes" Aren repeated in defeat. He was at least a head shorter than here so it would be easy to assume she was older.

"So, can i call you uncle X now?" I said in a teasing matter. X blushed mad, which made everyone laugh, "How long were you together?"

"Yesterday just celebrated our 10 year anniversary!" EX said with a beaming smile. He came up to Gri and kissed him on the cheek. Now it was clear why Grian looked off. Ex is at least 6,4 and him being able to kiss Gri like that without being in need to bend...

"Why are you so tall?!" I asked. I was really worried that he was going to be taller than me and quickly stood up. I stumbled and Ria caught me.

"Dad told us that you were a spoon." One more thing that will hunt me at night. We stood back to back with Grian and we were the same hight!

"w-h-wha-how??" I managed to blurt out.

"I can change my size, I prefer to stay smaller though because it is easier to fly think that."

We talked for a few more hours, Grian and Ex venting out a little bit. Explaining how they meat almost 20 years ago in the Watcher training facility, how they started dating at the age f 15 and how they got here in general.

"We will not get back to hermitcraft today will we?" X asked.

"Not a chance." Everyone replied simultaneously.
