"Oh shut up woman, who do you think you are?" Shawn says irritated at her stupendous behaviour.

"You aren't understanding my situation here" she yells back at him through the phone.

"Of course I'm not I wasn't there, I could have but your daddy dear slapped me and it's still burning" he complains.

"Well you called for, I told you not to come" she shrugs as she stuffs her belongings into a bag.

"Don't pack!" He screams at her through the phone.

"How in the world...oh you creep get away from the window" she giggles and a faint laugh is heard from the other side.

"But the real question is why the hell do you want to run away?" He questions.

"My parents just revealed that my brother didn't drown but killed himself from the torture they were giving him" she chuckles.

"Woah wait as in Hugh Gray suicided?" He asks her shocked.

"I know right who would have known?" She shakes her head.

"I think I'll consider it" he shrugs.

"Oh my god thank you Mendes!" She squeals, she cuts the call as she slowly slides the window open and closes it, she shuts her eyes for a second before sliding down into Neil's garden, she softly knocks on the door to reveal a shirtless Neil.

"Ew wear a shirt Neil" she scoffs as she enters into his house.

"What the hell is going on?" Neil asks confused as shawn walks down the stairs, he brings along with him a shirt for his friend to put on, Neil widens his eyes completely perplexed.

"We have a run away princess tonight" Shawn informs pointing at Tessa.

"Princess my ass" Neil scoffs and Tessa gives him a stern glare before pulling Neil out of the house.

"Hey warrior! Calm your tits we'll go okay?" Neil pulls his hand away from Tessa's grip as he shuts the door.

Shawn honks the car before the headlights turn on, she gives one last look to the house where she practical spent all other life in and sighs.

"Are you sure you want to do this Tessa?" Neil asks sleepily as he opens the front seat door.

"A hundred percent" Tessa tells him as she settles down in the front seat and gives Neil a wide grin. 

"Bitch" Neil mumbles and the lights in Tessa's house turns on, she could feel it, parents were arguing they couldn't find out where Tessa was.

"Let's go now!" Tessa groans, before midnight had fallen the girl with raven black hair was sound asleep.

Sleep was an escape into a virtual world, where everything turn into reality. She'd love to sleep she could bring her brother back and most importantly she could smile.

"Yo Tessa" Neil vigorously shakes Tessa to wake the sleeping beauty and Shawn giggles at the shock from which Tessa springs open.

"What happened?!" She asks confused.

"We're dropping you off at a friend's home we really don't know where to take you well go to a nearby town and make arrangements, stay low" Shawn says, the last two words sounding pretty much like an order.

"Thank you" she smiles, before hopping off the, car she pecks Shawn on his cheek and quickly walks inside a house Shawn had directed to.

Neil widens his eyes and looks at Shawn with disbelief he hops onto the front seat and gives Shawn a are-you-going-to-tell-me look before asking him.

"What have I missed?" Neil laughs.

"She's sleepy, someone who is sleepy is equivalent to someone who is drunk so just shrug that shit off" Shawn tells Neil.

"So which town do you want to drop her off at?"

"Why do I think I brought you along my man, I'm going to put all her burden on you it's your decision to make" he smacks Neil on his back and faintly hears Neil mumble 'arse'

"Finally" Shawn says after seven hours of looking for a place for Tessa to stay.

"Oh shut that cake hole, I did everything while you sat there eating muffins you moron" Neil pushes him, they enter their friends house laughing, but that didn't last for long.

"Mr and Mrs Gray" Shawn akwardly smiles and Tessa comes out from their shadow and mouths a 'sorry' Neil shakes his head with disbelief.

"You are under arrest for kidnapping an under age girl" the Inspector announces from behind.

"They didn't kidnap me, I came here-"

"Keep quiet Tessa" her mom asks her to shut her mouth, not later Shawn and Neil along with their friend who let Tessa stay are dragged to the police station.

The car ride back home for Tessa was pretty much nothing but silence, she had began enjoying what it had to offer, peace.

"That's what happens to those who are bad Tessa, don't choose that path" her dad warns her, without making any further argument Tessa grabs her car keys and speeds off.

"Is Mr Michael Martin here?" She investigates as she enters the police station.

"And you are?" The constable asks.

"Tessa Gray" she informs.

"Hold up a minute, I'll let him know" he says before vanishing into a room. "You can meet him now!"

"Inspector Martin, I need you to wave off the complaint in my name for Mendes, Neil Schnapp and Benjamin Moore" she makes herself clear.

"But you didn't file it"

"It's about me, my kidnapping when I say I wasn't kidnapped whom do you listen to? Do you want to hear the law from me inspector?" She states out of agony.

"Release cell 4,5 and 6" Michael orders irritated, Tessa signs a paper and thanks him.

"Tessa?" Neil asks as he comes out from the cell he was kept in, next Benjamin and lastly Shawn. He was mostly unrecognisable, he was beaten up pretty bad by the police men and Tessa stares at him.

"They did this to you?" She asks sadly placing a hand on his face, he slaps her hand out of his face barging out of the station, he sits in Tessa's car and she drives them back home.
