~Author's Note~

In, "Season 17, Episode 2: The Center Won't Hold" at the end of the episode Teddy and Owen have a discussion in the parking lot of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Teddy, again tries to apologize to Owen but he didn't want to, he walks away from her gets in his car and leaves her in the parking lot, alone. That is what this one-shot is about. This is written in No one's POV. Hope you enjoy!

(No one's POV)

Teddy and Owen just look at each other.

"Owen, I'm so sorry. I love you. Tom was just a friend".

Owen scoffed and looked at her, "Oh, really. Well, it didn't seem like he was just a friend, you don't hear a lot of friends doing that".

"Owen, I...", Teddy started again, but got stroke down again. 

"I know. I have listened to that phone call, over a 100 times and you don't say, "I love Owen. You just said that are marrying me. Like you thought that I was another obligation to you. Well, at least I know where I stand with you", Owen hissed back at her, angrily. 

Teddy sighed, she couldn't believe they were having this conversation. Like she couldn't believe that Owen didn't understand that it was only one time and it didn't mean anything. She just wished that she could help him understand.

"Owen, he didn't mean anything. I'm sorry", She said. 

"He didn't mean anything?! If he didn't mean anything, why did you do it"? Owen answered back.

"I don't know what to say, Owen" Teddy said. "And, I know whatever isn't going to be good enough for you. So, do you think that maybe you could forgive me and just remember that I meant what I said".

Owen just looked at her, "No, Teddy. I can't forgive you".

Owen turned around and walked away from her. Got into his car and drove off, leaving Teddy tearfully in the parking lot.
