Avenir's POV

I walk to school right away after my daily morning routine. Somehow, I felt a heavy feeling. Suddenly, the rain poured down. I pulled out my umbrella from my bag and opened it. I was walking in the rain. The droplets were music to my ears. I slowly make my way to school.

Once I made it there, I closed my umbrella and head to my locker quickly. I stuffed my umbrella in and got my notebooks for the classes I'm having today.

"Hey Ave." A voice said.

I slowly closed my locker. Then turn my head to where the voice came from. My eyes widened.

"Got your letter.." He said.

I slap his arm.

"Where were you yesterday? I was worried sick!."

"I got an emergency call from my grandma about Reyniel, so that's why I wasn't here or able to answer your calling." He said.

I sighed and stomp away.

"Ave! AVE WAIT!." He called out for me.

I walked faster and head into class.

"Ave!." He yelled.

I sat on my chair right away and he sighed. He goes to his seat.

"Why so stubborn?." A voice beside me cooed.

"Shut up." I whined and put my head on the desk.

"Aww come on Avenir, you're lucky you're the only girl who Genesis chases." Violet said.

"Cut it out. I don't want to hear it." I said.

The thunder clapped and lightning came. The power went out.

I raise my head from the desk. It was dark.

"Oh great, a power outage." I rolled my eyes.

Someone grabbed my hand.

"Hey let go of me!." I yelled as I stood up.

"Avenir?." My classmates sounds.

"Let go of me!." I kick and actually hit a person.

There was a clash of chairs. Lightning and thunder were clashing together.

The, the lights were on. I open my eyes and saw Genesis on the ground with the chairs laying to the side. I gasped. Renz helps him up. Genesis looks at me with anger.

"Genesis.." Cathy approached him.

"What happened?." My classmates start to mumble.

I backed away.

"Avenir, Are you okay?." Violet asked trying to comfort me.

"No, I'm not okay!." I ran out.

"Avenir!."

I ran through the halls dodging teachers that were roaming around. I had no choice. The cafeteria was occupied by a teacher meeting. The halls are merely filled with teachers from other schools. The rooftop was closed. I had no choice but just to run to the school garden. I ran there and sat behind a tree. Yes, it was raining, since the tree wasn't shielded with the roof.

I sat there with nothing but my clothing and myself.

"I don't understand... Why did he disappear so quick that day?." I thought.

Then a bright light was shown. A silhouette was in the middle of it.

"Come with me and you'll be safe. My Avenir." the voice said.

It was either stay here and get sick or come with this person who knows me and be warm. So I run to the silhouette.

A flash of light came. I was hugged. I looked up and saw a red haired man with an eyepatch. He released me from the hug.

"W-Who are you?." I asked shivering.

He smiled. He snapped his fingers and clothing was presented infront of me.

"Go wash yourself up."He said.

" But--. "

" I'll explain later. I promise. "He said.

I nodded and saw a door labeled, 'Bathroom' I went in and took a bath.

Timeskip to After Shower

After a few hair brushes, I wore the outfit he gave me. It was a purple knee high dress with black boots. I head out and see him drinking tea. He notices me and stands up.

"You look beautiful darling." He said in a slight British yet Scottish accent. I don't know.

"Well, sit down and I'll give you something to drink." He said sitting back down.

I nodded and sat at the couch next to him. He handed me hot cocoa and placed biscuits infront of me.

"Here. I know you like these." he said.

"How'd you know?." I asked.

"Because ---."

"Ugh! I'm back. School was canceled and---Avenir?." I turn around and I quickly stood up.

"Genesis .."

"I see you came at the right time my boy." He said.

"Ave. Thank goodness." Genesis hugged me.

I pulled away.

"Wait, Who are you? Or should I say, What are you?." I asked looking at both of them.

"Avenir,Meet your father, Aeros the God of Fire." Genesis said happily.

I backed up. I looked at the red head.

"You're my father?." I pointed at him.

"It's a very long story my dear." Aeros said.

"But, how?! You were said to be dead or banished!."

"It's a much long story.." He said.

Tears started to prick then fall.

"My Avenir, I know it's all sudden and everything is confusing in some way, but I'm here now. I'm finally here to prove that I'm the fag her you wish I could be." He said opening his arms wide.

I run and hug him.

"I thought you were gone.." I said as a few tears fell out.

"That ambush was nothing, it didn't even hurt me. It was just a flight." He said chuckling while letting me go.

"But look at you! You're a lady! Have you found anyone to love ey?." My father asked.

I take a glance at Genesis then back at him.

"Father, I don't think we need to discuss that. Anyways, I need to know your backgrounds before I can really trust you. You know, for precautions." I said.

"I swear I won't hurt you. I have a memory when you were just a wee baby." He said as he pulled out a locket from his pocket.

He placed the locket at the middle of the coffee table and a hologram of my father, a lady, a boy and a baby was seen.

"That's me." Genesis pointed out at the little boy.

"Are we--?."

"No we aren't siblings. I knew your mom and I worked along her side before. Plus, it'll be weird if we are siblings because I kissed you." He said.

"True." I said nodding.

"So, You have an admiration for him?." Father asked.

"Let's say 20/50."I said.

"Aww come on Goddess, you just had to lie?." Genesis said with his pouty face.

"Fine, 35/50." I said.

"Aww, it'll develop." Fsther cooed.

"It will not develop that far Father." I said raising an eyebrow.

"Let say, Genesis and Avenir sitting on a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes friendship second is marriage then a baby in a carriage!." Father yelled.

My face turned pink.

"Father, You've embarrassed me in the first 2 minutes we meet."I said.

" Sorry dear, I just love that commercial song. "Father said.

" What kind of commercial would bring that song up?. "Genesis asked.

" I don't know but it's weird. "I said.

" It's not weird, it's the truth!. "Father yelled yet again.

" Anyways, it's time you meet the rest of us. "
