Gregor's POV

I'm standing in the back of a huge cavern and in the middle I see Boots satnding in the middle laughing away. I'm about to run to her and gather her in my arms but a rat comes up behind her. He looks sorta like Crookedtail did. He grabs Boots and that is when i notice the giant alter. He places her on the alter and takes a knife from the alter and plunges it into Boots's body.

I wake up screaming. The others look at me with worry written on their faces. I break down and start crying. Luxa gathers me into her arms and tries to comfort me. But i pull away and start packing. Lizzie asks what I am doing and tell her that I am packing and that everyone should start too. Dad spins me around and grabs my shoulders and asks what's wrong. So I tell him about my dream while the others quietly listen. Luxa is the first to speak. "We will not let that happen we will get to her before that happens." Dad agreed with her but Mom and Lizzie burst into tears and are trying to comfort each other. Soon everyone starts packing to distract themselves.

We start again, I explained the what the cavern looks like and he had an idea of where that is and so did Luxa. Apparently she had found it when she lived with the mice.

We are half way there when we stop for the night. Luxa starts a fire while Mom distracts herself by cooking dinner. When she is done we are all eating dinner around the fire. I ask Luxa how much longer until we are there. When she says that we are halfway there I groan since I wanted to be there today not tomorrow.

In the morning I'm up at the crack of dawn and so I start packing and when I am done I wake the others. they groan in tiredness. When they see that I packed everything they ask what is for breakfast so I hand them one  granola bar each. Ripred lets sleep and gently places her on his back.

When we get near the cavern we notice a large group of sick rats. We can't go in that way we will have to get in through some back way that Ripred knows about. We crawl through a cramped tunnel and when we get to the cavern we find a rat sharpening the knives that are hanging from the side of the alter.
