It has been 6 years since I have muttered the words "Fly You High" and the memories have never left me. I have nightmares almost every night and never stop thinking of my life down there. Life up here has been miserable. I think about my friends down there and I have never stopped thinking about... "Luxa..." I said out loud. I just woke up from a nightmare about Ares... Ares was my bond who was killed by "The Bane" or Pearlpelt a 12 foot tall snow white rat that I the "Warrior" killed, I have never forgot that moment when I grasped his claw for my first time and bonded my life to his, and the time when he was decapitated by the Bane. I looked at My clock in my "room" if you could call it that it is more like a closet it read 2:37 Am. I have gotten used to waking from a nightmare at around this time, and to shake these off I go jogging. I sat up and got in sweatpants and a sweatshirt and took one last look at the Picture of Luxa and I dancing at Hazard's Birthday. Just then I stood up and and crept out the door of my family's apartment without waking anyone, Lizzie and I got our parents to not move to Virginia because I could not be any farther away from the Underland. Once I got out of the apartment complex I started running and did not stop until I found my way to Central Park, I just stood there until I saw the stone slab move open, once I person that opened it I was shocked... It was Luxa. I was about to run and embrace her then the thoughts came to my mind that, "what if she forgot about me" what if she did not recognize me" so I stopped myself from it. I also remembered that my College Grad was tomorrow and my parents would not want me to miss it. so I just watched her until she slipped back down into the darkness below. After that I Jogged back home and my watch read 6:45 am I WAS GONE FOR 4 HOURS. I just hoped my Mom was not waiting inside. As I opened the door and stepped inside my mom was there staring at me. "GREGOR WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?" she yelled at me waking Lizzie, Boots now called Maggie, and my Dad, but not my Grandmother because she passed away 3 years ago. "I had a Nightmare again and went for a jog" I replied. "YOU SHOULD H--" my dad cut he off saying "Grace you do not have to get all mad" he said calmly "Gregor... im sorry for getting mad, just next time please leave a note" she said quietly "ok... I will."

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up to my 9 year old sister Maggie jumping on my bed "Ugh" I moaned "What time is it" I said in a sleepy voice "9:30! and it's your grad day!" Maggie exclaimed. I slowly got out of bed and got changed, before I left my room I stuffed the picture of me and Luxa in my pocket. As I stepped out of my room I smelled the biggest breakfast my mom has ever made. after we finished we went to the college for the grad ceremony. After the long boring ceremony we went home and found a HUGE feast awaiting them, it was made by Mrs.Cormaci. During dinner my dad said 'Gregor your mother and i need to speak with you and Mrs.Cormaci after dinner". When the large dinner was over Gregor's mom told Lizzie and Maggie to go into their room so they could talk. His mom told Gregor and Mrs.Cormaci to sit so they did. My dad started to talk "Gregor... when I was doing laundry about one month ago and I found a letter lodged in the grate..." as my dad pulled a scroll out of his pocket and handed it to me I said as I stared at it "1 MONTH?!?!? WHY DID YOU WAIT SO LONG?!?!" I Yelled. I could see Lizzie and Maggie peeking out the door of their room with my echolocation. "Gregor we did not want you to have any distractions as it was so close it grad" my mother replied "I understand" I took a look at the letter and read it out loud.

"Gregor I would first like to say that all of the Underland has greatly missed you and I would like you to come back as a surprise for Queen Luxa's 19th Birthday. She has greatly missed you the most out of all of us and she has been depressed since you left. If you would like to come the date is in one month and 9 days. Tell No one I, Vikus, Ripred, and Howard are the only ones who know. I have arranged for a bat to pick you up on that date at 4 am your time.

I sighed in relief and said "2 days... and mom I would like to say that once I am down there there is nothing that will make me come back for a long time without her." "I know honey" she sniffles. "Son here is 75$ go get Luxa a gift and one thing you come back for birthdays and Christmas okay?" "Yes I understand"

I headed to the jewelry store across from Central Park and got Luxa her gift it was a gold necklace with a light blue fish shaped jewel on it. Which It cost much more than 75 Dollars but I did not care.
