"you're not alone, Scott,"

Kurt, Jean and Scott were on the plane. They tried to escape but the helicopter had some sort of shield up hat stopped them from using their powers.

"It should've been me," Scott sobbed. "He was the one that was going to do something with his life. He was always the one."

"That's not how he felt," Jean spoke. "He felt that you were the one that was going to do something special with your life, that you were going to make a difference to the world. Maybe even change it,"

"How do you know what he felt?" Scott asked.

"I know how everyone feels," Jean looked off to the side.

"I've never felt more alone," Scott spoke.

"You're not. You have her." Jean looked at Natalie who was lying down, unconscious. Scott rested his hand on Natalie's, admiring the ring on her left hand.

"She loved him more than anything. The way she looked at him, it's the type of look that everyone wants. He was her world. And she was his," Scott smiled slightly.

"More than you know," Jean placed a hand on Scott's. He took a breath and leant back.

"Hold me in the light of God," Kurt prayed quietly. "Protect me from Danger. Save me by your command. Listen to my Prayer. And keep me safe."

Natalie was awoken by a loud yell, she opened her eyes, to only realise that what happened wasn't a dream. Peter quickly stood up, frightened by Hank's blue form. "What's wrong with you? Is that going to happen to all of us?"

Natalie sat up to only hold her knees up and leant her head on them.

Hank groaned. "No, I just left my meds in the house," Hank stood up, as well as Raven and Moira.

"What happened? Where are we?" Moira called out.

Natalie felt a tear escape her eye. She couldn't care less where they were right now.

"Hey!" Raven called out.

"Hello, Mystique," Stryker replied.

"Major Stryker," Raven replied.

"Colonel Stryker," He corrected. "And I wouldn't get too close to those walls. It might create some discomfort,"

"I'm Moira MacTaggart, I'm a Senior Officer for the CIA," Moira informed.

"I know who you are, Agent MacTaggart," Stryker informed.

"You cannot keep me here in this – "

"Actually, I can. The Psychic event just destroyed every nuke. That event started exactly where we found you. At the home of the world's most powerful psychic. So, you're going to tell me, where is Charles Xavier?"

"It's not him you should be worried about. There's someone else, someone more powerful."

"If you let us out of here, we can help you," Raven spoke.

"Do you really expect me to believe that? You can put on any face you want, but I know who you are, what you are," Stryker left.

"Hey, Moira, um. What did you mean that there was someone more powerful than Charles?" Hank asked.

Moira took a breath and told the rest about The Very First Mutant.

•••

"Did you know him? Magneto?" Peter asked Raven.

"I used too. Not so sure anymore," Raven replied. Natalie looked up at them. Hank crouched down.

"You okay?" He asked quietly, she looked at him. She put a hand on his face, his fur was very soft.

"Right now, I have to be." Natalie sighed. He smiled and helped her up and gave her a hug.

"What was he like? Was he what they say he was? Was he the – bad guy? – "Peter asked.

"No. Well yeah." Raven said.

"Why do you care so much? Did you see a speech on TV or something?" Natalie interrupted, breaking the hug with Hank. Peter and Raven looked back at her.

"Yeah. But um – "Peter cleared his throat. "He's my father,"

"What?" Raven looked shocked.

"Him and my Ma, they did – "Peter demonstrated with his fingers.

"Yeah, I know," Raven cut in.

"Are you sure?" Natalie asked.

"Yeah, yeah, he left my Ma before I was born. I met him 10 years back, you know, with you," He looked at Natalie. "But I didn't know then. But by the time I figured it out, it was too late. Then I saw him on TV again, and I came to the house to find him, but by the time I got there." He sighed. "Late again. You know for a guy who moves as fast as me, I always seem to be too late."

"Let's hope not this time," Raven sighed.

"Hear me, inhabitants of this world. This is a message, to every man, woman and mutant. You have lost your way. But I have returned. The day of reckoning is here. All your buildings. All your towers and temples. Will fall. And the dawn of a new age will rise. For there is nothing you can do to stop it. This message is for one reason alone. To the strongest among you. For those with the greatest power - protect those without." Charles spoke in the worlds minds.

•••

"How is Charles doing that without Cerebro?" Hank asked.

"I know that voice," Stryker came back. "That was Charles Xavier, what's going on?"

"We don't know!" Natalie yelled out.

"We don't know bro!" Peter yelled.

A loud alarm went off, and the sound of gunshots coming from outside the walls. All of the mutants started panicking. The room above them, where Stryker was, all the guards and operators were killed, causing the group to gasp and move out of sight.

Kurt suddenly appeared.

"Kurt?" Natalie asked with a confused look. He tried to speak with them.

"Ge – Fro – Do –"He spoke. The intercom was broken.

"What?" They called out.

"Get – From – Door!" He started gesturing his hands at the door and moving them away.

"Get away from the door," Natalie yelled, they all did. Then suddenly the door was blasted by a red laser. The smoke cleared and Jean and Scott appeared.

"Scott!" Natalie spoke with relief.

"Nat!" He ran up to her and hugged her, Natalie stood in shock before hugging him back.

"We know where the professor is," Jean spoke. Scott broke the hug and they looked at Jean.

"I think we might have a way out of here," Scott looked at Natalie.

"You've been busy," She looked at him.

"We uh, had a little help," Scott sighed.

Implying that they found Logan.

"Let's go," Scott said. They all went jogging after them. Kurt re-appeared.

"Jesus!" Peter exclaimed.

"Sorry!" Kurt apologised in his German accent. They all reached a room and there stood a large jet. And next to them. Flight Suits.

"Hey, Hank, you think you can fly this thing?" Raven asked.

"Yeah, I can figure it out," He sighed.

"Hey guys," Scott gestured to the flight suits. Natalie looked at Hank and smiled.

"You got your war plane. Let's go to war." Raven looked at Hank.

Natalie grabbed one and handed them down to everyone. Natalie went to remove her clothes but she felt something in her pocket. She held it in her view. It was Alex's ring. Her heart sank and she held it close. She then continued to put on her suit and started to walk onto the plane.

"Natalie?" Scott spoke softly behind her. She turned around. "I know, we probably don't have a lot of time to talk, but I just want to let you know. You're not alone in this." Scott looked at her. Natalie smiled and walked over to him and hugged him.
