With Marie
As Marie and Jackson walked back to the house, Jackson began talking about his boyfriend, Simon, all about him too, what he smells like, his personality, his career as the owner of a flower shop called Simon's flowers, his habits, every little detail of him. "I'll tell you, you have to meet him in person tho, uh when are you free?"
Jackson asked fiddling with a picture of a brown haired, brown eyed, squirrel shifter. " the 17th, my parents are making me pick someone from the crowd if I don't like the other two men from my sucky category of princes." Marie said glaring at the ground. "Damn that sucks say do you have someone in mind that doesn't live here." Jackson asked tilting his head his tail swishing from side to side. Marie hesitated lifting her head to look at him.
Should she talk about the witch and how she lingered in her mind unlike everyone else? She figured why not. "Well there is one person and I think she does live here but I just met her like today and she probably cassed a spell on me or something but she so enchanting and pretty and...oh goodness I'm getting carried away she's probably straight." Marie said dropping her head again to look at the soft grass. "Wait you said witch was it the dark haired girl we saw sleeping on the cheery blossom tree?!" He asked with eagerness. Marie nodded with confusion as he started laughing.
"No honey that right there was a homosexual you could see it in the stand and the way she looked, but I guess you were to busy staring at her tiddies!" He chuckled, as Marie's head lifted as soon as it dropped, her cheeks dusted a vibrant red. "I-I wasn't I swear I was looking at her face!" Marie lied, she knew what she was looking at but couldn't face the truth... not yet anyway.
"Sure okay I 'believe' you. But seriously it's love if she appears more then five times in your mind, if you have a hard time getting her out of your mind too, and if you indeed are in love, it may get hard to focus on other things and one way to get things done is too spend more time with her hang out with her do whatever with her and only her alright?" Jackson asked, Marie nodded again, dropping her head to see hard concrete beneath her feet.
"Oh! Now would you look at that we're here!" Jackson said looking at the big bage castle. Before dragging Marie inside, to confront her parents. Inside the living room of the castle stood Queen Elizabeth checking her watch she stared at it with her piercing green eyes a scowl embedded on her face, tapping her feet impatiently across the pearl floor, 6:30, the watch read, beside her was the king, her husband, king Aaron he was on his phone typing away on it a dull expression on his face. All of a sudden the door opened to the living room, Marie and Jackson walked through the door their hair littered with light pink cherry blossoms.
"Sorry we're late, but I will tell you now that he's not the one for me let the next prince come forth." Marie said confidently, looking into her mother's green eyes. The Queen nodded and told her husband to get the next one. in which he nodded to, rolling his eyes, but dialing a number and calling them walking off so they couldn't here the conversation.
The Queen turned back to the two and smiled. "Thank you Jackson for being here but you have to leave now, please visit." She said in a soft caring voice. "Marie you are now done for today, you may do whatever you please, your next suitor will be here tomorrow." She said, shifting her attention to Marie who had just pulled out her phone. She looked up and nodded walking to her room.
Once Marie was in her room, she walked to the closet and pulled out some pajamas and hurried to the bathroom, before taking a long well needed shower. Once she got out of the shower it was about 8:50, she had been in the shower for more then 2 hours. Marie shrugged it off and contemplated going to bed early, but she didn't really feel tired, and she needed to be up early to see her again.
Her mind flashed to Zora once more when they first met just this morning, That serum she gave her. She reached into her hand bag and found the vial of blue liquid, slightly glowing in the dark castle. She walked back to her room, sat on the bed just incase it knocks her out like a light, unbuttoned the top, truth be told it did smell like blue cotton candy. Marie took a swig of it and almost immediately felt drowsy. Marie yawned and fell back into the covers, her last thought was Zora.
