Catherine Salvador turned to look at the other lady who had joined her in the makeup studio.
"Hi! "The lady, a beautiful girl with the wine curly hair that reaches to her elbow greeted smiling showing her set of white teeth .

Cathy eyebrows came together in confusion. She has never seen her before and moreover this wasn't a place anyone can just barged in.

"Excuse me?? "She asked looking oddly at her.

"I will be a regular VIP here so we shall be meeting often. I am Babrina Steele "the young Lady who should be in her late twenties said bringing out her hand for a handshake.

Cathy frown only deepened as she ignore the well manicured  slender hands.

"You must be mistaken miss or whatever you call your self. No one join me while I am been attended to. I make the rules here. "She said trying not to show her anger in front of the two make up artist in the room with them.

Babrina only smile as she held back her hand slowly and turn to stare at the large mirror looking at her reflection.

"Rules are meant to be broken anyway. "She said in a low tone still smiling and how that hurt Cathy.

Who the hell is She?

"Rose may I have your attention on my pretty face. "Babrina said cutting her short as she wave at the other make-up artist behind Cathy.

Cathy mouth opened. No one has ever interrupt her and what thy hell, she knowS Rose??

"Rose, make me the prettiest woman on earth. I want the manager to notice me tonight. "

"Yes ma. "Rose curtsies as she left Cathy's back to go to her.

"I wonder Why I am so pretty. "She said grinning at her look in the mirror.
"Maybe God has a reason for making me into this remarkable person I am today. "She continued and how those words rang a huge bell In Cathy's ears.

She hate disgusting bitches like her! What is happening in a room that has never happened before?. Does this Lady knows who she is? Does this Lady knows She's the most popular actress every company is thriving to cast?? Does she know She's dating one of the richest manager in the film industry and have everyone at her feet? Cathy's gave a low laugh as she look at the so called beauty getting her face make up by Rose. she really doesn't know who she is.

"Rose, you need to get back here!!" She commanded even though she knew Rose was done with her make up.

"I heard Arthur's dead... " Babrina began as she titled her neck in a way Cathy found provocative.

Cathy heart stopped for a minute as she look at her with shock. It's been long since Arthur was gone and everyone had seems to forget all about him. The murderer was found dead too and everything seems to have subside. So Why was this bitch bringing that up?

"The innocent person was found guilty of murder and the evil one still remain in position. "

Cathy stood up immediately as she swallowed visibly shaking.

"I see you dont know why you are. "And biting her lower red gloss lip, she went for the French door trying not to show how weak she has become in just some seconds.

"I know the murderer who killed him. "Babrina said before Cathy could leave the room.

Cathy eyes turned red as she went for the handle and with her hand shaking,she opened it and  slammed it behind her heavily.

Babrina chuckled showing off her dimples for some times before finally putting on a serious face.

Cathy went into the hotel restroom and angrily splash water on her make-up face.

"Arthur died two years ago and even the murderer died too. Everyone forget all about the two. The reporters forget all about them.the cops forget they ever existed. Even the president forget all about them and the whole world forget all about them too. Who the bloody bitch is She to remind me of those two when I am trying all my possible best to forget them too. Uhn??? "And hot tears stream down her pretty face as she look at herself in the mirror resting her two palms on the tile pavement.

"Babrina or whatever She's called will have no room in this company and I swear to bring her down and expose her true feathers. She can't be a hindrance to my career I have been maintaining for the past two years. no!!!!! She won't and I won't be a laughing stock in her presence. "And the look of total hatred grow on her face and Cathy eyes were that of mischief.

Babrina walked majestically on her red 6inches heels on the white tile floor and made a little bow at the few people she knew. It was the managing director twenty fifth birthday today and the hall was filled with mostly rich heirs in a round decorated tables of four to five chairs surrounding them.
Babrina smile at the setting of the hall and she could not help admiring it.the hall was a very big one that could contain million of people but there were just not more than hundred people in it. Red curtains were twisted in an Sshape all around the hall giving it a very beautiful appearance and the white fluorescent lights also added to the beauty of the hall. The managing director surely have a good taste.

Babrina sighs as a customer service directed her to a table where two richly dressed girls were sitting talking to themselves.

"Hi "She greeted as she sat down beside one of the Lady who was facing her back toward hers.

"Hey! "The other girl who was a blonde beauty greeted as she wave at her smiling.

The other Lady turned to look at her and her eyes froze.

"We met again. What a coincidence. Nice to meet you Catherine Salvador. "And Babrina held out her hand one more time.

Cathy almost scowl at the devilish smile she was always wearing. wow, she knew who she was.

"Nice to meet you too Babrina Steele. "She responded giving her a cute smile of hers too as she accepted her handshake. This is just the beginning bab I promise you.

You wait till I expose that you are the killer of Arthur.
Babrina smile increases and Cathy had to do same both not letting go of each hands.

"I love your dinner gown. Red is my favorite. "Babrina said trying to admire her U-shape shining gown that was showing half of her boobs.

"I love white .it has always been my favorite. "Cathy said looking all over her. a turtle neck wasn't a bad choice to have her tighten the cloth on her neck to death.

"Excuse me? "The other Lady said noticing they still held their hands. "Don't this hurt you? "She asked looking at them in a confusing way.

Both ladies immediately let go of each other hands and turn to smile at her.

"So what's the menu. "Babrina asked as she gently pick up the menu booklet on the table. She leaf through it and stopped at toast bread and rum wine..She smile at her kind of taste and waved at a waitress who was standing few inches away from them.

"Toast bread and rum wine will make a good match . "She said to her as the waitress stood behind her smiling.

Cathy suddenly turn to look at her as shock welled up in her eyes.
Who are you? There is only one person I know that say things like that. Good and match.

Don't panic dear Cathy. It is not the end. It's just a reminder to let you know I am around here.

Babrina smile increases as she caught Cathy's gaze and pretended not to care. The waitress soon left to get her order.

Cathy immediately went for the glass of wine on the table and with hands trembling, she drank the whole content in it. Why Does Babrina remind her of someone she was willingly to forget all her life?
 

"Are you Okay Cathy? "The other Lady asked noticing her mood.

"I am fine Vidia. "She responded trying to maintain her composure.
No! She needs to control herself.

"You're sure? " Vidia asked as if not believing her.

"Of course. You know me. "And Cathy laughed to avoid any suspicious behavior

Babrina smiled secretly as she knew she had just defeated her a little.

"Here comes the celebrant. " a male voice echoed in the hall with ear mic and every gaze turned to look at the stage. Sound of an applause filled the hall as the celebrant, a handsome man with brown full hair that was shaved sideways walk majestically to the huge three step Cake that was sitting on a decorated glass table at the centre of the stage.

He waved at the people in his blue suit and black leather shoes as he stood behind the Cake with all smiles.

Babrina clapped as she smiled.

"But before he gets to cut the Cake, we shall call on his fiance to join In the cutting. "The  MC continued standing beside the celebrant .

Vidia smiled at Cathy who was already preparing to be called upon.

"So, May we have your attention here miss..." He paused for sometimes before finally coughing lightly.. 'Catherine Salvador!!" He yelled And immediately the whole hall went viral with clapping as Cathy stood up in her red diner gown trying her possible best to smile and forget about what Babrina had Just done.

"She's a diva whom every guy want but Hillary was lucky enough to quickly grab her " and there were laughter in the hall as the clapping subsided.

Babrina also laughed but Cathy knew she was laughing about something else.

Cathy cursed as she left the table to walk the few inches to the stage. The bright light suddenly went off and only a blue light pave it's way on her as she walked to climb the rugged staircase. Flashes of lights descended on her and Catherine was a lady who was used to such light .

Hillary held out his hand to her and Cathy accepted it with all smiles. Another round of applause emerged as Hillary leaned her forward and kissed her flawless forehead before they both turned to look at the audience in the dark.

"Shall we cut the Cake now? "The mC  said and both couple held the knife stuck at the centre of the two 'L' in Hillary's name.

"At the count of three... " The MC cleared  his throat before continuing. 'One..... two...... three....go Hillary!!!!!! " and almost immediately, the couple pressed down the knife and just then, the light were emendated back and the hall was filled with applause again.

Cathy caught Babrina gaze at them as she smile sweetly at them and how she wished the witch was never there. She tried to sweep away her thoughts as she wave at the guests showing off all her white thirty two teeth. She need to surpass Babrina in everything.. She was a Queen in the world of the people here and Babrina must also bow to her.

After the celebration,Hillary family and friends stood at the corner of the far end of the hall to have a conversation. It was probably a boring one for Cathy as she could only think of how to escape the clique. Most especially the talkative Jay Smith who could only tease her and make everyone laugh.

She rolled her blue eyeballs in search of Babrina. I wonder what She's up to.who is she and who invited her. She gave a sigh of relief when she saw her talking to one of the employee in the hotel.Not that she was happy to see her lurking around, she probably have something to ask her .Why she was here? Who is She? And what's her mission. She reminds her of somebody but she couldn't understand Why it has to be now when she will be finally getting ready to marry Hillary. Was her mission to come destroy her when She's about getting married? Ellie wouldn't even dream of doing that that to her even if she find out she had betrayed her to get Hillary.

"So what's your conclusion miss Cathy. "Came Jay's deep voice and Cathy was immediately forced to come out of her thoughts as she noticed all eyes were on her.

"Oh well.....I... " She began smiling. Why Does Jay keep talking to her? He should be planning on how to be a good actor rather than asking her unnecessary questions

"They got no zero percent if they actually goes on with it. "Hillary said coming to her rescue as he put his right hand around her waist pulling her against him.

Just then, a woman in her late thirties Who was so richly dressed in a black shining dinner gown walk towards them smiling.

"Hey !" She greeted Hillary ignoring Cathy as she went for the wine in his hand.

"You're a genius Hill. I love the color you use for the curtains. "The Lady said taking a sip of the wine before returning it back to the owner who could only smile.

"Oh really. "He said nodding as he draw his attention to the curtains on the pop ceiling.

"They are so cool "she said fanning herself with her right hand and breathing in heavily.

"Why is it so hot here? "She said irritatedly before turning her gaze to look at Cathy. Her eyebrows came together.

"Someone else must have looked good together with him " she said in a mockery way before looking away.

Cathy tried not to frown. Clarissa Smith was also one of her foe. After the death of her only daughter, she had started behaving so aggressive and so annoying. Its no doubt she hated her because Ellie should have been the one right here in her position.

"You look lovely Clarissa " Cathy said instead even though she doesn't like flattering her.

Clarissa turn to look at her, her frown deepening.

"Clarissa?? "And she immediately breath in a deep oxygen.

"You're having the guts.... these days.... I see."and Clarissa gave a low laugh.
"Let's see if You're gonna last. "She said giving her a sweet smile before walking away from the kids.
Cathy will probably be executed when she find evidence of her been the murderer of her daughter. We shall wait and see.

HiLlary watch her go with her blonde curly hair that reaches her elbow. Clarissa hated Catherine and everyone knows so it was not the first time She would be pulling Cathy's leg.

"Poor her "Jay said shaking his head. "The woman isn't herself since the death of her daughter "he continued in a sad tone before turning to look at Cathy.

"You shouldn't be hurt by her words  okay?"

As if she cares. As long as Ellie is deep down there was no one who is gonna step on her ever again.

She nodded slowly. "Yes." She said sounding grateful as she looked at him.  Jay gave her one of his best smile and Cathy had to look away. Its no doubt Jay was a handsome guy. He was indeed handsome with that gold fringe hairstyle of his. He could get any girl he want with his baby like face but Cathy thought he wasn't her type as he most times behave so immature.

"Hi everyone?" A new singsong voice joined them and Cathy would recognize that voice anywhere even though she has just met her few hours ago.

"Hey bab..you're here." Jay said smiling at her and Cathy didn't hide the fact that she was surprised. Jay of all people know her?

"Your outfit looks yummy. Babrina" Hillary complimented and Babrina gave a sexy short laughter ignoring the look on Cathy's. She knew Cathy was shocked seeing they know her.

"You ain't looking bad as well Hill. You're always handsome." Babrina said as she winked at him which Cathy found irritating.

Hill gave a low chuckle before turning his face to look at a puzzled Cathy.

"Honey, you should meet my sister And Dear sis, meet my sweet loving wife to be." Hillary introduced turning to look at Babrina.

Cathy mouth escaped an ouch sound as she glued her eyes at Babrina.

She's going to be her sister in law he mean? You mean this devil incarnation is actually her sister in-law?isn't the devil playing pranks on her?so she was going to continue seeing her until the rest of her life?

And Cathy had to pretend a smile." Hi, Babrina," she greeted though wishing she didnt have to be the first to greet.

Babrina stare at her for some times before scoffing and looking away.

"So you're pretending to be nice to me uh?" And she shook her head before turning to look at a confused Hillary.

"Bro,I thought you've got eyes for something good but its a pity its someone as this."

Hillary eyebrows furrowed together.

Babrina sighs before crossing her arms.
"Actually, I met her few hours ago and she was so rude to me." She blurted eyeing Cathy.

Cathy heart somersaulted three times as she tried all her possible best not to frown.

"I don't think we've met before." she said with a cool voice which Babrina finds irritatedly.

"uh, uh." She scoffed as she turned to look at her not believing she could actually pretend. "I never knew you're also a good liar... But anyway I shouldn't be surprised as you are an actress."

Hill's frown deepened as he looked at both of them in confusion.

"Bab, don't be rude to your sister in law." he told Babrina sternly.

And now she gasped. "oh bro, am so sorry. I should be respectful to her since she's gonna be my sister in law though I heard she's a murderer."

Both Jay, Hill and Cathy glared at her in shock and Cathy felt herself shaking visibly.

"Bab, come with me." Hill said as he angrily held her hand and dragged her away.

Cathy heart beat heavily against her ribcage as she may faint at any minute. Will anyone believe her if she says she doesn't have a hand in Arthur's nor Ellie 's death?

And now she felt hot tears gathered in her eyes as she tried all her possible best not to make them fall. She can't cry... No she won't cry in public.

"are you okay?" Jay asked noticing her mood.

Cathy slowly nod her head feigning a smile before bowing slightly at him,

"excuse me Jay." she said almost in a throaty voice and without waiting for Jay's reply, walked away leaving a confused Jay
