Soulmate AU where you can't see the color that your soulmates eyes are until you look the person in the eyes

Green. I knew that he had green eyes. Everyone would tell me, green was such a beautiful fresh color, but some of them couldn't see blues or browns. I could see those colors.

But green was a mystery.

I knew that trees and grass were green, I knew that turtles were green. But my soulmate couldn't see brown.

I let out a soft sigh as I looked at the couples who were wandering together.

And I saw a boy, he must've been around my age, he went and sat under a tree.. I decided to go over there. I didn't know why but I felt the urge that I had to go see him.

I walked up the hill slowly. He turned and looked me in the eyes.

Green.

His eyes were green.

And my world started to unfold.

I could see the bright leaves swishing in the breeze, the darker shade of green that covered the ground.the reflection of green dancing on windows.

I looked back at him.

"Brown eyes," he said with a laughing whisper.

"Green eyes," was all I said.

He giggled and I laughed. Soon enough we were both sprawled on the grass gasping for air.

"I'm Alexander Hamilton," I told him once we had gotten back enough air to talk.

"John Laurens," he told me.

A smile danced across my face.
