Waking up the next morning , I realised I never hated anyone this much .   I hated her for being how she is ... She doesn't care about me , never cared .

I walked out of my room not even bothering to put my slippers on .

The house was empty and silent except the slow murmurs coming from his room .  

I tiptoed to his door and peeked through. He had a huge paper plastered to the wall and he was writing symbols on them . 

I couldn't make out what was what but all I could understand is that they're not something to be used normally .

A part of me , that special part of me recoiled as if they were somehow… evil .

" I suppose you're not going to expect me to tell you to come in because you're obviously spying on me ."

My whole body tensed .

Shit ! Shit ! Shit !

How did he even know I was there ?

So much for staying away from each other Blen ! 

What do I do ? If I walk away, he already sensed that I was here so, that will only give him the satisfaction of  knowing that I wasn't  spying on him . If I go in , then that will also give him the satisfaction of me being around him despite saying otherwise .

Without my conscious control my feet stepped back then a second later his door opened wider and he appeared with that smug face .

I internally rolled my eyes.
" I'm working on a project I left out back home . I'm helping my dad out . You can have a look if you're that curious to start spying on me ."

" I wasn't spying on you ."

" Liar. "

" Whatever." I say walking past him into the room .

My eyes wander all over the paper , recognising a few .

" These are symbols of.." He stands beside me invading my personal space.
" Alchemists. " I finish for him .

He smiled. And I couldn't help but wonder that I haven't seen him smile like this since the day he arrived. This smile was .... Genuine.

He walked to the paper and filled the empty space at the very corner of the paper with one symbol .

" This one stands for sulphur." He told me as if answering my thoughts . I sometimes forget that he has the ability too , after being the only one in the house with those powers.

I stood silent , engraving every symbol into my memory to look it up later.

" It was interesting seeing this , But i don't know what it has to do with me Noah, It's not my business. I should leave ."

I say making my way to the open door .

" It has everything to do with you Blen!" He stated from behind me.

" I don't care."

" Why did you show up at my door then ? It seemed like you pretty much cared ?"

He spoke ,following me .

" You see " I turn facing him only inches between our faces " This is why we should keep away from each other ."

He didn't have a response , not that i would've waited to listen so , I walked away .

" You know " He yelled over the corridor " You're just like your mother , walking away from everything !"

My blood boiled at his assumption, I was in his face in an instant .

" Who the hell do you think you are ? Huh !" I poke his chest back " You come here less than a week ago and suddenly you know everything about everyone !"
I poke him again .

" Why are you even here ?" His face falls at the question , remembering something bad from his past . " Just because no body wants you from  wherever you're from doesn't mean I have the courage to deal with it Noah... " I laugh " I don't even know your last name, yet you're living in my house claiming you know everything about me ! "  I take a step back " I don't give two shits who you are . Just make sure never to show your face when I'm around ."

He surrenders into his room and I stomp back to mine . 

I didn't bother to get out for the rest of the day .
