(Spider-Man is seen ready for the fight)

Spider-Man: Here comes your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!

(The crowd cheers Spider-Man up)

(Suddenly an orange haired man comes in)

????: I challenge you!

Spider-Man: A smoking orange haired man? And I thought my New York was weird!

????: Let's see how long you will keep this childish attitude!

Kotal: It looks like Spider-Man will be fighting Roman Torchwick.

Spider-Man: The most nefarious criminal in Remnant? Okay... Time for some Maximum Spider!

(They fight. Thanks to his spider senses, Spider-Man manages to hold his own against the nefarious criminal of Remnant.)

Spider-Man: The nefarious criminal of Remnant is nothing but a loser!

(Then a silver haired boy wearing a blue shirt and black pants comes in)

????: Roman is nothing but a rookie indeed, Spider-Man! It's me you should be worried about!

Kotal: For the next match, Spider-Man will face Mercury Black!

Spider-Man: What tricks do you have on your sleeve, Quicksilver wannabe?

Mercury: You will find out!

(They fight. During the fight, Spider-Man realizes that Mercury is only using his legs to attack. Then he decides to use his web roll and throws him down, then webs his legs and arms in order to keep him down)

Spider-Man: You could have won if you used your hands too.

Kotal: You're doing great, Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Thanks, Kotal.

(The crowd cheers Spider-Man)

Spider-Man: Thank you, guys. You're kind. Very kind.

(As Spider-Man walks out of the arena, Venom is seen watching him)

Venom: So this is my counterpart. He's very cocky to think he can win.

(Spider-Man is seen getting inside the temple as he sees Dark Captain and Owlman arguing)

Dark Captain: Do you think your crime syndicate is more intimidating than the oppressors?

Owlman: It's no use to compare us with each other!

Dark Captain: Why not? We Oppressors have big plans!

Owlman: Plans which end up failing!

Dark Captain: Your plans failed too!

Owlman: Oh yeah? Do you see my parents by any chance? No. Because I hired Joe Chill to kill them!

Kotal: If you're done talking, I am here to announce that Spider-Man has challenged you both!

Dark Captain: This kid got some nerve to challenge us?

Owlman: What good would it do if we refuse?

Spider-Man: An owl ready to face the spider, huh? Okay, show time!

(They fight. Spider-Man knows that unlike Captain America and Batman, Dark Captain and Owlman don't hesitate to kill anyone who stands in their way. And it gets worse since Dark Captain has enhanced strength and Owlman has a high intellect. Then Spider-Man decides to use both his brain and brawn, and after a long battle, he manages to defeat the evil duo)

Spider-Man: Two heads are not better than one.

(Then Venom comes in)

Venom: You must be my heroic counterpart!

Spider-Man: The one and only, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!

Venom: Why do you refuse to kill those who wrong you?

Spider-Man: With great power comes great responsibility.

Venom: Nonsense!

Spider-Man: You must be really twisted to not think about those you hold dear!

Venom: I don't hold anyone dear. I proved this once I killed my aunt!

Spider-Man: You killed your own Aunt May! This is insane!

Kotal: Now for the next match, Spider-Man vs Venom!

Spider-Man: And you still use the same codename of my archenemy? I'm glad I'm not you!

(They fight. The battle becomes epic as both have spider senses, enhanced strength and intellect. But Spider-Man eventually takes care of Venom for good)

Spider-Man: This is for your victims!

Kotal: And Spider-Man wins again!

(Then a round of applause is heard as Spider-Man bows gracefully)

Iron Man: He did well.

(Spider-Man has defeated his evil counterpart, but the tournament isn't over yet. What will happen next?)
