Chapter One

Nora, Henry and Dawn

2018

"Do you really think it will work?" Nora West-Allen asked her twin brother as he typed on his gauntlet.

The twins stood in the Speed Lab, the only source of light being their gauntlets.

"Do you trust me sis?" Henry asked her, giving her his cheek smile. Nora rolled her eyes at him. "Depends, will it be like the time we gave Cayla a surprise party?" Nora raised an eyebrow at him.

"Really N, you just had to bring that one up didn't you" Henry groaned at her. Nora matched his previous smile with her own. "I am your sister," Nora smiled, crossing her arms.

Henry shook his head at Nora as he finished tapping his gauntlet. "Done just what three minutes and they will come" Henry announced, turning on the lights in the Speed Lab.

Nora grabbed the gauntlet from Henry's hands, inspecting his work. "Your skills are terrible. If Carmen or Ro saw this I'm sure that they would kill themselves just by glimpsing at it" Nora criticized, loosely handing the future technology back to her brother.

"Then let's hope that Carmen doesn't vibe this moment in time" Henry jokes, taking his gauntlet back and putting it on properly. Nora laughed at her brother, hugging her purple and white leather jacket around her tightly.

Red lights and sirens flashed around the twins. "Looks like it worked" Nora gasped, before the familiar sound of a speedster stopping filled her ears.

"Who are you!?" The Flash shouted, staying in the shadows. Nora and Henry turned around to see their hero's lightning shine around his body.

"We know who you are" Nora called, smiling brightly at the hidden speedster. The Flash faltered slightly, he was very concerned with how these people know who he was.

"We know because we're your kids... Dad"

Team Flash stood around the twins, looking at them curiously. "So if you're Barry's kids, what are your names?" Ralph asked them, his arms crossed.

"Nora"

"Henry"

The twins replied at the same time, slightly scaring Cisco and Ralph. "We're also twins" Nora informed them, not noticing the look on Cisco and Ralph's faces.

"Twin Telepathy" They hissed at each other.

"Really Uncle Stretch, 'twin telepathy' isn't real. Well unless your a twin who was hit by the particle accelerator and your twin was there which would mean that-"

"Nora!" Henry exclaimed, catching his sister by her shoulders. The girl looked at her brother, raising an eyebrow. "You're rambling again. Remember what Percy said" Henry reminded Nora, who nodded along with him.

"Don't screw the timeline" they both said

"What year are you two from?" Caitlin asked the twins. "2049" Henry answered the doctor. "And you know who we are?" Cisco asked, his speech slurred from the champagne at Joe and Cecile's small party.

"Of course we do Tío Cisco, you guys are family" Nora answered, shocked that her uncle would even ask that question. "Nora's right. Your Uncle Stretch" Henry pointed at Ralph who was slightly offended at the nickname.

"Auntie Cait and Aunt Frost" Nora smiled at Caitlin, the older woman smiled secretly knowing now there may be a chance to bring Frost back.

"Uncle Wally," Henry pointed at Wally, the fellow speedster flashing a big proud smile at his nephew.

"Papa Joe, Mama Cecile and Aunt Jen" Nora said bouncing in her place, making sure to list all the family members that were current in 2018.

"Mom" Henry smiled at Iris, who almost had a heart attack at the name.

"And... Dad" The twins stopped to look at Barry, their eyes filled with joy and sadness.

"You both are speedsters? Meta abilities are genetic?" Caitlin queried, wondering if her theory was true.

"Yeah, meta powers can be passed down. Hell even if you didn't develop powers after the explosion the chances of your child having powers are..." Henry looked to Nora to finish the fact.

"45-55 percent as of 2032" Nora finished, still smiling brightly at Team Flash.

"Okay" Barry nodded, not really knowing what to do or ask next. "Why are you here?" Barry asked them, scratching his neck from discomfort.

Henry looked at Nora, raising his eyebrows giving her a smug expression. " Yeah, sis. Tell them why we, their future kids are in 2018" Henry pressed, poking his sister's shoulder with his finger every so often.

Nora shook her head slowly, silently laughing while sighing at her brother's statement. "Traitor" She said, nudging his side with her elbow. Henry yelped in pain, rubbing his side.

"Well, tell them XS" Henry gave his twin sister a knowing look. "Fuck you Impulse" Nora spat at her brother.

"Uh, and your hero names are XS and Impulse?" Wally questioned the twin speedsters. "Clearly not my doing" Cisco added, shaking his head.

"No, uh, mine is a nickname that you gave me when I was a kid, Mom," Nora explained to her family. "Mom?" Iris repeated with wide eyes.

"You said I did everything in excess. Guess I've always been like that" Nora laughed a bit, trying to ease the tension. "Overdoing things, getting in way over your head and making mistakes" Henry added, counting his mental list on his fingers.

"Not helping the situation Henry" Nora hissed, slapping the back of his head. "Not trying to sis" Henry replied with a smug, toothy grin. "Like, uh, recently" Nora said, ignoring her brother's antics.

"This mistake that you made?" Barry asked, referring to Henry's previous statement. "Big mistake" Henry dramatized, pulling his hands out and separating them wide.

"Which was helping you save the city by destroying the STAR Labs satellite last night" Nora admitted, her voice raising an octave or two. "You were the other speedster?" Barry gasped in shock.

"I just couldn't stop myself from getting involved" Nora sighed, playing with the sleeve of her jacket. "But something happened when she did, because now, We both can't run fast enough to open up the Speed Force" Henry told the team.

"Par... pardon me" Ralph stuttered, his eyes wide. "Are we talking about actual time travel here?" He questioned, oblivious to the concept of time travel being real.

"Do you just like not pay any attention when we have our briefings?" Cisco complained, leaning against the STAR Labs super computer. "Y'all didn't teach him about the Legends?" Wally asked, slightly offended that they didn't.

"Look, nobody said bubkes about time travel," Ralph exclaimed, waving his hands in the air.

"Okay! Why don't we run a few tests. Just to make sure that you both are telling the truth" Barry suggested, hoping to change the subject and figure out if this was just another villain trying to squeeze their way onto the team.

"Understandable!" the twins agreed.

Nora and Henry ran around the Speed Lab, Nora's purple and yellow lightning bouncing beside her brother's orange and yellow lightning. Their laughter echoed as Caitlin alongside a clearly drunk Cisco monitored their speed.

Barry and Iris watched as the twins ran around, their expressions a mix of awe, shock and fear. "This is so, so weird" Barry sighed, rubbing his face in between his hands. "Yeah, I mean, I can't believe that's our daughter and son up there" Iris mused, her insides all giddy and nervous like she was a little girl again.

"We have been lied to before" Barry stated, giving Iris a serious look. "Barry" Iris sighed, her mood dropping instantly. " Nora has yellow lightning like yours, purple lightning like mine" Iris pointed out, tilting her head to the side. "Henry has orange lightning and yellow like yours again" Iris added, hoping her husband would see sense.

"I mean, it's... It's got to be them" Iris admitted, shrugging her arms. "We're meeting our twins for the first time, Barry" Iris reminded him.

"Yeah, well, look. If it is true, Nora and Henry could say the wrong thing or step on the wrong butterfly and screw up the whole timeline" Barry said, only beginning to list everything that could go wrong.

"I mean, they could Marty McFly themselves out of existence" Barry exclaimed, only adding to his cons instead of the pros in the current situation. "Mm, Terminator 2 yeah" Iris said, mixing up her references.

"No, that's 'Back to the... It doesn't matter" Barry brushed aside her mistake. "Look, we just need to be responsible, all right?" Barry stated, his mind racing at the negative possibilities.

"I mean, I think we need to find a way to send them home, fast" Barry concluded, he knew the effects of time travel were drastic. "Barry, don't you think in the future we taught our daughter and son how not to screw with the timeline?" Iris suggested.

The familiar whoosh of two speedsters made Iris and Barry turn around to see the twins with worried faces. "Hey, what's wro-" Iris was cut off by shouting.

'Nora! Henry! Help its Thawne' a voice screamed from the gauntlet in Henry's hands.

The twins looked at each other momentarily before they flashed out of the lab.

Iris turned to Barry, her eyes full of concern. "Barry, follow them" She ordered before husband followed in pursuit of the twins.

Nora and Henry ran into the abandoned warehouse. They looked around for the person who called them. "Where is she?" Henry asked looking through his amber goggles, the tech inside scanning for other speedsters.

Nora walked around the contraptions, seeing a familiar invention. "Henry. I don't think this is just some random warehouse" the woman called back before a flash of blue lighting shot past her.

A loud groan echoed in the warehouse, the Flash arrived seeing a teen girl surrounded by silver metal shards. "Kid! You okay?" The hero called out, running at human speed to check on her.

The girl jumped up swiftly, looking directly in front of her. "Why are you here?" The girl yelled at the hero. Before the Flash could answer her, the teen girl stretched her arms out and blue lighting crackled along her arms, building up in her palms.

The metal that surrounded her began to shake before they shot towards the teen. The Flash looked at the teen girl, terrified at the sight. The girl looked like Savitar, only more feminine and no bulky helmet.

She wore blue goggles, her silver and blue hair dulled against the shiny metal. "That's better" the girl sighed before looking back at the Flash. "If you're worried about Pizza Crust, he's dead thankfully" She told him before a red and black lighting strike tried to hit her.

The teen raised her arms in an X formation, more metal forging from her lighting stopping the lightning from hitting her. "I don't have time to catch you up, just follow my lead and don't die" The teen told Barry before moving to where the lightning strike came from.

The Flash followed the teen, a million and one questions running through his head. Was he going insane to the fact he was taking orders from a teenager who looks like the evil version of himself that tried to kill his wife and killed one of his friends. Most likely, yes.

The teen fought a black blur, red lightning surrounded the blur. The hero watched as the teen used two sharp shards of metal to fight it. "Hey sister! A hand would be nice" The teen called before Nora ran into the black blur.

"Stay away from her" Nora yelled, standing by the feminine Savitar. "XS" the blur stopped phasing. He wore a black and red version of the Reverse Flash suit with a few modifications.

The Flash saw the man's dark blonde hair, the familiar crooked smile plastered on his face. "How nice to see you again, do tell me. How is Rosie?" The man asked before a bolt of orange and yellow lighting hit him.

"You both okay?" Henry asked the pair. "We are okay brother, just bruised" the teen responded before dropping her metal armor. The Flash watched in awe as the metal was or sorted by the teen's skin. The trio noticed that the speedster was gone.

"Great, he got away again" The teen groaned before she winced. The Flash noticed a growing red stain on her white string top. "Okay maybe I am injured" the teen said.

That's when the twins noticed their father watching the scene play out with a dumbstruck face. "Let me guess, you haven't told them about the whole" The teen made a circle gesture that only the twins could understand.

"Let's get you back to STAR Labs and patch you up" Henry decided before lifting the teen bridal style.

<><><>

The teen girl, known as Dawn sat in the medbay swinging her legs over the bed she sat on. She watched intently as Caitlin stitched up her rapidly healing wound.

"You're very skilled with a needle" Dawn awed, seeing her hands stay steady as it pierced her skin. "Says the girl who refused anesthetic and hasn't winced once this entire process" Caitlin commented before finishing her work.

There was something strange about Dawn, Caitlin swore the girl was familiar but the doctor couldn't figure out how.

Caitlin silently studied the teen, she had silver hair with blue dip-dye. It was short, mostly covering the left side of her face. Dawn had fair skin and bright green eyes which made Caitlin question her relationship towards the twins, but hey who's she to judge.

Dawn wore a off the shoulder blue to grey ombré top paired with black to grey leggings and a pair of black shoes. What Caitlin found intriguing was the necklace the girl wore. It was almost a prettier copy of the necklace she wore to stop her ice powers.

"You can just ask me, you know" Dawn said, taking Caitlin out of her thoughts. The older woman looked at Dawn taken back. "Excuse me?" Caitlin asked, putting supplies away.

"You have questions about me. It's not the first time this has happened to me" Dawn explained to the doctor. Caitlin looked at Dawn dumbfounded, failing to form a sentence.

"Dawn! Safe to come in?" Henry's voice shouted from outside. "All good brother" Dawn answered, pulling down the top over her stitches. The speedster came in, quickly checking over Dawn before kissing the top of her head.

"You know N is going to kill you right?" Henry said, crossing his arms. Dawn just shrugged, looking down at her feet. Henry sighed, sitting next to Dawn. Henry nudged her carefully, "Wanna tell me what happened".

Dawn shook her head, fiddling with her snowflake necklace. "I want to see him" Dawn said slowly, looking at Henry. "Sissy, what happened with Ethan?" Henry asked her, overprotective brother mode activating. " He did something and I need you to help me figure out how to fix this" Dawn told him.

<><><>

Nora pulled Dawn into a bone crushing hug. "Sis..ter...air" Dawn forced, her voice very high pitched up to the lack of oxygen. Nora quickly let go, apologizing to her sister. Dawn nodded, fixing her clothes. "You're also Barry and Iris' daughter from the future?" Ralph asked, very confused by Dawn's... appearance.

"Is there a problem in my story?" Dawn asked, fiddling with her thumbs. She stood in between her older siblings, a reflex position from her childhood. "No, it's just you don't exactly look like... Iris that much" Ralph pointed out, making Dawn curl into Nora's side.

She mumbled something incoherent as Nora rubbed circles soothing on her back. "It's alright Dawn, they'll understand" Nora reassured her. Henry gave her an encouraging smile.

"The reason behind that is because I am not Iris's biological daughter. She adopted me when..." Dawn looked to the floor, hoping to control her breathing. "You can do this sis" Henry told her.

"Iris adopted me when I ran from my birth father, Savitar" Dawn told them, ready to embrace the worst. Iris slowly walked towards the teen, a small smile on her face. "It's lovely to meet you Dawn" Iris told her. Dawn looked at the younger version of the woman who took her in.

The silverette ran into Iris, giving her a hug around the waist. "Mama" Dawn mumbled, Iris returning the hug even though this was all new to her. Nora and Henry felt the weight on their shoulders lifting at the sight. At least Mom doesn't change.

"Savitar had a daughter. Why would he do that?" Cisco wondered. Dawn pulled away from Iris, looking at Cisco. "I was insurance to him. I am his only tie to the timeline" Dawn explained to him.

"How old were you?" Joe asked, his face shocked that a version of Barry could do this. Evil or not Dawn barely looked old enough for her age. "I was five. I spent the first third of my life with my tyrant mother from Earth-44" Dawn told them calmly.

Barry watched the interactions Dawn had with his wife and the twins. She seemed close with Nora but she favored Iris over everyone in the room. Dawn hasn't looked at him in the amount of time she has been in the same room as him.

"Dawn, why were you fighting Ethan?" Nora asked her sister. Dawn held her palm out, a small light emitting from her skin. A hologram appeared with a very familiar box.

"Ever since Savitar stole the stone, others have tried to claim it. If the stone get destroyed Savitar will inhabit their body, therefore take over the world and murder me" Dawn explained, closing her palm.

"Ethan found the location of the stone. But he needs the year" Dawn took a flash drive out of her pocket. She handed it to Barry, "Open the files and I'll explain what's on them. Nora and Henry can back up my claims".

Barry put the drive into a nearby computer. Police records appeared on the screens. A girl with a red and gold hair mugshot appeared next to the records. She had a dark crimson mask on her face and piercing green eyes. "Speed Breaker?" Iris read out.

"The most powerful gang lordess from Central City to Star City" Dawn said. "Rosie, our sister was one of her best friends" Henry breathed out, staring at the photo. "Sweet Jesus, how many times has she been arrested?" Caitlin asked. "Lost count after twenty. The only reason she didn't go to prison was because there would be a large power gap in every single gang she had control over" Nora explained to Team Flash.

Dawn moved past Barry, inching away from his touch as much as she could. "I spent most of my childhood around criminals, either with my tyrant surrogate or Savitar. I know a bad guy from a broken soul so I asked Speed Breaker to hide the stone from Ethan" Dawn explained.

"Speed Breaker's most impressive feat was when she caught Eobard and Ethan Thawne. You know the evil son from the future" Henry stated, taking the USB drive out of the computer. "Speed Breaker hasn't been active since 2039. No one has seen her since" Nora informed her siblings, hand on her hip.

Dawn laughed at her sister. "Really! Come on Nora, who was the one person who had constant contact with Speed Breaker before she went underground?" Dawn asked her, taking out a photo in her pocket.

Nora took the photo from her little sister, giving her a 'are you fucking with me' look. "Dawn, you can pull her into something like this, Ro told us not to" Nora reminded her, handing back the photo. "Who's Ro?" Barry asked the girls. Henry let out an annoyed sigh. "Rosie is our other little sister. She's a few years older than Dawn" Henry explained to his father.

"Where is your sister? Shouldn't she be here" Joe pointed out, seeing as only three out of four siblings present. "No one has seen her since Eobard was sentenced, she... left to go find herself" Henry scolded, rolling his eyes at the thought of his sister.

"Henry! She's still our sister!" Nora scolded him, hitting his arm. Henry rolled his eyes again. "Anyways... I may have gone to Speed Breaker before following Ethan to this decade" Dawn mentioned, her voice squeaked as she spoke.

"You did what?" Henry exclaimed, anger prominent on his face. "She has connections, if she finds something she'll come back here and tell us" Dawn looked at home with puppy dog eyes. Henry looked to his twin sister with pleading eyes.

The trio turned to their parents, Nora being the most eager. "Will you guys help us?" Nora asked her parents, a hopeful smiled on her face.

Barry and Iris looked at each other, then to Team Flash. "I guess we'll have the guest bedroom made up" Barry smiled at the siblings, wrapping his arm around his wife's shoulders.

Dawn smiled at her mother before yawning. Henry lifted his little sister up, resting her on his hips. "Okay Princess, I think you need some sleep free the day you've had" Henry smiled at his baby sister, who had almost fallen asleep in his arms.

2049

Eobard Thawne sat in his cell, staring at the white podium.

"What did you do," a woman's voice hissed, pink and gold lightning shone on the glass pane. The villain turned around to face the woman.

She had dark skin and bright red hair with gold ends. Her green eyes glowing in rage.

"Whatever do you mean, Ms. West-Ramon" he smiled sadistically. "My sister. I know you had something to do with that speedster. You're the only one of them who was born human" The woman spat at the prisoner.

"Roseanna" Eobard sighed, shaking his head. "You most certainly are Barry Allen's daughter" He commented, watching the woman punch the glass causing it to crack.

"Don't compare me to him!"

The man laughed slightly at Roseanna's temper. "Now, where are my sisters and my brother before I use that knife and carve your heart out!" Roseanna threatened the speedster, her green eyes going red.

"Depends, Roseanna. Would you like to meet your father"
