I walked into the Curtis house with my brother Dallas by my side. Johnny and his younger sister Wolf were on the couch again with more bruises from their stupid parents. Darry and Soda were helping them when I went over. I sat down next to my boyfriend Johnny and one of my best friends Wolf. "Mom again?" I asked and the two Cades nodded. "If they touch you two again,I'll kick their butt." spoke up Dallas and Wolf managed a laugh. " I know how you feel." I whispered to the two of them thinking about my old,abusive dad back in New York. "It's okay Emily."whispered Johnny as I kissed his forehead. Wolf looked over at me and smirked. "You and Johnny are perfect you know?" said Wolf and America,Pony's twin sister walked into the room. "Of course we are." whispered Johnny sweetly. "Okay lovebirds, calm down you're only 15 and 16 years old." stated America. I managed a smile and pulled my friends into a hug. Then our other best friend Kayla Matthews entered the room with her brother Two Bit aka Keith. There three of us sat on the couch together and watched Mickey Mouse and made sure the two Cades were alright. "Anyone wanna come to the drive in with me tonight?" asked Ponyboy and us three girls,Johnny and Dallas said we would come. Two Bit said, "I was planning on getting drunk but if I don't I'll stop by." Kayla playfully punched her brother in the shoulder.
