Mitch drop Kirstie off at her condo before going to meet up with Scott.

She walks in throwing her keys on the table and plopping down on her couch with a heavy sigh.

Mitch has a date. Avi has a date. It's Saturday night, why in the heck don't she have one. She pulls out her phone and starts to thumb through the pictures that she had taken today.

She had taken pictures at every place they went. She suddenly notice something in one of the selfies she took. It was at the service station they had stopped at. She smiled and looked more closely.

Just over her right shoulder, coming out of the station. It was him. Brown eyes.

She smiles as she lays her phone in her lap. She has to admit, he was very cute. Dark brown eyes, a sweet smile and don't even get her started on that beautiful long hair. She could just imagine running her fingers through it.

"Stop it, Kirstie." She scolds herself, picking back up her phone looking again at the picture. "If only you weren't a grease monkey." She sighs. "But you are a very cute little monkey." She giggles as she closes out her pictures and goes to her contact to order some take out.

After eating, she runs herself a bubble bath. She ties her short blond hair up in a small pony tail and gets into the bath to relax. 

Every time she closes her eyes, she sees him. Those brown eyes full of hurt when he looked at her after Mitch had turned on the wipers and hurt his hand. Why did Mitch do something so mean?

Avi was right. It could have jammed his finger or even broke it. Then how would he have been able to work.

She caught herself trying to remember the name on his uniform shirt. She knew she had glanced at it. Didn't it start with a 'T'? Tom, Tony, Tim, Troy? Why didn't she pay more attention!!

She gets out of the tub and gets dressed in her comfortable sleeping shorts and a tee shirt. Going to the kitchen, getting herself a glass of wine then heading back to the living room.

She picks up the remote and turns on the television, flipping through the channels, finding her favorite movie 'Titanic'.

Wrapping up in a blanket, she stares at the t.v. screen. Once again, she thinks of the grease monkey, wondering how he is spending his Saturday night. Probably on a date at some country bar, two-stepping the night away. One thing she knows for sure, he definitely ain't watching the 'Titanic'.

Although she had seen the movie a thousand times, she never realized just how much her and Rose had in common. Both rich and both very unhappy.

But Rose gave it all up for love. 

She wonders if she could actually do that. The money was her's, it was left to her when her parents were killed in a car crash two years ago. But what would her friends think if she started to date someone that wasn't high society. The grease monkey for example.

Mitch would definitely disown her as a friend. The Grassi's were at the top of the high society league. That's all Mitch has ever been taught. He was a rich bitch and he knew.

Avi, on the other hand, was more level headed. Yes, the Kaplan's were very rich but they never really let the money control their lives and their decisions like the Grassis.

Mitch chose his friends on how much money was in their bank account, including his boyfriend Scott. Scott's family was also rich.

Avi treats everyone the same. One of his good friends, Kevin Olusola, is not a rich man. Middle class. And then there is this mysterious boyfriend that Avi has. Maybe, just maybe, Avi has fallen for someone in a lower class than they are and that is why he is being so secretive.

Kirstie yawns and cuddles up on the couch. The heavy thinking along with the wine was giving her a headache.

All she knew for sure was that she was lonely. She would love to have someone to cuddle with on the couch. Someone to hold her in their arms and to kiss her.

She's beginning to realize that the old saying 'Money can't buy happiness' is true. Having money was nice but not having someone to love and to love her back was the worse thing ever.

Loneliness sucks, she thought as she wipes her tears that she didn't even realize were rolling down her face.

She fully understands why Rose did what she did.
