Kirstie crosses her arms over her chest and glares down at her mom.

"What?" Her mom asks innocently.

"What did you do?" Kirstie asks.

"Nothing." Angelica answers as she straightens the silverware.

"Mother?" Kirstie asks in a warning tone.

"Okay, okay. I might have tested him a little bit." Angelic says and shrugs her shoulders.

"Mommm." Kirstie whines, sitting down at the table with her beautiful mother. "Don't do this to him. Tim is not like the other boys I dated."

"I surely hope not. Cause all the others were just after your money. They didn't love you and I proved it." Angelic says.

"Yes, I know. But Tim is different. He's more mature. He wants to work for his money." Kirstie says. "We've even had arguments about me wanting to help financially. He doesn't want my money. He loves me not my money."

"Well, I do have this to say." Angelica smiles. "Out of all your boyfriends that I flirted with, he was the only one that panicked and ran away. I honestly thought he was going to pass out."

"I love him so much, Mom. And he honestly loves me." Kirstie smiles and rubs her stomach. "And he is the father of your grand baby."

"Which, by the way, I still don't know what it is yet." Angelica says.

"I've got a good mind not to tell you. After what you did to Tim." Kirstie smirks.

"Alright. I'll go apologize." Angelica says as she rolls her eyes and laughs.

Angelica was a very beautiful woman. She had gotten pregnant at the early age of 16. It was during a very wild time of her life. She had no idea who the father to her daughter was. Her parents were hurt at first but soon became very supportive of their daughter and proud of her determination to raise her baby alone.

Angelica grew into a beautiful and classy lady. Her main goal in life was to protect her daughter at any cost.

When Kirstie started to date, Angelica devised this plan to test her daughter's boyfriends. Which proved to be very effective. She flirted with them. She looked more like Kirstie's older sister than her mom. She found out quickly that the boys were more interested in Kirstie's money more than they were her.

The boys would flirt back and make passes at Angelica when her daughter was not around. Some even wanted to meet her privately.

Kirstie was furious with her mom at first. But soon realized it was for the good.

Tim sat on their bed, rocking slightly. Not knowing what to do. He knew he couldn't tell Kirstie that her own mother was coming on to him.

There was a soft peck on the door, Tim thinking it might be his girlfriend goes to answer the door.

He opens the door and steps back quickly when he sees Angelica.

"Angelica." His voice shaky from his nerves.

"Can we talk?" She asks.

"I..I..I don't think..." Tim backs away from her shaking his head.

"I need to apologize. I'm so sorry, Tim." Angelica says honestly. "My daughter means the world to me. I have to protect her. Even if it's testing her boyfriends."

"Testing? I don't .. I don't understand." Tim says, keeping a safe distance from Angelica.

"All her other boyfriends were after one thing and one thing only. Her money." Angelica states.

"I ... I don't want her money. We've even argued about it." Tim says.

"That's what she told me." Angelica says.

"It's my place to support her and our baby." Tim tells her.

"I'm very impressed, Tim. You are definitely different from the others" Angelica smiles.

"Angelica, I love your daughter so much." Tim says trying to swallow the lump that had rose into his throat.

"I can see that now. Kirstie is very lucky to have found someone like you." Angelica says, taking Tim by the hand.

Tim nervously looks down at their hands.

"I am so, so sorry for doing that to you." She giggles at his nervousness.

"Is everything alright in here?" Kirstie asks as she peeks into the bedroom.

"Yeah, I think so." Angelica smiles. "But I think he's still scared of me."

"Baby, you have to look over my mom." Kirstie smiles as she walks in and wraps her arms around her lover. "She can be a little strange."

"I can see that." Tim says with a nod and a nervous chuckle.

Angelica huffs and puts her hands on her waist.

"I have you know, Mr. Tim, that I would stoop to anything to protect my daughter. And you and Kirstie will do the same thing." Angelica says and then smiles. "When you hold that baby in your arms for the very first time, you will promise to protect him or her with your life."

Kirstie smiles as she looks up meeting Tim's brown eyes. They smile and nod then turns their attention back to Angelica.

"Her." They say in unison.

"Her? HER!!!" Angelica squeals. "HER!! MY GRANDBABY IS A GRANDDAUGHTER!!??"

She covers her mouth as happy tears begin to roll down her cheeks. She runs to them grabbing them both in a hug.

"I love you both so much." She cries.

"Don't you want to know her name?" Kirstie asks through her tears.

"Oh my God. You've already picked out a name?" Angelica smiles, wiping her tears.

"Yep." Tim says as he reaches for a box of tissues.

"Well?" She asks taking a tissue from the box.

"I'll give you the honors." Tim smiles at Kirstie as he hands her a tissue.

"Her name is Bailey Olivia Foust." Kirstie smiles.

"Oh, that's so beautiful." Her mother says as she starts to cry again. "Just promise me one thing."

"What's that?" Tim asks.

"Please, never tell her that her Nana tried to seduce her daddy." Angelica laughs.
