"Well?" Adam asks as he runs up behind Tim as he's locking the door behind him.

"Well, what?" Tim asks turning around.

"Did you talk to Kirstie last night?" Adam asks, following Tim over to the computer.

"Oh, that. Yeah, we talked." Tim says as he turns on the computer.

"Am I gonna have to beat it out of you or are you gonna tell me?" Adam asks, leaning on the counter staring at his brown-eyed friend.

Tim sighs as he runs a hand through his hair.

"She thinks that she may be pregnant." Tim says in a low voice.

"WHAT!!?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!" Adam shouts, his eyes widening in shock.

"Does this look like an 'I'm kidding' face?" Tim growls slightly, pointing to his face.

"What ... What are you gonna do?" Adam asks as he sits down on a stool.

"She doesn't know for sure yet. We're going to the drug store this evening to get a pregnancy test." Tim says. "She's two weeks late on her period."

"Wow. Are you gonna teach it to call me Uncle Adam?" Adam smirks.

"Don't you have something you need to be doing, Uncle Dickweed?" Tim asks with a raised brow.

Tim calls Kirstie to let her know that he was on his way home so that she could be ready.

As he drives up, she comes out and locks the apartment.

"Hey, Beautiful." Tim greets her with a kiss as she hops into his jeep.

"Hey, Handsome." She smiles. "I've missed you."

"Missed you too. I'd rather had spent the day with you than with Adam." Tim chuckles.

"Uh oh, he knows." She states.

"Yep." Tim answers as they head toward town.

"I'll only be a minute." Kirstie says as they pull up in front of the drug store.

She gets out of the jeep and goes inside.

A sudden car horn behind him causes Tim to jump. He looks around to see Adam and Avi laughing.

He gets out of the jeep and strolls over the driver's side.

"I just can't get away from you, can I." Tim chuckles.

"We want to be there when she finds out." Adam laughs.

"This is a huge step if she is." Tim says with a serious tone. "I wasn't expecting this to happen so soon. I thought we were being so careful."

"Accidents happen." Avi shrugs. "My sister thought she was pregnant once but it was a false alarm. And this might be too."

"JUST GET THE F*CK OUT OF MY FACE!!"

They heard Kirstie shout.

Tim looks to see Kirstie coming out of the store with a small bag in her hand. Rushing out behind her was his ex, Jenika.

"DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME, B*TCH!!" Jenika yells as she reaches out and grabs a hand full of Kirstie's hair.

"OH SH*T!" Tim says loudly as he starts toward the fight. Adam and Avi quickly jumping out of the truck.

"OWWW!" Kirstie screams out. She grabs her hair with one hand and after dropping her bag, she swings with the other hitting Jenika in the jaw with her fist.

"KIRSTIE! NO!" Tim yells as he grabs her around the waist trying to pull her away just enough to get in between them.

Adam grabs Jenika but not before she hits Tim a couple of time's in the back, swinging at his girlfriend.

Avi grabs Kirstie and begins to drag a still fighting friend to the jeep. Freeing Tim to handle Jenika.

Tim turns around just in time to receive a slap across the face. He quickly grabs her wrists and shoves her back against Adam.

"WHAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU, B*TCH!" Tim yells in anger.

"THAT SNOBBY WHORE AIN'T GONNA WALK AWAY FROM ME!!" Jenika yells as she tries to get away from Adam.

"JENIKA!" Tim shouts and then takes a deep breath to calm himself. "She may be pregnant."

Jenika immediate stops fighting and stares at Tim.

"Is it yours?" She asks with hate in her eyes.

"Of course it's mine." Tim answers.

"Are you sure?" She asks with an evil smirk on her face.

Tim shakes his head. "You disgust me. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I curse the day I ever met you."

Tim turns and heads to the jeep to check on Kirstie. Adam pushes past Jenika, reaching down and picking up Kirstie's bag.

Avi had managed to calm Kirstie down. She looks up to see an angry looking Tim heading toward the jeep.

"Dang, he looks mad." She whispers as she rubs her aching hand.

"Probably, but not at you." Avi says in a soft voice.

"I hope you're right." Kirstie gives the friend a nervous smile.

"Are you alright?" Tim asks softly as he rubs a thumb across her cheek.

Kirstie nods quickly and throws her arms around his neck.

"I'm so sorry. I should have known better. I tried to walk away, I really did." She says as the tears begin to fall.

"I know." Tim says as he rubs a hand up and down her back. "Just, Please, calm down."

"I'm okay." She nods pulling out of the hug. She sees the red mark on Tim's cheek. "Are you?"

"Yeah." Tim chuckles. "It's not the first time she's slapped me."

Adam hands her the bag she had dropped.

"Let's go home." Kirstie says. "I have a test to take."

They walk into the apartment and Kirstie takes the test out of the bag.

Tim walks up to her, taking her by the chin to lift her face to him.

He leans down and kisses her softly.

"Whatever the results are, it's okay." He smiles before kissing her again.

"Promise?" She says with a worried look.

"I promise." He smiles and winks at her.

She nods and let's go of the breath she was holding and heads to the bathroom.

Tim sits down on the couch and rubs a shaky hand over his face.

"You alright?" Adam asks, sitting down next to his friend. "Just how are you feeling?"

"Confused. Part of me doesn't want her to be pregnant because our relationship is just now getting started. But the other part wants her to be pregnant. I'd love to have a family with Kirstie." Tim says, nervously rubbing his hands on his legs.

"Here." Avi smiles handing him a beer.

"Bless you." Tim says quickly taking the beer, opens it and drinks about half of it. "I needed that."

Kirstie walks out of the bathroom.

"Well?" Tim asks.

"We'll know something in about ten more minutes." Kirstie says as she sits down in her lover's lap.

"This will be the longest ten minutes of your entire lives." Adam chuckles.

"Probably." Tim says, laying his forehead on Kirstie's shoulder.

Adam chuckles as he starts to hum the theme to 'Jeopardy'.

Tim slowly raises his head and looks at his friend. "Do you mind?"

"Hey, you only have 8 minutes and 39 seconds to go." Avi laughs.

"And y'all just had to come over here, right?" Tim says rubbing his forehead with the palm of his hand.

They fall into a comfortable silence as they waited out the ten long minutes.

"It's time." Kirstie says with a shaky breath.

Tim nods and gives her a kiss before she disappears into the bathroom.

"Well, this is it, Timmy." Adam says as he rubs his friend on the back.

"Yeah, this is it." Tim says softly as he stares at the bathroom door.
