"I love you... So, so much..." Florida Man whispered breathily, a soft smile on his face as he says those final words. He closed his eyes slowly, blood pooling around him.

Aus's breath hitches as he chokes on a sob. Florida Man was gone. He took the bullet that was supposed to be given to him. "Oh my fucking god... Flori... Please don't go... Please..." He couldn't speak anymore. He shook and curled up, right there in that little alleyway.

He couldn't believe it. A man had tried to rob and kill Aus, only for Florida Man to jump out in front of him. "It should have been me... IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME!" Aus yelled. He hyperventilates, starting to feel his vision go black.

Before Aus knew it, he awoke in bed with a sob. He sat up and frantically looked for Florida Man. Florida Man wasn't there.

"No....Nononono... Flori..." Australian Man sobbed. He sniffed, flinching as a hand was put on his shoulder.

"Flori what?" Florida Man asked, wary smile on his face. Australian Man pounced, wrapping his arms around Florida Man's torso.

"You're here... Oh thank fuck... I thought you were gone..." Aus says through his cries. Aus sniffed and buried his head in the crook of Florida Man's neck.

"I'm here now... And love, I won't ever leave you... You had an awful nightmare." Florida Man said, placing a hand on the Australian's jaw, wiping the tears.

"Just a dream... Oh thank fuck it's just a dream... I thought you were dead and my nightmares came true. I thought you were gone forever, leaving me behind." Aus said, breaths coming faster than before. He sniffed and another sob came out. His breath hitches.

A saddened glaze forms over Florida Man's eyes as he rakes a hand through Aus's hair. "Love... All will be okay. I promise." Florida Man says with a saddened sigh.

"...Promise me you won't get yourself killed?" Australian Man asked.

"...I promise." Florida Man said, kissing Aus on the temple. He lets the comfortable silence consume the room.

Aus's sobs died down to occasional whimpers. He sniffed, nuzzling Florida Man in the crook of his neck. He felt the hot breath of Florida Man on his skin. He felt a warming calmness spread through his veins. He felt the warmth in his chest.

Florida Man continued to hold Aus, hearing his tired sobs until they calmed. "Are you feeling better love?" He asked, gently cupping the saddened Austrailian's cheek.

"A little bit..." Australian Man said, cuddling back into Florida Man. He mumbled something umable to be understood.

"Good..." Florida Man said, rubbing Austrailian Mans back. He feels Australian Man's breath even out and hears quiet snoring. He smiles, gently getting a fluffy blanket and cuddling Aus into his arms. "Sweet dreams love..." He whispers.

Aus sleepily whislers something in reply before nuzzling once again. Soon, Florida Man falls asleep as well, savoring the warmth of his boyfriend sleepily whispering "I love you..."
