This is just something I wanted to write so I hope you enjoy 

It all happened so quick, no one could do anything to stop it happening. Your all probably wondering what I'm talking about, this is the story of Future Lucy Heartfilia and how she came back in time to warn everyone that there future was doomed and she asked Natsu and others to protect the future. 

Future Lucy told Natsu and the others that they had to get into the kingdom to warn the princess of what was going to happen, they came through a passage way and were confronted by the army "Hold it right there! Don't move, your coming with us!" They shouted and surrounded them. Future Lucy panicked, she didn't know they were going to be there "It's no big deal, let's go and kick their ass! You ready Sapphire?" Natsu asked his sister getting ready "You bet Natsu!" She shouted. Natsu,Sapphire,Lucy,Loke,Wendy and Panther Lily were fighting there way through the soldiers, they were getting more and more surrounded until they saw the guard's being stuck into a black shadow. Natsu and the others were wondering what or who was helping them. 

"All the guard's are gone!" Sapphire shouted, Wendy pointed at the shadow "Look! Over there, someone is coming out of the shadows!" Everyone looked to see a guy with long white hair and a bit of black at the front. Natsu asked "Who are you?" The figure stood in front of them "I'm Rogue from the future" everyone gasped. They couldn't believe that this was Rogue, he looked completely different from the present one, Future Lucy said under her breath "So I'm not the only one who came through the gate..." Everyone was wondering why he was here? Was he here for the same reason as Future Lucy? Future Rogue told them "I'm here because 10,000 Dragons are going to attack us and the only way for us to destroy them is to close the gate, but someone prevented the gate from closing" Natsu looked at him "I don't have a clue what your talking about buddie, but anwser me this one question, who's this person your looking for?" He asked. 

Future Rogue gritted his teeth "It's you... Lucy Heartfilia!" He shot his magic towards her, Natsu shouted "LUCY!" he tried to stop it but failed. It was like everything had gone in slow motion, but the Future Lucy jump in front of Present Lucy and took the hit instead. Everyone looked in horror, Future Lucy hit the ground both Lucy ans Sapphire ran to her side. Natsu stood there shaking in shock, Happy ran to Future Lucy too "No!" Lucy picked her Future self up off the ground holding her, Future Lucy spoke coughing up blood "I didn't close the gate..." Lucy spoke "I know you didn't, I won't either!" She said tearing up. Sapphire looked at her crying "Lucy your goona be ok!" Future Lucy smiles at her "You know I never thought I'd have myself dying at my side it's kinda comforting" she coughed even more. Lucy looked at her "No don't talk like that! Your gonna make it!" She said now crying. Happy walked up to her side "Oh Lucy, just try to hang in there" she smiled again, putting her hand on Happy's face while he held her hand tight "I'm not the Lucy you know, don't be sad" "We are sad! We don't care where you came from, we love you! Lucy is Lucy! Of course I'm sad!" Happy cried uncontrollably not being able to hold his emotion. 

Future Lucy asked Lucy "Hey can i see your Guild Mark?" Lucy held her hand out, Future Lucy was rubbing the Guild Mark smiling. Natsu had a flashback of Lucy getting her Guild Mark. 

*FlashBack* 

"Hey Natsu look! Mirajane just put the official Fairy Tail Mark on my hand!" 

Natsu gritted his teeth together, at that moment Future Lucy's body and hand felt limp and drop before she died her final words to the others were "I wish I went on more Adventures...." Everyone was an emotional mess, Sapphire was looking at her brother who had his bangs over his eyes not showing them. Future Rogue spoke "What? There was tow of them? How could she not remember that she closed the gate?" He said looking at them, Lucy looked at him upset and angered "I don't care about your gate! How could you?!" She shouted at him. He gritted his teeth in anger "The gate will be closed!" He yelled, Lucy looked at him again "I don't care about your Damn gate! Why do you keep accusing me?! Cut it out!" She yelled back at him. Future Rogue's patience was growing less and less "The gate will be closed! Every choice you've made has been decided by fate!" He shouted going to shoot his magic at Lucy again. 

Natsu turned in anger "And I'm gonna turn fate into a pile of ashes!" He shouted using his Fire Dragon Iron Fist at him "I won't let anyone steal Lucy's future! Not while I'm alive!" One of Natsu's eyes were red and the other had tears coming down it. Future Rogue was blown backwards, Natsu heard Future Lucy in his head "Please protect the future..." he said "I will, I promise!" He turned to Lucy "Lucy... Get out of here right now!" Lucy looked at Future Lucy's body "I can't..." Sapphire spoke to Natsu "Natsu please let me help" Natsu looked at his sister "No you need to get Lucy to a safe place, promise me" he asked her. Sapphire looked at him "I promise, be careful!" She said to him, he nodded at her "I'll deal with his bastard" Sapphire wipe her tears away and grabbed Lucy's hand "Lucy come on, Natsu's got this!" She said while they got up and ran with the others "Maybe it would be a good idea to run away from the Psyco Murder! Happy shouted. 

Future Rogue tried to run after them but Natsu stop him "Ugh! Natsu Dragneel!" He shouted and then he turned into a shadow but was still talking "I never doubted you'd try and stop me but even if you did kill me, you would still be doomed" Natsu was watching his shadow to see where he'd pop out from "Bastard,I didn't take ya for a butcher" he said. Future Rogue attacked him "You won't be able to save the future, it's pointless trying" Natsu stood up wiping his tears away "You took something precious from me right before my eyes... I don't like the way you do things, so I'm gonna protect the future and STOP YOU!" The battle has only just begun...
