"Daddy, tell us the story of how Mama saved Galen and Daddy Nate, please." Clara batted her long dark lashes at me as she pulled the blankets over herself and her younger siblings. Erin and Thomas echoed her request, making Sean and I laugh.

"Alright, alright, but you have to go straight to bed after, no more stories tonight, or your mother will have my hide," I grinned. "It was just after your oldest brother was born. There had been a fierce battle where your mother with our help battled a very dangerous and wicked demon. He had trapped hundreds of souls for centuries and hurt lots of people, including your Daddy Nate." I continued with the tale, becoming more animated as I spoke, and maybe adding a few new details too.

I watched as Owen and Sean entranced our children with the events of that fateful day. Even now, it made chills run down my spine, knowing that the loop was never truly broken - at least not for me. Warm hands falling on my stomach made me smile and sigh. "And how are these little ones doing, my eternal?" Nate asked, pressing a kiss to my neck.

"Impatient," I giggled as they kicked their father's hand. "I think they're anxious to meet you in person this time."

Nate shook his head and groaned, "It's all so confusing. I mean first I was dead, then you released our souls, and then all of a sudden you're standing before me, looking exactly like you do in this moment. Seeing you pregnant at this time, just makes it all the more real."

I turned, wrapping my arms around his neck awkwardly as my extended belly came between us. "Hey, don't worry about it, we already know everything turns out okay." I patted my hand over his, "These two rascals are proof of that." He sighed and kissed me. After the kiss broke, he continued to hold me as we listened to the retelling of that day - which in a few hours would become the events of my night. Somehow when I had broken Nikolai's spell it had fractured me. I could bounce between timelines without losing myself or the events of my life. My magic became fully intact once more. In the seconds after Galen vanished, I could see a thousand moments within time and watched the results of what the loss of both my son and Nate would have on all of us. I simply couldn't let it happen.

As if all my moments compressed, I found myself in a sort of limbo watching Nate hold onto Galen. I had no idea at that moment when in time my trip had occurred, and our lives continued as I had used my original magic to bring Nate and Galen back to the physical plane. Of course, both had been changed forever by my actions. Both of them had gained time-traveling abilities and Galen had gained the ability to see and speak with the dead just like Kota, Nate, and Gabe.

Our family defied the magical laws, not only with Galen's birth but then with the birth of Owen's daughter, Clara. A few years later came mine and North's daughter, Erin, and then Kota's son, Thomas. We had returned to their home in Charleston after the time loop spell was destroyed and began to build our lives here.

"Good grief, is Dad telling that story again," Galen groaned as he walked in the back door with Silas and North. He tugged off his work gloves and kissed my cheek, "Hey Mama, how are you feeling?"

Reaching up to ruffle his hair, I grinned, "I'm good, but you need a shower. How do teenagers get so smelly?" He grumbled and rolled his eyes as he grabbed a scone and headed toward the shower.

Nate moved aside as North and Silas enclosed me between them, "Hello, i psychí mou, I missed you," Silas purred in my ear.

"Damn, Gray, you look so sexy when you're pregnant, North growled low, his hips pressing against my ass. "I could just eat you up."

The heat pooled in between my legs as I chuckled, "I'd be pregnant all the time if you nine had any say in it." A chorus of agreement went around the room as Sean and Owen led the younger children up to bed.
