My head is hung low,

But I can hear the whispers,

They're talking about something they don't know,

One of the voices is of my ex partner's.

And there I was hurting,

Because I really thought,

We had "something".

I can't tell if this is a movie or not...

My cries go unheard,

As I'm pushed around,

While I'm trying to heal me broken chords,

And trying harder to stand my ground.

So now I glare at the mouths,

Which talk behind my back,

And voice my opinions out loud,

Because I don't want to be a target for attack.

I've been afraid of,

What everyone else will think,

And I've been hurting enough,

Now I want to be loved by my Prince Charming.
