As the crowd rushed towards the commotion, they were shocked to see what was happening in the cafeteria. Bakugo blurted out, "What the—"
In the midst of a circle of upperclassmen, Deku stood firm, his fists clenched and his jaw tight. His green hair seemed to blaze with resolve, yet there was a hint of doubt in his eyes. The bullies' taunts and jeers sliced through the atmosphere, cruel and derisive."Look at the little cat! Thinks he can be a hero!" one of them sneered, shoving Deku roughly. The force of it sent him stumbling back, but he quickly regained his footing, his cat reflexes kicking in as he landed gracefully on his feet, gritting his teeth.
"Come on, Deku! Just ignore them!" shouted Uraraka from the sidelines, her voice strained with concern. "Yeah, you don't have to prove anything to these losers!" Iida chimed in, adjusting his glasses, his expression a mix of anger and worry.
But Deku wasn't listening. He was already calculating his next move, his mind racing through the possibilities. He wouldn't back down this time. He wasn't going to let them get to him. As he took a step forward, ready to unleash his Quirk, Bakugo pushed his way through the crowd, his signature scowl etched deep into his features. "Oi! Deku, quit it!" he barked, startling everyone. "You think you can handle this alone?"Deku hesitated, his resolve wavering. "But I—""No buts! You've got your classmates for a reason, you idiot!" Bakugo glared at the bullies, his explosive aura flaring up, ready to defend his brother.
Class 1-A began to gather around Deku, forming a protective barrier."Leave him alone!" Kirishima shouted, his voice booming. "You think you can mess with our friend and just walk away?""Yeah! We won't let you push him around!" Sero added, his tape at the ready, prepared to take action if necessary.
The upperclassmen exchanged glances, their confidence faltering in the face of Class 1-A's united front. They had underestimated the bond between these students. "Whatever, we're just having some fun," one of them scoffed, trying to save face. But even he seemed less certain now.Bakugo turned to Deku, crossing his arms. "Stop trying to be the lone hero, Deku. We're a team, remember?" His voice, though gruff, carried a hint of camaraderie.
Deku surveyed his classmates, noting the determination and support etched on their faces, which made his ears perk up. A wave of gratitude and strength washed over him. "You're right," he declared, his voice growing steady. "Together, we are stronger."
The upperclassmen, seeing the unwavering unity of Class 1-A, decided it wasn't worth the trouble. They backed off, muttering under their breaths. The tension in the cafeteria began to dissipate as the crowd slowly dispersed.
Uraraka rushed to Deku's side, her eyes filled with relief. "Are you okay, Deku?"
He nodded, a small smile forming on his lips. "Yeah, thanks to all of you."
Bakugo huffed, turning away. "Don't get all mushy on me, Deku. Just remember, you're not alone."
As the group made their way back to their seats, the bond between them felt stronger than ever. They knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, as friends and heroes.
As the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, Class 1-A made their way to their next class, still buzzing from the cafeteria incident. They were greeted by their homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa, who stood at the front of the classroom with his usual stern expression.
"Take your seats," Aizawa instructed, his voice calm but firm. The students quickly complied, sensing that he had something important to say.
"I heard about what happened in the cafeteria," Aizawa began, his gaze sweeping across the room. "While I'm glad to see you standing up for each other, you need to remember that there are better ways to handle such situations."
Deku, with a blend of pride and remorse, lifted his hand while his cat ears slightly drooped. "Sensei, we didn't intend to cause any trouble, but we couldn't just stand by and do nothing."
Aizawa nodded, his expression softening slightly. "I understand, Midoriya. But as future heroes, you must learn to de-escalate conflicts without resorting to violence whenever possible. Your Quirks are powerful tools, but they should be used responsibly."
Bakugo, arms crossed and scowling, muttered, "We were just defending our own."
"And that's commendable," Aizawa replied, his tone even. "But remember, there are always consequences to your actions. You need to think ahead and consider the bigger picture."
The room descended into silence as the students contemplated Aizawa's words. They recognized the truth in his statement. Their path to heroism encompassed more than just strength and courage; it also demanded wisdom and self-control. This realization inspired Izuku, and he listened intently, his ears perking up.
"Now," Aizawa continued, "let's focus on your training. You'll need to be prepared for anything, and that means honing not just your Quirks, but also your judgment and teamwork."
The students nodded, their resolve renewed. They were ready to learn, to grow, and to become the heroes they aspired to be.
As the class began their training exercises, the bond between them felt stronger than ever. They knew that with Aizawa's guidance and their unwavering support for each other, they could overcome any challenge that came their way.
As the sun dipped below the horizon at U.A. High School, it threw dramatic shadows over the training field where Class 1-A lay scattered, utterly spent from their grueling first day with Aizawa-sensei.
"I can't believe we're still alive!" Mina gasped, stretching her arms theatrically towards the sky.Deku, sporting his feline abilities, had just concluded an epic day of training that would make even a seasoned hero sweat. Under the eagle-eyed supervision of their homeroom teacher, Shouta Aizawa—better known as Eraser Head—the day was a whirlwind of strenuous exercise, team-building shenanigans, and curveballs that pushed them to their limits.
Deku, looking worse for wear with fur tangling from his earlier cat-forms, stumbled out of the training gym, his knees shaking and his spirit momentarily crushed. His best friend, Bakugo, couldn't resist flaunting his usual bravado.
"What's wrong, Deku? Was the training too much for you?" Bakugo teased, crossing his arms and sporting a smug grin.Though his quirk was as volatile as a soda shaken too hard, Deku could always spot the fizzing heart beneath his childhood friend's frosty facade. He knew that deep down, Bakugo shared their mutual goal of becoming a top hero.
"I didn't think it would drain all my energy!" Deku exclaimed, clutching his stomach, heart racing from a mix of exhaustion and excitement.Uraraka, chimed in with her bright laughter. "You did great, though! For your first day, I bet you impressed Aizawa!
Instead of being buoyed by her support, Deku sank closer to the ground. "All I could do was cling to the floor like, like a cat!""Well, you did have that glittering moment in the 100-meter dash!" Ochaco encouraged, winking."Yeah, yeah, I was catapulting around like I was in a comic book or something," he sighed in mock frustration while internally pride swelled in his chest.

As the group finally exited the U.A. gates, the sun dipped low in the sky, painting everything in shades of orange and yellow. Together they trudged home, each carrying their sense of fatigue but excited to return after their first day.
Once home, Deku collapsed onto his bed, the scent of warm sun-kissed laundry wrapped around him like a comforting blanket. Just then, an unsolicited idea hit him; what if I trained with my cat-quirk some more? He hopped up, looking out the window as dusk settled over Musutafu.
Reflecting on his day, he felt a warm sense of belonging with his new acquaintances who already seemed like family. He was content in the knowledge that he had made good friends.
But then, the thought of Uraraka, that sweet, effervescent girl, brought a slight blush to his cheeks.
Deku couldn't help but smile as he thought of Uraraka. Her infectious laughter and unwavering determination always seemed to lift his spirits, no matter how tough things got. He remembered the way her eyes sparkled with excitement whenever she talked about becoming a hero, and how her presence alone made him feel stronger.
Lost in his thoughts, Deku almost didn't notice his mother standing next to him.
Inko gently tapped on his shoulder, startling him.
"AHHHHH!!!" Izuku screamed, falling off the bed in surprise.
"Oh my gosh, Izuku, are you okay?" Inko asked, her voice filled with worry.
"What the heck, Mom? You could have just called me! And yes, I'm fine," Izuku replied, his ears and tail perked up in alertness. He took a deep breath, calming himself down.
Inko sighed, "Young man, I called you many times and you didn't respond. What were you thinking about?"
"Sorry, Mom. Well, I was thinking about..." Izuku's voice trailed off as he rethought his words, his cheeks turning a deep shade of red.
"Oooooo~ I see, my son has a crush!" Inko teased, her eyes twinkling with amusement.
"Mommmmm, stoppppp!" Izuku's blush intensified, his embarrassment evident.
Inko chuckled, walking out of the room while laughing.
Izuku quickly got up and ran after her, his face still flushed with embarrassment.
