.1.

The tranquility of the day was abruptly shattered by the shrill ring of Bakugo's phone. He glanced at the screen, seeing Izuku's name flash, and answered with a gruff, "What?"

"KACCHAN, I GOT INTO UA!!!" Izuku's voice exploded through the speaker, brimming with uncontainable excitement.

Bakugo jerked the phone away from his ear, wincing at the volume. "STOP SCREAMING, DUMBASS!" he barked, though a small smirk tugged at his lips.

Izuku's nervous chuckle followed. "Hehe, sorry Kacchan."

"Whatever," Bakugo grumbled, trying to mask his amusement.

"Did you get your results?! Did you get in?!" Izuku's eagerness was palpable, his words tumbling out in a rush.

"Of course, I got in," Bakugo replied with his usual confidence, as if there had never been any doubt.

"Congratulations, Kacchan!" Izuku's voice was filled with genuine joy for his friend.

To Izuku's surprise, Bakugo's voice softened, "Thanks, Deku. I'm... proud of you."

Izuku blinked, stunned into silence for a moment. "Kacchan... did you just—"

"Don't make me repeat it, nerd!" Bakugo snapped, though there was no real bite in his words.

"I have to go now," Izuku said reluctantly, not wanting the moment to end.

"Fine," Bakugo responded curtly.

"Bye, Kacchan," Izuku said warmly, his affection clear.

"Bye, nerd," Bakugo replied, a rare hint of a smile in his voice.

As they hung up, the excitement of their shared achievement lingered in the air, a silent promise of the adventures to come.

Izuku dashed down the stairs, excitement bubbling over as he rushed to share the news with his mother, Inko.

"Mom, I got into UA!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with joy.

Inko's eyes widened with happiness. "Oh my gosh, Izuku! I'm so happy for you!" she said, pulling him into a tight hug.

Izuku hugged her back, feeling her scratch behind his ears. "Congratulations," she whispered.

Izuku purred softly, "Thanks, Mom."

They broke the hug, and Izuku's eyes sparkled with excitement. "I'm going to Kacchan's house to celebrate!"

"Okay, enjoy and be safe," Inko replied, smiling warmly.

"Yes, Mom. Bye!" Izuku called out as he ran out the door.

"Bye!" Inko waved.

Izuku sprinted towards Bakugo's house, eager to share the good news with his friend. He reached the door and knocked eagerly.

Mitsuki opened the door and greeted him with a smile. "Oh, hi Izuku!"

"Hi, Auntie! Where's Kacchan?" Izuku asked, beaming.

"He's in his room," Mitsuki said, stepping aside to let him in.

"Thanks, Auntie!" Izuku said, dashing towards Bakugo's room.

"KACCHAN!" he called out, transforming into a cat and leaping into Bakugo's arms.

Bakugo caught him, startled. "OMG, WHAT THE HELL, DEKU! YOU SCARED ME TO DEATH!"

Izuku let out a playful meow, and Bakugo sighed, "Ughhhhh."

Izuku transformed back into a human, his excitement bubbling over. "LET'S CELEBRATE!" he shouted.

"STOP SHOUTING, NERD" Bakugo grumbled.

Izuku chuckled and grabbed Bakugo's arm, dragging him outside. "Hehe, come on!"

"Stop dragging me, you cat," Bakugo protested.

Mitsuki watched them with a smile. "Have fun, you two."

"We will, Auntie. Bye!" Izuku called back as they left.

They spent the day celebrating their dreams coming true, visiting their tree house, the park, and a café.

Three days later, their uniforms arrived, and they got ready for school.

"Bye, Mom!" Izuku said, waving as he left.

"Bye, Izuku. Have a nice day!" Inko replied.

Izuku walked to Bakugo's house, finding him waiting outside. "Sorry, Kacchan, for being late," he said, his ears drooping.

Bakugo noticed and shrugged. "Whatever, I just got out of the house now," he said, scratching behind Izuku's ear.

Izuku purred, his ears perking up and his tail wagging. "Okay!"

"Let's go," Bakugo said.

They started walking towards UA.

"Wanna race there? The winner gets their favorite food!" Izuku suggested.

"HELL YE—" Bakugo began, but Izuku had already transformed into a cat and started running.

"OI, YOU GOT A HEAD START!" Bakugo shouted, sprinting after him.

Izuku sprinted ahead, his cat form giving him a swift advantage. Bakugo pushed himself to catch up, determined not to lose. They raced through the streets, laughter and shouts echoing as they neared UA.

Izuku reached the gates first, transforming back into a human with a triumphant grin. "I win! Looks like you owe me katsudon, Kacchan!"

Bakugo panted, catching his breath. "You cheated, you damn cat," he muttered, but there was a hint of a smile on his face.

They walked through the gates of UA, excitement and nerves mingling in the air. The campus was bustling with students, all eager to start their journey to becoming heroes.

As they entered their classroom, they were greeted by familiar faces and new ones. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation.

The classroom buzzed with excitement as everyone gathered around Izuku, bombarding him with questions. "What's your quirk?" "Can we pet your ears?" The barrage of inquiries soon became too much for Izuku, and he started to feel overwhelmed.

Bakugo, noticing Izuku's distress, stepped in. "LEAVE HIM ALONE, EXTRAS! CAN'T YOU SEE YOU'RE OVERWHELMING HIM?" he barked, his voice cutting through the chatter.

In a flash, Izuku transformed into a cat and leaped onto Bakugo. With a sigh, Bakugo caught him and began scratching behind his ears, calming him down. "Tch," he muttered, but his actions were gentle.

Izuku purred contentedly and slowly fell asleep in Bakugo's arms. Bakugo glared at the crowd. "Make a sound, and you're dead," he warned, his eyes daring anyone to defy him.

The classroom was as quiet as a library during finals; nobody dared to disturb Izuku's slumber, lest they face Bakugo's wrath. As the clock hit 8, Aizawa shuffled in, oblivious to the earlier drama, his entrance marked by the rustle of his iconic yellow sleeping bag. The silence was so unusual, it had the students questioning if Aizawa was their teacher or a sleepy caterpillar. Rubbing his eyes and stifling a yawn, Aizawa managed a groggy "Good morning, 1-A," as he emerged from his cocoon.

"Good morning, Sensei," the class chorused back, their voices a mix of curiosity and respect.

The man introduced himself, "The name's Shota Aizawa, also known as the underground pro hero Eraserhead. I will be your homeroom teacher for the next three years. Now, go change into your training uniforms."

Uraraka raised her hand, looking puzzled. "What about the orientations?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Before Aizawa could respond, Bakugo interjected with a smirk, "It's his class, his rules, roundface."

Aizawa smirked at Bakugo's comment, thinking to himself, Nice move. Hmm, but one student is missing. He then barked, "NOW SCRAM!"

The students hurriedly ran out of the classroom, all except for Izuku and Bakugo. Aizawa noticed and thought, I wonder why bakugo is still here.

Bakugo, with a mischievous grin, created a small explosion in his hand. Izuku, startled, freaked out and jumped to the ceiling. Aizawa blinked at the scene, his expression unreadable.

Aizawa's gaze shot upwards to the ceiling, his eyes widening in astonishment as a thought struck him. A cat?!

Bakugo couldn't contain his laughter, doubling over as he clutched his sides. Meanwhile, Izuku leaped down from his perch, hissing at Bakugo before transforming back into his human form. "WHY THE HECK DID YOU DO THAT?!"

Bakugo smirked, still chuckling. "For fun."

Standing up, Bakugo motioned towards the door. "Let's go," he said, walking out of the classroom.

Izuku looked around, confused. "Huh? Go where?" He noticed the classroom was empty and turned to Aizawa. "OMG, I AM SO SORRY, SENSEI!" he exclaimed, before dashing out of the room.

Aizawa watched him go, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Problem child 1 and problem child 2," he muttered to himself, before heading out to the training ground.

After changing into their training uniforms, the students of Class 1-A gathered at the training ground, buzzing with anticipation. Aizawa, their stern yet caring teacher, stepped forward to address them.

"Let's do a quick quirk apprehension test," Aizawa announced, his voice tired but authoritative. "I'll give you a few tasks so we can define a basic ranking."

He paused, scanning the eager faces before him. "Keep in mind, some of you are not inclined to quirks with physical attributes, so don't think of it too much."

Aizawa then turned his attention to Bakugo, the fiery student who had secured the top spot in the entrance exam. "First place on the entrance exam, Bakugo. You'll be first," he said, tossing a tennis ball to him.

Bakugo caught the ball with a confident smirk. "Told you, Deku, I will be the first," he boasted, glancing at Izuku.

Izuku chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

The rest of Class 1-A observed the exchange with a blend of curiosity and bewilderment. "What the heck is happening here? I'm so confused," Kaminari blurted out, echoing the common bewilderment.

Bakugo turned back to Aizawa. "What do I have to do?"

"Use your quirk to toss it as far as you can," Aizawa instructed.

Bakugo's eyes lit up with determination. "DIE!!!" he shouted, activating his quirk. He charged an explosion on the palm of his right hand, wound up his arm, and threw the ball with all his might. A deafening blast echoed through the training ground as the ball rocketed out of sight.

Aizawa checked the distance on his device. "705.2 meters... not bad," he remarked.

Bakugo smirked, satisfied with his performance.

Aizawa then turned to the next student. "Second place, Izuku Midoriya," he said, tossing another ball to him. The test continued, each student eager to prove their abilities.

Izuku's eyes sparkled with excitement. "This is so cool!" he exclaimed. He caught the ball and walked towards the front of the class. As he activated his quirk, his hair turned black, his eyes dark green, and his sclera light green. His ears became longer and pointy, and his tail grew longer and fluffier.

Aizawa, their teacher, couldn't help but be impressed. "Damn kid, 1050 meters," he announced.

The rest of Class 1A was stunned. "WHAT!!!" they shouted in unison.

Bakugo, never one to whisper, bellowed, "QUIET DOWN, YOU SIDE CHARACTERS!" while his palms sparked with miniature blasts.

Izuku quickly reverted to his normal form, his face flushed with embarrassment. "OMG, I am so sorry about that, Kacchan," he said, bowing repeatedly, his ears drooping.

Uraraka scratched her head and smiled reassuringly. "It's fine, Deku-kun."

Izuku blushed slightly, his ears perking up. "Thanks " he said softly. He walked back to his previous position and stood beside Bakugo.

Bakugo nudged him and whispered, "Someone's got a crush."

"Shut up, Kacchan," Izuku muttered, his face turning even redder.

The rest of their classmates took their turns, participating in various activities like the 50-meter dash, grip strength tests, and side steps. Izuku scored slightly above Bakugo in all of them, ending up in first place while Bakugo came in second.

Before dismissing the class, Aizawa instructed, "Before you all go, introduce yourselves."

One by one, everyone introduced themselves. When it was Bakugo's and Izuku's turn, Bakugo went first. "Katsuki Bakugo, quirk: explosions."

Izuku followed. "I am Izuku Midoriya. You can call me deku. My quirk is Neko. I have two forms. This is my normal form, and when I activate my quirk, my appearance changes. I have claws made of Arcanium, a rare metal that is very strong and sharp like tungsten, and I have night vision."

Kirishima was moved. "Wow, so manly," he said, shedding manly tears.

Kaminari chimed in, "It's so cool!"

Mina, ever curious, asked, "Are you single?"

Iida was quick to reprimand her. "Mina, that is highly disrespectful. You can't ask such private questions."

Izuku, slightly embarrassed, replied, "It's fine, Iida-kun. And yes, I am single."

Bakugo snickered. "He's not going to stay single for long."

"KACCHAN!!!" Izuku shouted, blushing furiously.

Aizawa muttered under his breath, "No loud blondes."

Jirou, overhearing, snickered. "Well, well, someone has become sensei's favorite."

Aizawa's glare silenced Jirou instantly, causing everyone to burst into laughter. Clearing his throat, Aizawa dismissed the class, "You are dismissed for now. Go have your lunch and prepare for classes in the afternoon." With that, he walked away.

Mina turned to the group, "Do y'all wanna get lunch together? I heard the food here is amazing!"

"That would be lovely," Momo agreed.

"Yeah!" Kirishima chimed in.

"I'm up for it," Kaminari added.

"Mhm!" Uraraka nodded.

"Sure," Jirou smiled.

"Okay," Izuku said.

Iida, ever the advocate for unity, declared, "Bonding is an important part of our lives together!"

Bakugo, less enthusiastic, muttered, "Whatever."

The students headed to the cafeteria and grabbed their trays of food. Kirishima spotted an empty seat and called out, "Hey Bakugo, there's an empty seat here!"

"Why should I care, Shitty Hair?" Bakugo retorted.

"Come on, Kacchan, don't be like that. Sit down with us," Izuku urged.

"Tsk, fine," Bakugo grumbled.

"I'll get my meal, be right back. Uraraka, can you save my seat, please?" Izuku asked.

"Sure!" Uraraka replied.

"Thanks," Izuku said as he headed to the lunch rush stand.

Uraraka turned to Bakugo, "For how long have you known each other, Bakugo?"

"Huh?" Bakugo responded, caught off guard.

"You and Deku-kun," Uraraka clarified.

"Since we were little," Bakugo replied.

"Was he always like this?" Mina asked, curious.

"Since the day he was born, why're y'all asking me? You can just ask him," Bakugo said, slightly annoyed.

Suddenly, a commotion erupted nearby. The students ran towards the sound, shocked by what they saw.
