Episode 6: The Rise And Fall Of Our Dreams

Pacific's tapped a perfectly manicured nail to her chin in thought. Now how will I get that Museum.... She hummed in her head.

Snapping her fingers, an idea came to mind. As much as I don't want to, I'm gonna have to ask HIM for help.

Picking up her work phone she quickly dialed a number. Once the person on the other line picked up she could hear them introducing themselves, although she didn't pay much attention.

"Yes, Gideon, I need your help with something."

Gideon sat back in his office chair and stretched his arms, tired from a night of candy and monsters. Yeah, that was a crazy night. Remembering how easily that monster could've crushed Mabel's delicate body caused him to shudder.

As if on cue, his telephone rang, distracting him from his thoughts.

"Gideon Northwest speaking."

"Yes," the familiar voice on the other line said, "Gideon, I need your help with something."

"What do you want, Pleasure?" He replied icily, not in the mood for her games.

"Well, all I need is to have a little looksies at that Journal of yours and then I promise to give it back."

"What for? I can't just give it to you without a good reason."

"Well, I just need it to help me take care of little gnat."

Gideon's eye twitched. "That's not a good reason."

Pacifica's voice seemed to rise in squeaky desperation. "Wait! What if you're there while I look through it?  I just need it for a couple of seconds! I'll give right back to you afterwards!"

Gideon put a finger to his chin in thought. "...Fine. But you absolutely must give it back afterwards. You know you won't be able to escape with it."

Pacifica let out a breath, her composure returning.. "Of course. I'll come over right away. Thank you, Gideon."

The line went dead and Gideon put it down so fast it seemed as though it had burned him.

"I better not regret this." He said to himself, disgust evident in his voice.

Pacifica had gotten there five minutes afterwards, due to Gravity Rises' size. She was nothing but calm on the outside, but on the inside she was writhing with terrible thoughts.

Gideon had greeted her the front gate. "Alright, Pleasure, let's get this over with." He handed over the book and tapped his foot expectantly, his cape swaying in beat with his foot.

"Oh, why aren't we going inside?" She asked, confused.

"Do you seriously think I'd let a menace like you in my mansion?" He sneered.

"Look who's talking." Pacifica replied calmly, flipping through the large book. After about three or so minutes she stopped at a page.

"Perfect." She whispered, taking a mental photo of it with her amulet.

"Thanks for the assistance, Gideon." She closed the book right after she was finished with it, making sure Gideon didn't know what she was up to. Pacifica knew that his little crush would get in the way of her plans.

Dropping the book into Gideon's waiting arms, she walking back to her tent.

Bringing the image she wanted to the front of her mind, Pacifica read it over once again in satisfaction. She only needed one thing—something to draw with—and she naturally had it.

With a snap of her fingers, she used her amulet to levitate a brush and purple paint into her hand. Obviously the snap wasn't needed, but she likes some flair. That's probably why she liked Dipper so much.

Taking it outside she started to use her powers to draw a purple circle in the snow. Her plan was ingenious. It would get Dipper to love her in one and Mabel dead in the other.

Another circle inside of that one. She was killing two birds with one stone.

Some lines into the space outside of the smaller circle. Dipper would finally realize how terribly evil Mabel was and come running to Pacifica, apologizing that he ever doubted that she was his true love.

Nest were symbols, a pine tree and shining star on opposite ends of the spectrum. This time, Gideon wouldn't get in the way.

Next was a triangle. She would be able to not only crush Dipper's view of Mabel, but also Gideon's little crush on her.

A couple of brick-like patterns. With the Museum she would be able to find those other Journals he was talking about.

Flimsy arms and legs. Then all of the Society Of The Crescent Eye's problems would be solved.

A top hat. They would be able to fully summon him into this world, not like what Pacifica was doing right now.

And and all-seeing eye. They would finally let Lord Cipher be free.

A bright light exploded to clearing and Pacifica started babbling no nonsense words.

"EGASSEM SDRAWKCAB EGASSEM SDRAWKCAB EGASSEM SDRAWKCAB!"
