Explanation:

Dipper: Mason Star. He is a famous idol and lives with his mother (She legally changed his sir name to her maiden name.) He is obsessed with his hair and keeping clean. He lives for music. After a series of very unfortunate events he found himself in Gravity Falls where he discovers he has a twin sister (Mabel) that his mom never told him about. He's a pure hearted guy, but because of his show biz habits he tends to come off as stuck up.

Mabel: Mabel Pines. She is still her same old self. She isn't obsessed with sweaters anymore though. Instead she is obsessed with fashion and making her own clothes. She even likes to up cycle.

Stan: Stanley Pines. He's no longer a con-man in this AU. He's still grumpy & laid back though. He tends to just let life happen. (He fell through the portal in this AU.)

Ford: Stanford Pines. He made it into his dream college in this AU and is a professor at Gravity Falls University and does his own Science experiments at home. He is a total hermit when not at work though. He feels bad about the accident that sent Stan away, but doesn't have enough motivation to fix it. He just sees himself as a screw up.

Gideon: Gideon Gleeful. He is a magician. He uses a magic stone he found in the woods to do his magic by hiding it inside his fake magic wand. He has a huge crush on Mabel, but is to scared to say anything, opting to just be happy being by her side as a friend.

Pacifica: Pacifica Trembly. She is a sporty and outdoorsy tomboy. She is more then willing to get in a fight, especially to keep her friends safe. She is often seen with a stick or leaf sticking out of her hair & her favorite baseball bat.

Wendy: Wendy Corduroy. She hales from Taxes and never once lost that accent. She is a true bonafide country girl. She lives for fun, but is down to earth & hard working.

Robbie: Robert Valentino. He's the bad-boy of town and is often seen on his motorcycle. He can see strait though BS & doesn't take it lightly.

Soos: Jesus Hernandez. He still works at the shack and is the one fixing the portal. He is a football athlete and actually followed Stan to Gravity Falls when Stan was trying to patch things up with Ford. (Yes he still idolises Stan.)

McGucket: Fiddledord McGucket. He was a professor at Gravity Falls University, but went missing years ago. He wrote the Journals. (He went missing because of an evil force that he's on the run from.... PHIll.)

Waddles: He's a cat in this AU & is named Cuddles. (He's actually a RARE male calico.)

Gompers: He's a dog in this AU and named Valkry. (He is also a she in this AU and Pacifica's pet Siberian Husky.)

Phill: Phill Cypher. He's Bill's alternate, Kinda..... More will be explained in the story I'm writing for the AU.

Candy: Candice Northwest. She is the spoiled Northwest brat in this AU and has an amulet that gives her powers.

Grenda: Grenda Gleeful. She follows Candy around being the meanest of the two. She is also Gideon's cousin.

Nate: Nathaniel Beck. He is the cool skater guy. He loves fun & tends to be very mellow.

Lee: Lee Doe. He works at a car garage and likes making his own vehicles from scratch.

Thompson: Thompson Helen. He works at the music store and is actually the coolest guy in town. He is muscular and well built.

Tambree: Tambree Rivers. She is a big nature lover and loves to listen to music. The soft kind. She actually doesn't like technology to much. She finds it to be to distracting.
