Hello guys I am a fairly new writer so please respect the writing I would appreciate it. Also if you like the story rate me on how I did. Anyway enough of me let's get to the story.

It was July 28 just a normal day in Piedmont California as Dipper and Mabel were enjoying their last few weeks of summer (no they didn't go to gravity falls this year because of some project for school that would take all summer to do). Dipper had been done with his project for a few days now unfortunately Mabel didn't start till that morning so as the brains of the twins Dipper had no choice but to help her. "Dipper this is to hard why couldn't we just go to gravity falls this year again like we normally do" cried Mabel. "Mabel you know how hard that project was it took ME all summer to finish it, I'd never have had it done with all the mysteries in gravity falls." Explained dipper. "Uhh" groaned Mabel. "Kids" cried their mom. "Coming" the twins replied in unison. As the twins ran down the stairs they both knew something was wrong, their parents wouldn't call them down this late at night (by the way it is like 10:45 at night) "yes mom, what would like from your favorite child of all" Mabel said sweetly. "Hahaha your so funny Mabel" exclaimed their mother but after that she went into her discouraged face. "Mom what's wrong" asked dipper frightened. "Your father was killed in an accident and with my job at minimum wage I can't afford to protect you kids" their mother said as tears started to swell up in her eyes. "So what's gonna happen to us" asked Mabel starting to tear up. "I'm sending you kids to live with your grunkles Stanley and Stanford" (yes their mother now knows about Stanford but doesn't know about the name swap). "Really YEAH YEAH YEAH" happily shouted Mabel. Dipper however was still in shock after hearing his father's death, hopefully he would forget about it soon. After the news the twins decided to get to bed because the morning was going to be long and exhausting from packing up and moving.
The next day
"Mabel are you almost done packing you've dug in your closet sevral timez (see what I did there). "Almost done dipper just give me ten more minutes". "You said that ten minutes ago" groaned dipper. After an hour of digging through her closet Mabel finally finished packing making sure she had all her sweaters. "Done" screamed mabel, even people across the street could hear her scream. "Just in time to the moving truck is here" rejoicefully exclaimed dipper. As the twins stuffed the moving truck with their luggage they hopped in their car and drove off to gravity falls.
