Rick was preparing the portal gun when Morty finally decided to ask. "Rick where are we going first?"

"Well, Morty since you have to know we're doing a crossover. But Ford set up some kind of shield so I can't directly get into his dimension, so we have to hop a couple dimensions. Anyways Morty just calm the f*** down. Oh right censoring..."

"Rick nothing you just said made any sense," Morty told him.

"Morty shut the f*** up and enjoy this moment! We're doing a crossover! It's even canon! On Adult Swim only but Disney won't let me say f***! Let's just get through the AUs and leave!" Rick fired the portal gun and jumped through.

"God damn it." Morty sighed and he jumped through as well.

Ford had called for a family meeting in the basement so Dipper, Mabel, Stan, and Soos all waited for him to begin telling them what he needed to say.

Ford wheeled a cart out, the cart had something hidden under a cloth. Ford pulled the cloth away to reveal a gun with a small glass dome that was glowing green."Everyone I'd like to reveal my newest invention! The Portal Gun! It takes the power of the portal but removes the instability! It's also really convenient."

"Gruncle Ford why would you ever make a Portal Gun?" Dipper asked.

"I'm glad you asked Dipper. See now that Bill is finally gone for good I figured I might as well give you all a tour of some of the better parts of my journeys through the multiverse." Ford replied.

"We're going on an adventure through multiverses?" Mabel asked giddily.

"Dude that sounds awesome! Let's go to one where chairs are people!" Soos said.

Stan grunted. "I don't like the sound of this."

"There's a dimension where gambling is their primary focus and their currency is gold."

"I'm sold!"

"Well then everyone, let's go on an interdimensional field trip!" Ford said, he fired the gun creating a green portal and they all walked through. Just as the portal closed another opened and Rick and Morty walked out.

"God damn it we missed them, Morty! I knew we shouldn't have spent so much time in the Adult Mabel Clone AU!" Rick shouted in frustration.

Morty was shacking and looked scarred for life. "S-s-so much b-badness."

"Yes we get it, Morty, Pinecest is disgusting now come on we need to find them!" Rick shot another portal below them and they fell in.

Ford and the others found themselves in a dimension where cats actually rained from the sky.

"Shoot I wanted to avoid this one!" Ford sighed as everyone hid under cover.

"I mean I like cats as much as anyone but falling from the sky, no thank you!" Mabel stated.

"Let's get to the gambling dimension!" Stan insisted.

"In time Stanley."

Dipper shouted and shooed a cat away. "Really let's leave." Ford nodded and opened up a new portal which the group went into.

They continued their interdimensional tour, coming across a dimension where chairs were the dominant species.

Ford hastily pushed everyone into the next portal, claiming he didn't want to fight that couch again.

"Welcome to the only alternate universe I feel comfortable taking you kids to," Ford said.

Mabel tilted her head. "What's an alternate universe?"

"It's a universe similar to our own where different things happen. Such as Mabel never giving Bill the Interdimensional Rift." Ford explained.

Just then Dipper, Mabel, and a humanoid blue robot ran in front of the Mystery Shack.

"What do we do Megaman?" Alternate Universe Mabel asked the robot.

"Don't worry! I just need to defeat Sheep Man and then we can take out Dr. Willy!" Megaman replied.

Alternate Universe Dipper stared at him. "Why not just take out Dr. Willy now?"

"I need the power up!" Megaman replied.

"Ford, what the heck is this?" Dipper asked.

"Oh my God it's Megaman! He's super cool, you should've seen him back in the glory days!" Soos gawked. "I've played all of his games and they're amazing!"

"What's some video game character doing in Gravity Falls?" Stan asked.

"Better question," Mabel interjected. "Is he single?"

"Well, actually I'm not sure," Ford answered.

"But I am," Dipper said. "This must've been some kind of alternate possibility when Rumble McSkirmish appeared in the arcade."

"How have I never heard that story?" Ford asked.

Dipper shrugged. "Never came up."

"Now can we please go gambling?" Stan requested.

"Alright fine Stanley." Ford sighed and he fired the portal gun, the group walked through the portal just as Rick and Morty appeared.

"There they are! You're not getting away from me you a**hole!" Rick shouted, charging at the portal. The portal closed right before he could ump through it.

"Where the heck are we?" Morty wondered. "Anyways this is supposed to be my adventure, Rick. Let's go visit Snuffles or something! It's better than watching you chase down someone nobody even knows."

Rick groaned. "Morty please shut up! We'll do your stupid thing later! God, I never should've regenerated your mouth."

"What?"

"Exactly my point. If you don't shut up Morty I'm going to f***ing leave you for dead! Now let's go." Rick fired the portal gun again and he walked through the portal, Morty sulked behind him. "Stupid waste of a punch card."

Stan was beating everyone in the gambling dimension and somehow wasn't even cheating. Ford refused to allow the kids to gamble and Soos was just trying to find the bathrooms.

"Gruncle Ford, can't we go to the Hot Guys dimension?" Mabel requested.

Ford chuckled. "We'll keep exploring once your friend gets back from the bathroom. If he can ever find them."

Just then Rick and Morty arrived in the dimension, Rick saw Ford and took aim with his gun.

"Hey Ford, here catch some of my gold!" Stan shouted, tossing Ford a gold bar.

Ford stumbled back as he caught it making Rick barely miss.

"Are you kidding me! Alright come on Morty let's go murder some old people and children!" Rick said, making his way towards the Pines Family.

"Just another adventure." Morty sighed and he followed Rick.

Ford had noticed the shot barely miss him and was now quickly trying to gather everyone up and leave. He found Soos wandering around in a circle and yanked Stanley away from his game then he fired the portal gun and threw them all in, but this time Rick and Morty were close enough to make it through the portal right before it closed.

The Pines group all turned and demanded Ford answer their questions.

"Why did you pull me out of there I didn't even collect most of my gold!"

"Why are you in such a rush Ford?"

"I never found the bathroom!"

"I swear I saw a bullet fly by, is someone after you great uncle Ford?"

"The kids just wanted to leave and I decided to take action is all." Ford lied, visibly shaking.

Just then Rick and Morty charged through the portal. "There you are, Ford! Time to eat dogsh**!" Rick screamed and he punched Ford across the face.

Commercial.

"What is going on?" Stan demanded.

"Rick, how did you even find me?" Ford asked, recovering from the punch.

"Rick? You mean like the guy Bill was putting on a play for?" Dipper asked, Morty, looked at him and shrugged.

"My stupid grandson demanded I take him on a tour through the dimensions and I thought I'd get my revenge while I was at it!" Rick shouted then he kicked Ford in the chest. Ford responded by backhanding Rick and launching him backward.

"Time to die a**hole!" Rick began firing bullets at Ford, who pulled out a shield that blocked them all.

"Why does he keep cursing?" Mabel asked, covering her ears.

"So I wasted my one out of eight adventures on Rick fighting another old guy?" Morty asked sighing.

"You go on adventures?" Dipper asked. Morty and Dipper then began to exchange stories about their genius relatives as a way to ignore the fight going on.

Rick took out two machine guns and began firing them while Ford ducked for cover and tossed a grenade. The grenade exploded and unleashed a giant electric eel that swam through the air towards Rick.

Rick unsheathed a lightsaber and cut the eel in half, but was then grabbed by a whip that picked him up and threw him into a wall.

Rick stood up moaning when suddenly a zombie jumped out at him. Rick stabbed it with the lightsaber and ran away. Everyone took in their surroundings and were disturbed by what they saw.

The location was very clearly Dipper and Mabel's hometown, but everything was destroyed and looked like it took place in a dystopian film. Then they noticed the zombies. Horrid monsters that looked nothing like the one's Dipper and Mabel had seen before.

The world was truly a horrible sight to behold.

"Ford... where are we?" Mabel asked.

"It appears we're in... Zombie Falls. In this universe, a zombie outbreak struck before you two were going to visit Stanley last summer. I'm not sure where the two of you in this dimension are right now. It's really not a good idea to stay here." Ford explained.

"I'm not afraid of a few zombies. This fight isn't over Ford!" Rick shouted.

"Rick, why are you even trying to murder them?" Morty asked.

"How about you explain Ford? I'm too busy trying to think of ways to murder you." Rick said.

"Well I'd just been thrown into the portal and I needed someone smart to help me stop Bill, I didn't really understand how the alternate universes worked at the time so I couldn't find Fiddleferd just yet. I stumbled upon Rick and after a run-in with Bill, he agreed to help me. Unfortunately, he actually was working with Bill and trying to trick me. I managed to figure it out before he betrayed me so I quickly left a bomb in his house and made a run for it with what research I had. Ever since he and Bill have been plotting to take over the multiverse on different sides. They just had to take out one common enemy, me."

"But then you had to go and get Bill permanently destroyed! F*** you Ford!" Rick punched Ford across the face but Morty shoved Rick away from him.

"Rick I don't care what crazy stupid thing you did, you're going to leave this family alone. They've been through enough craziness and you can just but out of their lives!" Morty said.

"I'm not letting this mid-season finale go out without something more than you standing up to me Morty!" Rick then took aim at Ford but a zombie bit his arm when he pulled the trigger, making his bullet fly into Ford's arm.

"Ah!" Ford cried, clutching his arm. Everyone rushed to his side except Morty who ran to Rick's.

"Rick, you have some kind of zombie cure right? Right, Rick?" Morty asked.

"Morty of course I do! Why would I stay in a zombie dimension if I couldn't cure a zombie attack!" Rick shouted. "We just gotta go home and it'll all be fine." Rick took out his portal gun but he had forgotten about the zombie which then destroyed that. "F***!" He stabbed the zombie with his lightsaber and stood.

"Alright Ford my portal gun's been destroyed, I'm turning into a zombie, I want to murder you, and you've been shot. I have a solution to everyone's problems. You take us to my home and I not murder you and fix your arm." Rick said.

Ford sighed. "Fine. But let's get something clear, you still owe me. Which means if I call in a favor, you have to answer."

Rick groaned. "Fine! Let's just go before the zombie bite makes what's left of my brain turns to mush."

Ford fired the portal gun and everyone went through it, they ended up in Rick's lab. He grabbed some vials and mixed them together and then drank it. He handed another to Ford who took it, immediately his wound vanished.

"Well, I guess everything worked out," Mabel said.

"I hate these stupid crossovers. Just leave Ford." Rick said.

Ford was about to fire the portal gun but he paused. "Rick, I know there's a lot more to you then you let on. I respect you quite a bit for just doing whatever you want to. I don't really want a favor or anything like that, I just want you to know: I think we could be pretty great friends."

"In your f***ing dreams!" Rick tossed something at Ford and he caught it.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye, thanks for helping us out Morty," Dipper said.

"It was no problem guys. Nice to actually do some good for once. See you guys later!" Ford fired the portal gun and everyone walked through it. "You know Rick, I think Ford was right. You guys would be great friends."

"Go f*** yourself Morty," Rick said and Morty left the lab.

Everyone returned home and went back upstairs urgently stating that a new, the mid-season finale, Ducktective was on. Dipper had convinced Archer to watch the show ironically but he had spent the entire past few days watching the entire series and was now upstairs waiting for them.

Ford was the only one who lingered behind, he looked at the object Rick had thrown at him. It was a crumbled up piece of paper. He uncrumpled it and it said one word. Yes.

Mr. PoopyButthole walked onto the stage. "Well, I guess the musical was canceled, also just so everyone knows we're doing a really long break until Episode Eleven. This show wouldn't be returning until February! Rick's coming back though. Don't waste your lives waiting and do better stuff! Also thanks to OliviaMaePalmer for letting us use the setting of her story Zombie Falls! I'm still waiting to see what happens to Mabel! Season Five isn't happened! Alright, now we're getting cut short bye!"
