Episode Eleven 'Giddy for You.'
Gideon was walking home after a long day of 'being average' and found himself completely exhausted.
Lurking in the shadows was a mysterious figure, snarling with his red eyes in view.
"Oh my, it does appear that I'm still a ways from home. I sure wish I'd picked up this skateboarding thing by now." Gideon sighed. He had his skateboard with him but he was no good with it.
Suddenly Gremoblicorn emerged from the shadows and approached Gideon. "Hello there Gideon. I see you have a few struggles. Well if you were to hear me out, I could surely make your problems... disappear."
Gideon had already turned and ran down the street. "AHHHHHH!"

The Pines Family was gathered together around some sort of board game in the middle of the living room.
A set of die hit a board and landed on a strange symbol. "Six of stars! Draw ten!" Archer said, throwing his fist into the air.
Dipper groaned. "You're too good at this Uncle Archer." He drew ten cards from the pile.
They were playing a game called Mook which had a very elaborate amount of pieces and rules.
Ford then put down two cards and tossed another die. "Ten greens! Around the twister, you go Mabel!"
Mabel pouted and moved her piece in a circle. "It's not fair, you guys already know how to play Mook!"
"What dimension is this even from?" Stan asked, clutching the unfolding list of rules. "I can't understand anything about this game!"
Ford shrugged. "Well, Stanley it's quite simple once you get down to it. Mook is all about confusing the other players!"
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, "I'll get it!" Mabel shot up and ran to the door, opening it to find Gideon panting on their front porch. "Gideon?"
"Hello... Mabel... evil monster... tried to..." Gideon panted.
Dipper joined Mabel at the doorway. "What's Gideon doing here?" Mabel shrugged.
"Oh my goodness I thought I was going to pass out. I was walking home and some strange monster walked up to me." Gideon explained after catching his breath.
"Great Uncle Ford!" Dipper called. "There's a monster or something outside!"
Ford leisurely strolled up to the front door and looked down at Gideon. "Well, Dipper I don't think I approve of slinging insults at children." He crossed his arms.
Gideon held his hands up. "No no, I saw a monster. Some terrifying gremlin thing that was every color of the rainbow."
"It must be Gremoblicorn!" Ford snapped his finger. "Where did you see him?"
"A little up the road by the lamppost." Gideon pointed at a lamppost 30 feet down the road.
Dipper facepalmed. "Dude seriously? THAT winded you?"
"Oh be quiet! Not everyone is used to walking and running!" Gideon spat back.
"Haven't you been walking around for the past year?" Mabel asked.
Ford returned from inspecting the area. "I couldn't find him anywhere. Odds are you should be safe to head home small child. Now back to Mook!"
Mabel panicked when she heard that. "Great Uncle Ford why don't I walk Gideon home? Just to be safe?"
Ford shrugged. "Whatever you want. You'll miss out on more Mook though."
"Yeah let's go, Gideon." Mabel marched out of the Mystery Shack and Gideon followed behind her.
Ford sighed. "Well Dipper, we ought to get back to-" Ford then noticed Dipper was nowhere to be found. He groaned and went into the living room.
"These kids just can't appreciate the intricacies of Mook. I guess it's just the three of us." Ford griped.
Archer gestured to the empty seat where Stan was moments prior. "Make that the two of us."
Dipper slipped out of the back of the Mystery Shack and breathed a sigh of relief as he shut the door behind him.
"Hiding from Ford's nerd stuff too kid?" Stan asked, Dipper jumped a mile into the air but then saw his great uncle sitting down on the porch.
Dipper tried his best to play it cool. "Uhm yeah, I mean I like nerd stuff and spending time with great uncle Ford and all but that game is just weird."
Stan grinned. "Welcome to my world kid. I've got a better way for us to waste time anyway." He grabbed an ax from a stump and tossed it at a tree. He hit the tree dead on and brushed his hands together.
"Woah." Dipper marveled. "When did you learn to do that?"
Stan shrugged. "Not sure. I think back when I was out uhm... exploring the world I picked it up. Came in real handy this past year when Ford and I went sailing."
"Oh, that reminds me, what were you guys doing all the way out there anyway?" Dipper asked.
Stan's eyes widened. "Uhm... nothing. We were seeing if we could bring you guys back a penguin for this summer. It didn't work out."
Dipper was about to press the matter further when Stan held up a hand. "Tell you what kid, I'll explain when you're a little older. I mean it, deal?" That seemed to satisfy Dipper.
Stan grabbed the ax from the tree and dropped it in Dipper's hands. "Alright kid, try and throw it into a tree. It takes a bit of practicing but once you get it you can really get places. Or stop others from going places maybe."
While Stan was talking Dipper's robot arm lifted the ax with ease and he tossed it into the tree with perfect accuracy.
"Oh, not bad kid. That robot doohickey on your arm sure is impressive... maybe we could use it for some product testing." Stan grinned like a Cheshire Cat and rubbed his chin.
"What do you mean, gruncle Stan?" Dipper asked.
Stan began to laugh. "Oh, you'll see." Dipper nervously chuckled. "Ok come on I'll show you what I mean." Stan walked away and Dipper followed after him.
Mabel and Gideon walked down the road for a little while. Gideon finally decided to speak up. "So how's your summer been, Mabel?"
Mabel's shoulders went up and down. "It's been pretty good. Plenty weird but at least there haven't been any apocalypses."
"Yeah, I hear your family has still been up to plenty of weirdness though," Gideon said.
Mabel nodded. "Yep! Unfortunately, the only cute weird thing happened to be my uncle so my summer has been pretty dull. Plus Candy and Greta have been out of town so I've basically had nobody to talk to."
"Ah, I see," Gideon said. "Whatever happened to that weird guy living in your house?"
Mabel began to chuckle. "Soos? He still lives with us. So does his Grandma but ever since Stan moved back in she's been avoiding the place as much as possible."
Gideon chuckled. "I wonder what that means."
"I think they're in loooove. Ooh! We should play matchmaker! I haven't done it in so long!" Mabel's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Y'know Mabel, I think that's a darn great idea!" Gideon told her.
Mabel began to walk with a spring in her step. "And once we set them up we have to find somebody to set Ford up with!"
"What about setting you up with somebody?" Gideon suggested.
Mabel seemed to be surprised and stared at Gideon. "Gideon, come on. I want us to be together."

The scene melted away and Gideon and Mabel were back to walking as if the entire conversation had never happened. Gideon looked around frantically from the confusion.
"I could make that a reality. All I need is your help. I can do many things young Gideon." A voice echoed through the woods. But Mabel didn't seem to hear it.
"I can make you skateboard, give you a body with limbs, and give you the girl you've desired for months. All I need is you to help me with one small act." The voice continued. "It's ok, talk. She won't hear."
"I'll never join you demon!" Gideon shouted as the voice had promised Mabel didn't react. "You lie! Just like Bill! I won't fall for your tricks!"
The Gremoblicorn materialized in front of Gideon. "So, you have experience with the Cipher? Well I'll show you I'm true to my word, think of this as a trial run of what my magic can do for you."
He snapped his fingers and Mabel turned to a Gideon with a gleeful smile and dopey eyes. The Gremoblicorn vanished with a laugh.
Gideon gulped. "Mabel, are you feeling any different."
Mabel laughed. "Oh, Gideon you're so funny!" She punched him lightly on the arm. Not breaking eye contact with him.
Gideon shuddered and turned around, putting on a fake smile. "Let's go back to the Mystery Shack."
"Ok. Has anybody ever told you how gorgeous your hair is?" Mabel asked him.
Gideon tried to keep his expression from changing. "Why yes people have. But that is a nice thing to say." He strained his words. "Oh goodness, why must I have to walk so much today?"
Mabel grabbed Gideon's arm. "Let's not go back to the shack. Let's head into town. Maybe we can get dinner and even... hold... hands..." the suggestion nearly broke Gideon. But he took a deep breath.
"I won't fall for demon tricks," Gideon told himself. "I've got to get back to that shack." He looked at his skateboard. "I've only got one choice." Gideon set his skateboard down in front of him and jumped on. He wobbled a bit but held his balance and began speeding off to the Mystery Shack with Mabel following closely behind him.
Dipper and Stan were at the front of the Mystery Shack testing what the robot arm could do and if it would make for a good attraction at the shack.
Dipper was able to lift the golf cart with Stan inside with ease. He could chop blocks of stone in half. And it even made drinks.
"Kid, I think we have us a profitable attraction here!" Stan grinned, thinking of all the money he could make.
"Ooh! What if we advertised me as like a special attraction on the website you have to pay to get into in advance, but then we charge people extra to let them in if they don't pay in advance?" Dipper suggested.
Stan scratched his head. "Website?"
Dipper's jaw dropped. "We don't have a website? Gruncle Stan think of how much easier it'll be to draw people in if they can hear about it from all over the world?"
Stan took in the idea. "The entire world? That's a lot of wallets kid! I like your idea! Maybe you should make it? Seems like you know more about this whole internet thing than I do."
Dipper nodded. "Yeah totally. I might need your help coming up with the best lines to market the stuff with though."
Stan laughed. "Kid why haven't I ever thought of bringing you on as an idea person? You've got a couple of good eggs in that basket." Stan noogied Dipper.
"Well if we're going to trick people we might as well do it right." Dipper joked.
Just then Gideon skateboarded up to them shouting. "Pines! Pines!" Stan was about to punch Gideon when Dipper stopped him.
"Gideon, what are you doing back here? And where's Mabel?" Dipper interrogated. Gideon pointed at Mabel who was running over to them.
"That demon- he used some kind of spell and made her obsessed with me!" Gideon squeaked, pointing at her.
"Obsessed with you? Mabel?" Stan was completely lost.
Dipper's eyes widened. "Something's not right with Mabel gruncle Stan, look at her face."
Mabel was now within earshot of the group. "Hi, Gideon! Y'know I think it's SO great you wanted to meet my family!"
Stan began to gag. "Oh no. The kid's right! FORD!" Birds flew into the sky from their trees.
Ford came rushing outside. "Stanley, what's wrong? Did somebody lose an arm?"
"Worse! Mabel's going after the butterball!" Stan pointed at Mabel frantically. Mabel was swooning over Gideon and he was plugging his ears in case she said anything else.
"I'm going to need a little more information Stanley," Ford said.
"Gremoblicorn must've used his magic to make her all weird. I don't know why though." Dipper theorized.
"I do!" Gideon spoke up. "That demon is trying to recruit me into his evil entourage!"
Ford rubbed his chin. "I'm not entirely sure how to reverse this. I don't have much experience with magic."
Dipper suddenly had an idea. "What if we con the Gremoblicorn?"
"What do you mean?" Ford asked.
Dipper began pacing back and forth. "Like an attraction at the shack! We trick him into showing him something he thinks he wants to see instead of what he actually wants!"
"But... what could possibly trick him?" Ford looked completely lost.
Stan put his hand on Dipper's shoulder. "Leave that to us." They smiled at each other.
Gideon nervously waddled through the woods with Mabel in tow. She hadn't said anything for a while but she just kept staring at him. "Demon! Come out! I want to talk!"
Gremoblicorn appeared in front of him, grinning over the small boy. "Hello, Gideon. I'm guessing I've won you over?"
"Y-yes," Gideon said. "So what is it you want from me?"
Gremoblicorn laughed. "Just a simple task. Capture Dipper Pines. We only need one child for our plans."
"That's it? Why I've done that like three times at this point." Gideon gloated.
"Perfect! Bring him here and your task is complete. Afterward, I will reward you with all your desires." Gremoblicorn promised.
Gideon pointed at Mabel. "First, I want you to fix her. I don't want Mabel like this." Gremoblicorn opened his mouth to say something but Gideon crossed his arms and glared at the mage.
Gremoblicorn sighed and snapped his fingers. Mabel's eyes returned to normal and she looked around. "Wait a second where am I?"
Suddenly Dipped ran out of the woods. "Gideon! What are you doing with Mabel?" He pointed his finger at the boy.
Gideon shielded his face with his hands. "Nothing!" He yelped.
Gremoblicorn grinned and grabbed Dipper by the neck. "Good job Gideon. Faster than I thought." Suddenly Dipper's body began to morph and he transformed into Archer.
Gremoblicorn dropped Archer in surprise and the bounty hunter kicked Gremoblicorn in the stomach and fired an arrow into his arm.
"Agh! Gideon, you will pay for this betrayal!" Gremoblicorn swore before vanishing into the darkness of the forest.
"What just happened?" Mabel asked.
Dipper held his head high. "We tricked that fusion guy."
"I'm going to need a better explanation than that," Mabel replied.
"I'll explain back at the Mystery Shack. Great work uncle Archer!" Dipper gave his uncle a thumbs up. "You too Gideon."
Gideon tried not to grin too much. "Oh, it was nothing. Just a bit of acting!" The group walked back onto the road.
"You think you can get home alright?" Dipper asked.
Gideon nodded. "Yep!" He brandished his skateboard. "I can get home lickity quick! See ya Pines!" With that, Gideon hopped onto his skateboard and rode home.

CREDITS
Gideon sat down on his bed and let out a sigh of relief. Just then a gust of wind blew his windows open. Gideon began to shake.
"Oh no... begone demons!" He said, hiding under his covers.
He waited for some sort of monster to attack him but instead, a book blew into his room. It a blue-colored journal.
Gideon slowly went up to it, shaking furiously. The journal had a 4 on it and Ford's signature six-fingered hand. "Oh my..."
