Faded- Alan Walker
This song was requested by @Dollangangergirl. Thanks for the request! So this parody is about the way Stanley feels after he lost his brother to the portal. The entire song is about regret and despair, although there's a part towards the end where Stanford is rescued, and Stanley's conscience is basically cleared. Let's get on with it, shall we?
Verse 1:
Every single day and night,
I'm reminded
Of the time
You went away
I can't help but wonder was it me?
Was it my fault?
I'm sorry..
Chorus:
The silence is loud
I can't sleep now
I don't know How
To move on, accept reality
I can't sleep now
My dreams have turned nightmare-y
The silence is loud
It's deafening
It's deafening
I can't sleep now
Trapped in a dream
I wish I could go back in time
I screwed up
I screwed up
All my fault, I screwed up
I screwed up
All my fault, I screwed up
Verse 2:
What if I simply can't fix this?
Or even worse-
What if it's already over?
I guess I at least need to try...
To turn the
Machine back on
Chorus:
The silence is loud
I can't sleep now...
Thirty years and now he's back,
The mystery in the Mystery Shack
The silence was loud
The silence was loud
The silence is loud
It's deafening.
It's deafening.
I can't sleep now
Trapped in a dream
I wish I could go back in time
I screwed up
I screwed up
All my fault, I screwed up
I screwed up
All my fault, I screwed up
... That was fun. And slightly depressing. I don't think this was my best parody, but hey! Everyone has off days. Anywho, this Friday I will be posting the rewritten version of Echo, by Jason Walker! Oh, and I've got some good news and bad news. I'll say the bad first.
I'm not going to be animating Death of A Bachelor anymore. What I had in mind was about two frames per second, sometimes three, with only the tiniest bit of difference from frame to frame. The song is three minutes and twenty four seconds long, so if you times that by 2, you get four hundred eight. (I first converted the minutes into seconds, and then added 24, which equals 204.) Even larger, if you times it by three, you get six hundred twelve. Either of those numbers are a LOT of frames for me to draw by hand. In fact, if I were to do ten seconds of the song each day, (in order to finish before school comes around again) it would mean putting in four or five hours EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. which I'm not willing to do. Don't get me wrong, I love drawing, and I someday want to go into animation, but I don't think starting out with something this large is a good idea.
Whew. Got that off of my chest. Now for the good news!
I've been thinking for a while, and I'm on the fence about this- should I start doing rap battles, too? I think those would be fun, but it's all up to you guys! Please comment and tell me what you think! Thanks. GreyJay13 out!
