Devil's Train- The Lab Rats (LAST PART)

PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE A/N. FROM BEGINNING TO END. THANK YOU.

Hey guys. I'm sure you've noticed that the title of this part says that this will be the last. This may be kind of a shock (that's not meant to be sarcastic, I know it sounds like it is, but it's not), I'm going to end this parody book. I won't be writing any more songs, so please don't request any more songs. (More information later.) I've got one last song rewritten here for you guys, and here's my good news: this parody is around six minutes long. This parody was inspired by Marley Mango's PMV she has on YouTube, entitled Bill's Train, using this song. It's pretty great, you should definitely check it out if you have the time.

That being said, the parody is split into three parts, divided up by the choruses. The entire song details Bill's attempts at manipulating someone into giving him what he wants, whether it's a portal, a journal, or something else. The first part is about how Bill tried to manipulate Modoc (Gravity Falls' Native American Shaman from hundreds of years ago) into building a natural portal for him and his friends. Modoc caught on to Bill's tricks in the same way Ford did, and he burned the portal before it could be completed.. he also burned himself. (All of this is hinted at in the canon third journal.) The second part is about Bill and Ford's relationship (the manipulation). It's pretty straightforward, as seen in the show. The third part is about what happened to Dipper and his family after the events in Sock Opera.

I put a lot of work into this parody, more than usual, so I really hope you enjoy it! Leave a comment, tell me what you think! :)

..this wouldn't be a proper GF parody without my trademark disclaimer, though.

THE YOUTUBE VIDEO IS NOT MINE. ONLY MY LYRICS BELONG TO ME.

Verse 1:
The Shaman was a wonderful guy,
In a tribe
Full of dullards who couldn't see
They were blind

Plagued by clouded eyes
They lived out their lives
No one realized that something big
Might've happened

Had the Shaman not gone insane
Lost his brain
Set fire to the blades
Of grass and the twigs

He'd built in a fit
Something he did not know
Would cause him a lot of confusion
And sorrow

Because someone was speaking, inside his mind, they were saying
That he needed to listen closely, he could be laying
Down all the framework for things he could scarcely imagine
How could he have known, that with fire, he was dancing?

It did not take long for the old man to know
That something was not right, he felt it in his bones
If he was hearing things like everybody claimed,
Why would his dreams and his surroundings be so grey and all the same?

"The gateway will...
The gateway will..."

"Be open soon..
Be open soon.."

The voice didn't go away

"The gateway will be open soon...
And then I'll come, to rejoin you."

The Shaman's mind was dragged down into a place
He didn't like the way that everybody seemed so strange
And impatient, it was like they just couldn't wait
For him to hurry up and build, so he could open the gate

Then one day, the Shaman heard the voice in his head
Talking about things that he or anybody would dread
If they ever came to pass, he'd never escape
The demon that had taken root, eye agape
In his head

The wood and leaf triangle the Shaman had built
Was sent up in flames as every last secret was spilt
Before turning the torch to himself, the Shaman declared
That of a single eyed demon, his people should beware

And that was that, the demon tried to salvage
Everything he'd worked for, but Modoc had ravaged
The potential portal, ashes were all that remained
The fire started up by the creature was put out by the rain

"He cannot be trusted, do not utter what follows,
For if you do, you'll be tricked, may not live 'till tomorrow."
Those were the words written inside on the cave wall
Where, long ago, that old Shaman started it all

Chorus:
Ancient incantations, sayings to summon someone
Don't let him in your mind, he will manipulate you
If in your dreams you see a golden glow, it ain't the sun
He'll tell you "Hey there, name's Bill, and it's nice to meet you"

Ancient incantations, sayings to summon someone
Don't let him in your mind, he will manipulate you
If in your dreams you see a golden glow, it ain't the sun
He'll tell you "Hey there, name's Bill, and it's nice to meet you"

Verse 2:
I graduated college, then went off on my own
So I could forge my own path, and set it in stone
Always interesting, with weirdness all around me
It was my own foolishness and intrigue that had bound me

I just had to know, and I couldn't leave town,
Tried to see what was going down
But I couldn't figure out
Just what it was about this place
That my mind and my heart just couldn't escape
That was when I regressed
Wasn't making any progress

Then one day, I happened upon an ancient cave
Read the writing on the wall, I wondered what did it say?
Curses warned that I shouldn't read aloud, or I would pay
But I wanted answers, and like a fool I did it anyway

Later, I had a dream, a muse, a monster, passed me by
I'll never forget those first words of his: Hiya, Smart Guy!
Seemed harmless enough, but he had a silver tongue
I was tricked, I was flattered into letting my guard down

Wasn't long before I was dependent on the monster I had let in my head
I was trapped, 'cause it was my own thoughts that kept him fed
Had to do something, or I'd be lost forever
My only option was to call my twin brother

Verse 3:
I once walked in the dreams
Of the person who hated me, it seemed
But none of that was true, just misinterpretation, was what I deemed

There was a demon, he was screaming
Before he left, his eye agleam
With a warning
Of big things to come, to happen because of his own scheme

He didn't say "we'll meet again,"
But that's how it happened
The second time he caught me off guard,
As luck would have it

Despite sleep deprivation,
I didn't cave to temptation
So he left me alone, went away
But only for less than a day

He came back again, and gave me an ultimatum
I was exhausted and at my wit's end, frustrated, I had had it
So I shook his hand, knowing that I'd likely regret it
And I wasn't wrong, it was a bad idea and I can't forget it

So I was trapped in my own mind,
could barely move, was nearly blind
To the effects that the deal would have on
The entire fight

When I discovered the goal it was his to meet
I had some help, and it led to his temporary defeat

Then came the day she had to choose between her uncle and her brother
Her options were to not or to decide to press the button
In the end, it didn't happen, she left it; aghast,
We all watched as a man emerged from the shattered metal and glass

But little did I know
It was nearly our end
The portal's power surges
Caused reality to bend

The newest member of the family began to favour me
And to suffer dreams
Of no rift between hell and Gravity

Together we built a barrier
And it ceased the worrying
It did
But not the demon's plans to try to claim what wasn't his

Somehow a rift within a family became a rip in reality
"Whatever I like must be mine" was that demon's mentality

Well, gravity had fallen and the earth had become the sky
Too many were hurt, but it was merely one who understood why
The town had been turned upside down all of a sudden
The sky was red and sat high above destruction

Two men went from strangers to brothers,
Before they put their heads together,
with each only trying to save the other

When the demon made a deal with the six fingered man
He'd long known, he failed to look closely at his hand
For instead of six digits being there, there were only five
And a short while later, the man revealed the lie

Now the demon is gone,
The con artist was conned
Instead of player, he was pawn

Now stone is the trigon

Chorus:
You think he's been erased, you think you're forever safe
And though the Cipher is a statue, that may not be the case
There are other things at play, he hasn't simply been done away
He will not give up until he's had his day

You think he's been erased, you think you're forever safe
And though the Cipher is a statue, that may not be the case
There are other things at play, he hasn't simply been done away
He will not give up until he's had his day

As stated above, this is in fact the end of GFP. I won't be doing any more parodies, and I probably won't write any more rap battles, either. If there were ONE parody that I could sing myself, this would be it, and I may do that in the future. Anybody has my permission to sing these songs if they want to, please just credit both the original music composer(s) and myself for the new lyrics.

The reason I'm ending the book is because I'm fresh out of ideas, guys. Some of you will know that I've been struggling with this for just about a year now. I know I kind of threw this at you out of the blue, and I am sorry to see this book end, but I promise to never take down or unpublish any of the parts. You can always come back and reread the parodies that are here. Hopefully my last parody lived up to your expectations, and hopefully the fact that the song was six minutes long helps makes up for it.
