Dipper's POV

For some reason I couldn't sleep, something was bothering me...
It's because of Sam.....I think? She's just a friend.....Isn't she?

"Don't hurt him......" I heard someone mumble. I thought it was Mabel

"Mabel, shut up already....."

"N-no.....It can't.....be true!..." I turned around to se Sam talking in her sleep. Is she having a nightmare?

"I....won't let......him die......can't let that happen....I.......love him!...." I blushed at her words, I need her to stop!

"Sam? Wake up!" She gasped and breathed heavily, tears falling from her eyes. Without warning, se gave me a hug. I stiffned but then hug her back.

"I-I'm realy sorry.....the nightmares just keep coming and.....I get scared" She hugged her knees and hidded her face. Then she looked at me wide eyed

"Was I bothering you?...."

"No....not realy, I had trouble sleeping as well..." We chukle awkwardly

"Hey, I know where we can go, it helps me to relax, you wanna come?"

"Ok...." She said and grabed a blanket. She followed me and I showed her the place.

"Here we are" She did'nt looked impressed

"Dipper....this is just a normal hallway" I opened a trapdoor that had a set of stairs

"Up here" I offered my hand and helped her up. When we got out a beautiful night sky greeted us at the roof.

"It's.....beautyfull!" She said as the stars shined in the sky

"I used to come here at night when I couldn't sleep...it helps me to relax and enjoy the night sky...." Sam was siting near the edge, with her feet dangling at the edge. The stars were reflected in her eyes and the moonlight made her hair shine.

"Dipper?"  She looked at me directly at my eyes

"Y-yeah?" Stop shuttering man, recover, RECOVER!!

"Why are you named Dipper anyways?" Ouch! Not pulling any punches isn't she?

"Well....it's because of my birthmark" I showed her the big Dipper constellation like birthmark in my head.

"Kawaii! " She giggled under her hand. She looks realy funny like that. She Yawned and rubed one of her eyes

"Thanks for your help Dipper, I'm gonna hit the hay.... " She then closed her eyes and rested her head on my shoulder. She opened one of her eyes and smiled "Just kidding! I'm not really tired yet....Wanna read the book I was reading earlier?"

"Not bad for being a stubborn girl" She pouted and glared at me before leaving

I looked at the sky, wondering what could she had dreamed about....was it me? Snap out of it Dipper! You barely know her.....

She came back with the book she had earlier this noon

"I was reading this spell.....'With this spell you will be able of summon a special partner that will follow you until the end'..."

"Hmmmmm......that's new" She was staring at the phrases on that page. I saw her unstable and then she falled asleep.

I carried her bridal stile and placed her in her bed,later I fell asleep as well

Sam's POV

I have this strange feeling.....I don't know, is like, I have the feeling that something big is going to happen to me and I need to have that 'partner'...........I have decided. I got up from the bed and strated to walk quietly to avoid that Dipper or Mabel to wake up. I grabed my book and whent to the rooftop. When I opened the book I placed it on the ground, the wind blows and it ends at the same page I was reading earlier

Life and death, ligth and dark, black and white, ying and yang. When nigthmares are rising from hell, the bond of flames will shine, summon of the spirit of light, it's master will follow for life.....

(Summon of Mihô)
Aria no hiki nee, roku no itoshiki kimi e, Mihô!

I've never seen something like this.......

Mihô is known as the only link between the spirit and the body, many have forced Mihô to open portals to the spirit world and ended without energy and being traped in the marking of the bond of flames. After 1000 years of being imprisoned in the bond, Mihô can only be released by the one who has the Blaze mark in it's hand.....

I.....have that marking....

If the bond between Mihô and it's master is strong enough, she and it's master will be able of fuse their spirit's and reach their maximum level of bonding.......

If....Mihô is the partner that I will have....I'll take care of her....

No one's POV

Sam stepped back a few steps back, she lifted her right hand that had the Blaze mark....

"Aria no hiki nee, roku no itoshiki kimi e, Mihô!!!!"

The marking glowed a bright red and a wave of energy was blowed away. The way that it shined makes it look like an aurora. The glowing aura of the marking was released and the same simbol was made with the light

Meanwhile, Dipper and Mabel woke up by feeling a wave of energy pass by them.

"Dipper! What was that for!?"

"I didn't do anything-- Mabel! Sam is gone!!" Both looked out the window and saw the aura of red glow.

"Her book is gone too!!!"

"DIPPER!!!!! It's SAM!!!!" Mabel shouted from downstairs, I rushed towards her.....

Sam's POV

The glowing simbol was floating motionless in the air, no movement.....no reaction....nothing

"Mihô....if you can hear me, I need you....I'll take care of you, I will never leave you alone....never....I will be always with you, I promise!!!" I got closer to the simbol and touch it...

'It feels.....warm....like a soft heartbeat...'

The swirl's of the simbol started to spin,

"Sam!!! Get out of here! It's too dangerous!!!" I heard yelling behind me. Dipper was the one yelling

"I can't leave her behind!!!!"

I shouted back and reached out for the simbol. It's now a human figure glowing white, levitating in mid-air. It lowered softly to the ground, and her body stoped it's glowing, eyes still glowing. She closed them and fainted. I caught her before she fell, her skin was pale and her hair was honey blond, she also has real fox ears and tail. She had the same marking I had in her left hand.

"What....is that?..." I ignored the question. I was worried about her well being

"She...is Mihô....." I awnserd while smilingly at the sleeping Mihô
