"I know that you will not deny this offer, will you?"

Lia turned her head to see Ray in his chocolate brown eyes, he also turned. Now, they are making eye contact as they both are surprised with this question. Ray slightly nods and Lia smiles. Lia then focuses her gaze on Dr.kilby and replies "No."

As soon as Dr.kilby hears this, an evil smile escapes his broad lips. If there was a scale to measure happiness intensity, then his happiness must be limitless now. He smirks and says "I knew that. I am happy with your decision. " even more than you!! *evil laugh* inside his brain.

The door behind them opens and Shelly enters the room with her tab. The evil smile on Dr. Kilby's face broadens at the look of shelly. He continues " Umm...I think my favourite tree had got your attention when you came on this floor."

Lia nods.

"Well then! I would like you to tell me your views about it."

Lia rolls her eyes to the door, then opens her mouth but closes. She then looks at the ground and after thinking for a minute, she replies "Umm. ..Try to know what Destiny has for you and if you are not satisfied with it, then change it."

"Excellent! "Dr.kliby cried  out and then focuses his gaze on Ray who was staring Mr. Watson. "And you too Ray."

Ray shifts his gaze from Mr. Watson to Dr. Kilby and replies,
"Do anything to protect what's yours."

"Mar-vell-ous!" Dr.kilby sang out and then nods at shelly who again leaves the room in her lightning speed.

"Shelly will navigate you to reach my secret lab. Go there, meet my assistant there who will tell you about everything and wait there till I come. Understood? "

"Hmm...okay!" Ray replied and dragged Lia out of the room by holding her wrist. Lia was staring Ray with her eyes wide. She was shocked by this behaviour of Ray. Why he's behaving so wild? She thought.

Once outside, Ray tightens his grip on Lia's wrist and brought her near.

"Listen to me Miss Lia Stuarts!
I am damn sure, there is something wrong going on in his evil mind. I don't want Dr.kilby to ruin this Corporation. I am going to his secret lab where I will get to know his intentions and expose him!
This is going to be extremely dangerous. So think about it. Do you still want to come?"

The fury in the eyes of Ray had made Lia shiver but she still has the intention to go. She firmly looks into his chocolate brown eyes and replies in a firm voice "YES!"

"Okay then!" Ray murmurs and loosen his grip on Lia's wrist and let's her go.

"Let's go and find Shelly. I know where she must be."

Lia nods and they walk towards the main hall. Shelly is standing near the tree and tears were rolling down her rosie cheeks.

"Wait here till I come. I will go and try to get some information out of shelly. I know she's not going to spill it out easily. "Ray tells to Lia fixing his gaze on Shelly.

"Okay!" Lia shifts herself in a corner and leans against the wall while Ray moves towards Shelly. Lia tries her best to eavesdrop on the conversation but it was all in vain.

Ray gets to Shelly and puts a hand on her shoulder. She tries her best to plaster a fake smile on her face. She turns and says in a fake spirit "oh hello Ray! I was coming to you to give you the details."

"Oh stop this Shell!" Ray smirks

Shelly stops her overwhelming tears and her eyes widened with shock. She stumbles behind and holds the desk firmly. The feeling of fear and agony spread over her face. Her face was turned white as if she had killed someone. Her lips dried and curled. Her eyes were soaked in tears. Her heartbeat grew faster and faster, it seemed that anytime it would fell to the ground. Her legs felt weak as if they refused to bear her weight.

She clutches the mouse firmly in her cold hands and tries to compose herself. After a few minutes, she finally swallows her fear and clears her throat to speak. She cleans her tears with the sleeve of her white coat and manages her legs to help them balance her weight.

She finally manages herself to speak. Her words came out broken and it created an illusion that she was stuttering.

"W...what. ..what are...what are you talking about?"

An evil smile escapes out of his so called innocent  lips, he looks to the ground and then fixes his gaze to the tree.

"You know what I am talking about."

"N...no...no. I don't know what are you talking about."

"Umm? " Ray groans in his evil way and raises his left eyebrow.

"N...no...It can't be!"

"It is."

"Y.....you....you know....you know about this?"

"Hmm."

"This can't be true."

"Of course,  After all I am Raymond Watson! "

"You are involved...."

Ray shifts his gaze to Lia and his evil smile broadens up.

"Yes!"

Shelly holds her breath. Her jaws open wide and the gasps of sorrow escaped her mouth. Her heart seemed to stop working. No Ray you can't be like them! I thought you were...were different but you also turned to be like them! These words were echoing in the head of  Shelly and she held her hands through her hair and clutched them.

She can't believe that Ray is also involved in this. How can he? After all he knew everything but still he allows all this to happen. But Why?

Wow!! Ray is also involved in this....but in what?

But I am glad with the fact that he's an evil.

*Evil laugh *

No, I was just kidding. I don't have any enmity with him. But it seems like he has....With Lia,  of course.
