A girl with blonde curls and blue eyes was sitting on a chair inside a dark room filled with deafening silence. The girl was scared to turn and look around her, not because she was afraid of darkness or something like that but because of the footsteps she heard.

They belong to a creature of the species she fears the most, humans. She's afraid of humans, human society and human emotions. She didn't like the way they treat each other, the hatred they hold in their eyes for each other. Words coated with sugar but hands armed with knife. They put on a sweet deceiving mask behind which they plan to decipher the plans of doom. They don't resemble truth, in fact, they worship the diety of hell.

How can someone expect to survive in this world of fake attitude full of treachery and hatred with an innocent heart? An innocent heart can't bloom in this world full of people involved in cut throat race.

That is why she hates it; or better, fears it. She is afraid of trusting someone and then end up broken. She's broken from inside but she hides it with a smile. Her actions are the reflection of others. She treats others as they treat her. But whatever lies within her, remains hidden deep inside.

She hates when people say they love her. They don't love her! it's simply care. Some care her because it's their Duty while others, for their own greed. It's completely fine for as she has grown habitual to it. But she hates the word love. According to her, this word is as true as magic and as beautiful as Snow White.

"Lia? Lia!!" Aiz yelled at her face while shaking Lia who was now trembling with fear. Aiz stopped shaking her once she nodded and looked at her demanding an explanation.

Lia cleared her throat to speak but she wasn't able to come up with a good excuse. "I..uh...actually...I..um...zoned out."

Aiz nodded believing her and asked if she knew where they are going. But when she shook her head and replied no, he explained her that they are going towards the cabin which is at the northern end of island where Ray had hid the spaceship.

"Is it his own spaceship?" Lia asked disbelieving. What type of parents give their children a spaceship to play?

"Nope. He had asked a scientist to build one custom spaceship for him with some cool gadgets and facilities in it. I don't know if its true but he had told us about the special ability of Ship that will be able to survive in space for a long time even if Earth will take some extra time to stabilise completely. " Aiz replied while shoving a branch.

Lia raised an eyebrow at cool and thought what is it that he calls so cool? She shook her head in amusement when a memory from past clicked in her mind. When they used to play together, Ray would always describe his possessions either as cool or unique. Only God knows his choice and only he trusts himself.

Ray was giving Ben a piggy back ride who was enjoying it completely. "Yoooooooooo!" Ben yelled and patted Ray as if he is his horse. But then he suddenly stopped and Ben looked at his face which was completely pale.

"What happened? Why you guys stopped walking? "Louis asked Ray who had now placed Ben on the ground.

Ray turned to him to and opened his mouth to speak," Guys! It's -" but was cut off by an ear piercing sound. Everyone placed their hands on ears and crouched. Alrick looked above and saw birds in groups of thousands flying above their head creating that sound.

"What the f***!" Becks cussed and stood up when they passed but this time they could hear sounds of paws hitting the ground.

"Animals are disturbed." Aiz announced studying the situation.

"Yes! I could feel the fear, the chaos in the atmosphere. It's like they are afraid of something and they can't do anything to protect themselves. They are feeling helpless." Alrick thought out loud which only made Ben to shiver.

"They have sensed the danger and now trying to protect themselves. We have to be more careful now as they will act more fiercely." Ray spoke with seriousness in his voice. It was like he knew it's him who has to put his life in danger. It's not forced, but his own choice. He'll rather die protecting than to live running.

"Is everyone going to die?" Ben asked to no one in particular but the grief hidden in his words were not hidden. Everyone became silent and their thoughts ceased. Not because they are afraid as well, but because they knew, unfortunately it is true. Even if they'll find the ship and return back after everything is stabilised but what will they return for? They will lose their family, friends, relatives, everyone they knew and the ones they don't know too. There will be no one. Earth will be a living graveyard then.

"Um..." Ray tried to reply Ben but nothing came out of his throat.

But then, Lia stood up and said with a stern face, "Yes. Everyone will die and we can't do anything about it. I know you all will think 'we are humans. We must protect our family, people we love and stuff' but remember WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING NOW. We are helpless at our own. We don't even know we are going to be alive or not and in this situation how can we think about bl****y morality!

For a second, if we will consider these moral stuff, do you know what we have to do?! You'll say go and tell everyone about this. But who'll trust us! And at the first place, we can't get out of this hell. Kilby has trapped us.

He wants us to protect our species, not us. He has put two options in front of us-

Use your ethics and morals, get out of this place and DIE. And leave this universe untold about a species called HUMANS. We will be erase like we never existed. While we can fight, and CONTINUE OUR RACE. We are here as human emotions and specifications, not as individuals.

We are mere PAWNS! "

When she finished, she had tears in her eyes which were rolling down her cheeks. It was like she was not consoling anyone but herself. She's broken herself at the thought of this.

"I know this cannot be happened but I have a little piece of hope inside my heart that tells me time and again, it'll happen." Louis said and walked to his sister when he saw her broken up. It's her dialogue that she uses to lighten the mood whenever anyone feels broken down. So now seeing her brother telling her the same thing, she felt a little hope sparked in her heart. If God will want, he will protect others too. But I wish at leat we will not be alone. She prayed and wiped her tears. "Let's go guys! We don't have much time to waste."

When they reached a cliff, dense greenery was visible to them. Only green trees....only greenery. With birds hovering over it. The canvas of sky was complementing it when the setting sun's shine painted it orange. The view was worth of the compliment of a dead man from his grave. It was so beautiful. Words can't express it but heart can. The feeling of warmth filled their heart which soothed it completely.

"It's beautiful."

"Mesmerising! "

"I'm speechless."

"Wow!!!"

"I'll die now."

"Nice."

"What makes you beautiful? "

"Whaaaattt!!!??"

Last one is Aiz complementing the view as WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL in an amused tone which made Lia yell in shock. Her mouth was like it will fall down any second.

"Is there anything you want to share?" Ray asked controlling his laughter. It was like he will burst out laughing any moment.

Lia walked over to Aiz and then grabbed his collar. Aiz made a puppy face like he knew what he had done. Lia raised an eyebrow giving him time to confess. When he continued to play the innocent card, she yelled," So you were the one who was placing letters in my school locker!" But at last she ended up smiling, or rather a blush.

"You found this now. After three years. Cool!" Aiz replied with sarcasm.

"I...um"

"So now?" Aiz pressed on Lia to make her say something or rather to spill the truth.

"Shit!" Louis cussed from behind and everyone turned to look at him.

"What? " Becks asked bored.

"I forgot something. " he replied.

"What?" Becks pressed on.

"I forgot to set the timer for dorm. If it will not be set, then everything will escape into space. Someone has to go and set the timer so that the dorm will shift after the space ship launches, so that it will hold the spheres." He said and repented for forgetting about it.

"But who will go?"
