Lia slowly tried to open her eyes , one by one but the sunlight coming from the window obstructed her eyes from being opened. Slowly she gets up and yawns noticing the clock - it's 8 am She shook her head and rolled her eyes to the teddy beside her and softly murmured "Oh! It was a dream. Hope it could be reality."

She gets off her bed and entered the bathroom lazily like a koala.

It's 8:45 am - Lia is rushing down the stairs , shouting "Dad! Dad!"

A man ,in his forties , adjusting his newspaper while reclining on the sofa , replied "My little princess. "
Lia followed the voice and enters the living room with a thunder.

"Is the seminar today ?"

"What ?"

"Of Dr. Kilby ?"

He smirked and replied "Yes. "

As soon as these words entered Lia's ears ,she slammed the back door and went into the garden while shouting "Mom ! Why the hell you don't woke me earlier ?"

Mrs. Stuarts rose and replied with a smile " Where are you going today ?"

"It's obvious mom . Don't you remember? "

"What ?" She asked raising her dark brown eyebrows

"Seminar "

"But it was yesterday."

" But dad told me......." Lia frowned in frustration and looked at Mrs . Stuarts who was smiling. She understood that her dad was teasing her as usual. She was about to shout in anger when she remembered about the card.

"Mom, where's my jacket ? "

" on the couch "

Lia rushed past the hall as lightening and reached the crouch where her jacket was laid. She searched in all her pockets and sighed with relief when she found the card in one of the pockets . She took her jacket , clutch from the table and phone near the lamp and ran towards the door. While leaving the house , she turned back and yelled "Dad I will see you."

By saying these words , she slammed the door behind her and ran to the taxi stand where she hailed a taxi to the address written on the card .

In the taxi , her eyes were lodged with her watch and every now and then she was shouting "Drive fast." Or "Are we there yet ?"

Finally the watch showed 9:45 am and she takes a deep breathe that finally , she is here at the perfect time.

Taxi stopped and she stepped out of it giving ten dollar note to the driver and gestured him to take the change.

She stood in front of a 20 storey tall building with grey tiles shining brightly reflecting the sunshine and windows with dark blue shades. On the top of the building words were engraved Watson 's Corporation. (WC)
