A girl with chocolaty curls and baby blue eyes was walking inside the school campus. There, the first thing she noticed was a pair of brown orbs staring her. It belonged to a boy with raven black hair who was her senior and the school captain. Since she was not in a good mood that morning,which is because of a fight with her brother, she rolled her eyes and masked an angry and annoyed look. She went to her friends and turned her back at him.

Then a young woman in her mid-30s with straight black hair and chocolate orbs entered the corridor. She walked to the girl gracefully and whispered something into her ear. The girl nodded obediently and walked away from her classroom marked as 9th 'A'. She followed the woman but not before turning back to see him. His expressions radiated hurt,anger and rejection which eventually turned her expression into sadness, full of guilt. He felt that she had rejected him and she felt that he had rejected. There were unbudded tears in the eyes of both of them.

He liked her for a long time and may be she felt that as well. But they never greeted each other nor talked. They were playing this eye game, which was going to be over soon.

The girl went with the woman while there was a man with his round glasses and white lab coat who furiously dragged the boy to his car. He looked at the boy fiercely and yelled," How dare you?!"

The boy looked at him fiercely and tried to snap back," I just l-"

The man grabbed the boy's collar and yelled with disgust exposed in his voice, " What do you think,huh?! You can't  just fall in love! I brought you up not for marrying or loving someone. After the death of your father, I was the one to feed you. Don't even dare to think that I took up your responsibilities because you are my best friend's son or I care about you. REMEMBER, YOU EXIST BECAUSE OF YOUR BRAIN, NOT BECAUSE OF LOVE."

"Aiz! What are you thinking?" Lia stared into Aizan's eyes when he suddenly stopped while applying the paste on her legs that he had prepared with some sort of wild plants. It is a wild herbal medicine taught to them in survival camp and it is the time to test whatever they have learned.

Aiz looked at her with pleading eyes as if he wanted to say something. He had this burden on his heart for so long that his heart died with its weight. He has some secrets which could reveal his dark past and he fears to spill it out to anyone.

Then there was Ben, sitting under another tree, looking at Aiz so intensely that he's some sort of hero for him, that he might be.

Aiz broke the eye contact with Lia and looked at Ben who was still staring him. He was about to walk away when Lia grabbed his hand. He turned to notice the sky shining in the intense blue eyes with positivity and happiness radiating off.

"Yes?" He asked confused by the sudden action of Lia who was staring him with puppy eyes.

"I-um-was-" she tried to speak but failed miserably and then she continued and replied in one breath," I'm hungry. Bring me some food. Please."

Aiz smiled at her innocence and cuteness and turned to ask Ben if he wants to join. Ben nodded vigorously and they set on their little expedition to find FOOD. But before leaving Lia alone, Aiz turned and instructed her not to get up or walk. She might end up worsening the wound.

As soon as Aiz left with Ben, Lia took off her jacket and placed it on her face to protect her composure from sun's devil rays. She breathed tirely and drifted into a peaceful sleep which might be the effect of herbs.

While searching for something to eat, they unknowingly exited the dense forest and the scene of bright blue sky reflecting in the ocean's water kissing the beach came into view. Calm breeze was blowing in order to soothe the aggressive nerves.

Their hair was flowing with breeze and an involuntary smile secured place on their tired faces. There was a comfortable silence between the two when Ben finally decided to break it.

"You're so cool man. So brave! How did you do it? I mean how could you be so fearless and brave." He said with admiration reflecting in his eyes.

"You call it COOL. I call it CURSE." Aiz replied getting an unpleasant memory of his dark and lonely past.

Ben was about to ask Aizan the reason why he states his bravery as curse but before he could form the sentences to ask, a loud sound interrupted his thoughts which might be of a BLAST. It came from the forest and filled the silence with a fear of death. The sound was so loud that Ben jumped to hug Aiz who caught him effortlessly.

Aiz stood there with wide eyes when realisation took over his thoughts. He started analysing the situation he was in and reconsider the facts. Once his ears assured him of no danger, he got out of Ben's hold and dragged him carefully not to stumble upon the useless woods scattered over the ground.

His heart was beating fast, putting pieces of puzzle together. THEY ARE NOT ALONE but the question is WHO ELSE IS WITH THEM? No one could be trusted here, not only living but souless as well.

HEYA GUYS!!!!

I have so much to say so
First things first.....

The quote at the beginning is based on the lives of the characters in GF. As I can't just go on describing what they feel about their lives so I found this way. Also, it looks cute and classy :p

Next, the flashback is of Aizan when he was 15.

For all the people who are confused about age of characters, the description is given below. Hope that I'll not have to write a chapter consisting of character descriptions. :/

Ben is 12,
Lia is 16,
Aiz and Ray are 18,
And Louise, Alrick and Becks are 19.

Now, about the chapter....
I was about to write a 5k long chapter but due to my carelessness I'm not able to follow my plans. Actually I have managed to cut my thumb which is hurting as hell and yes, it's my right thumb :p
So,
This chapter is 1k long.
{You seriously don't know how much it's paining now :"( :,(  }

And.....oh! I forgot what I had to say :p
So no more lecture now....
