"What. Is. This?" Lia screamed in disbelief while looking at the window.

Ray leaned over her shoulder to take a look at what she is screaming at and then his expressions matched her- ditto.
Completely shocked and Unknown to what's happening.

While Becks seemed completely okay with the surroundings. He gently turned his head to look at the window and then a sly wicked smile spread over his face and he murmured "Perfect!". He got up from his seat, stretched his body and then began to descend the stairs.

Lia was back in her detective mood. Many questions were bouncing in her head but she chooses to hit these.
"Wait! What?!? How could he behave so normal or I say happy? What if Kilby is planning to kidnap us or better kill us because we are suspecting him. He's a professional killer!"

Ray looked at her in amusement and whispered near her ear since he was leaning over her shoulder," Stop reading too much Sherlock Holmes." But somewhere deep inside he knew that whatever she was blurting out it carried some truth but he can't afford to let her know that he agrees to her statement.

"Watson! Are you coming?" A yelling voice was ready to welcome them.

He got up, straightened his back and then gestured Lia to proceed. She at first hesitated but got down while Ray was trailing behind her.

As soon as she stepped down, her so called dusty brown boots were now decorated with real dust.

Ray looked at her and if it were normal situation he would have mimicked her Oh My God! My favourite boots! But this is not the situation. All three were busy digesting the scene in front of them.

The presence of a queer silence spread in the atmosphere over the area as far as one could visualise but then, exactly there, there was a continuous band of dark standing objects which seemed green but by looking at the ground on which they were standing, they can't expect anything green.

There was dirt and dust completely spread over hectares of land and they seemed to be at its centre while looking at its radius. The plane had landed on a dirt road which was abandoned. Not a single living soul was in vision and not a sound to greet their ear drums but whistling of cold, shivering and barren winds.

Many questions were hitting the cerebral hemispheres of Lia's brain and she was desperate to find their answers. Her Curiosity is at the level where if anyone will say her to climb Mt. Everest to get answers, she will happily do that.

Why plane had landed here? On a dirt road? Where is airport? Which place is this? Where the hell are they? And most importantly, why are they here?
What Kilby wants from them?

A dot was becoming larger and larger every second and now when it was clear, it greeted their ear drums with a ROAR.

The dot was a green jeep especially made for dirt roads and its engine was really ROARING. A man, in his early forties or late thirties, hopped out of it and marched towards them.

He was a tall guy of 6"9 with a fair complexion and raven black hair. His body was sculpted so finely that it seems that he doesn't uses weights for weightlifting but he lifts the whole gym.

Lia leans close to Ray and whispers,"I seriously bet now that Kilby is planning to kill us."

Before Ray could reply her, there was something unexpected. The guy, extended his arms and wrapped Ray in a hug.
"Raymond! My boy! I never thought you will come here again. Glad to see you man!"

"Umm...hi Tyler! " He greeted him returning his grin. That guy, Tyler, spared him and smirked while noticing Lia," look! Who we have here!"

Ray playfully punched his chest and said sheepishly, "Come on! We are here for work."

Lia was staring both of them as she wanted to have a feast on them - RAW. But then Beck took this opportunity and ignited the wild spark," Look he is the one you were looking for! "

She stood there burning in the fire of her vengeance and hatred while seeing someone so happy after killing her brother. She narrowed her eyes at them and spoke in attitude," I am sorry. I don't want to spoil this reunion but we have some STUFF to do."

Both of them turned their head to her and blurted in unison," What happened to her?"

"I don't know!" Becks replied while trying to read her expressions.

Once all of them were seated, Lia started her own session of questions as if she was going to kill everyone who will not answer her, as she want.

"So why Kilby wanted us to land here?" She asked rolling her eyes to Tyler.

He thought for a while before answering and then spoke in NOTHING - MUCH tune,
"Umm....he wanted you to understand that this case is extremely privacy sensitive and he don't want to leak the location of this place."

"Ray?"

"Umm...I just know that this is an island somewhere in Pacific Ocean and is completely owned by WC so that maintaining privacy is not an issue. "

"Hmmm....So both of you could just elaborate what I want to know. "

"I don't know what you want to know." Ray shrugged off the question as if it were nothing.
But Tyler had an amused look and he decided to answer something instead of shrugging.

"So...you must've known till now that the plane flew back after you descended."

"Hmmm."

" Actually this clearing has been made by cutting trees completely and making the place a dirt trail for the only purpose of the landing of your plane. Now, I will have to come here tomorrow and plant seeds of trees that are specially made for growing completely in two days so that there will be no evidence that human settlement is present here."

Lia looked at them in disbelief. She can't control herself to praise them how innocently they hide information. Professional liers! They are trying to act smart by giving her this little bit of information.

For an hour now, they were in jeep and now sun had already set allowing the sky to paint itself dark with glittering stars. She was thinking about this MATTER  when her mind started to feel heavy and she felt completely exhausted and frustrated. She looked at the sky in a hope to lighten her mind but something caught her eyes.

She fixed her vision on that spot and then it was clear.

Light rays were beaming in sky and due to the complete dark sky of new moon day, it was clear. They were golden short wave rays aimed perfectly to penetrate the atmosphere.

And the most shocking thing was-
They were not coming from space,
Infact they were shot from Earth.

What this could be? Who shot them? Lia was gazing it with eyes wide in surprise. There were continuous band of these rays.

Ray noticed her gazing at sky and followed her gaze. His expressions turned pale and his eyes widen with disbelief. His heart beat grew faster and faster and realisation took over his mind while some memories rushed in his brain.

"This can't be happening this soon."
