Date with Demons - Elizabill Ship - Fluff - Main AU

Elizabetta grabbed a white clutch, quickly checking her makeup in a nearby mirror. "And there's leftovers in the fridge." She reminded the teen on the couch. Zace nodded, giving her a thumbs up.

The demoness straightened her back and leaned on the door. She and her husband hadn't had a date in an eternity, and he was taking her out on a night on the town. Her face burned with blush as she thought about him.

Bill stepped down the stairs, dressed in a black suit with gold accents that matched beautifully with Elizabetta's dress. He paused for a moment, looking at his wife and smiling. In the years they'd been separated, he had never forgotten the beauty he was married to. Still, looking at her now filled his chest with butterflies.

Holy Axolotl, he missed her so much.

Taking her husband's hand, Elizabetta smiled. "Alright, we'll be back in a few hours. Make sure William gets to bed by 9." She said to Zace.

The boy turned to them and smiled. "I know, enjoy your night, you two." He assured, waving his parents off. Bill laughed a little at that, nodding. With that, they left the Cipher Manor.

The forest glittered with fireflies, and the sky was sprinkled with bright stars. The two shifted into their human disguises as they left the woods. "So, what has my lovely wife prepared for us tonight?" Bill asked.

Elizabetta hummed a bit. "Well, a romantic dinner in the park, first." She smiled at him. "Then, a walk through the town and trees. And finally," she giggled. "I've got a little surprise."

"Oo," Bill raised an eyebrow. "A surprise?" He smiled teasingly. Elizabetta kissed his cheek.

"You'll just have to wait, dear."

Grilled chicken and cinnamon buns from Greasy's wasn't exactly the fanciest dinner, but it was better than anything the two had in a while. They were together, which made everything taste so much better. Bill had brought a bottle of champagne, and the two set themselves up on the grass of the park.

Clinking their glasses together, the two happily ate their meal. They chatted about what they'd been doing, how the town was. The two purposefully avoided any conversation of what had happened after the Fire.

Tonight was going to be a happy night.

Bill picked off a piece of the dessert and teasingly popped it in Elizabetta's mouth. She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. He smiled, leaning his forehead on hers for a moment.

The wind around them fluttered, a sign of Elizabetta's powers. The wind often replicated her emotions, picking up and steadying with her feelings. Now, with the swirling feeling it had and the warm breeze, Bill could quite literally feel his wife's happiness. The air seemed to whisper love.

When the food was finished, they strolled hand-in-hand through the trails. Birch trees seemed to watch them. When the sidewalk started where the dirt path ended, the lights of night shops glittered in the two's faces. The town was usually so busy and exciting. Now, it was all so calm and quiet.

Bill looked around, letting the beauty of the tiny town seep it. He'd almost destroyed it all. Now instead, he was hand-in-hand with his wife, walking about the streets.

"It's wonderful here..." Elizabetta whispered, staring ahead at the glittering lights of the shop windows. Her mouth quirked upwards in a smile. "Alright," she held her hand out, feeling the wind around her fingers. "I think that it should be time." She nodded. She quickly ran back toward the woods, bringing Bill along behind her.

Soon, the two had made it to the lake, with bright lights from the stars glittering on the surface. "So, what do you want to show me?" Bill asked as Elizabetta stepped onto the dock.

She smiled back at him. "Just watch," she hummed.

Elizabetta lifted her hands up as the winds picked up and swirled around them. The air scooped up handfuls of water from the lake and lifted them up. They flew about each other, sparkles in the orbs of water glowing brightly.
The air let streams of water go, but held it in place, causing the liquid to form into strings that wrapped around each other.
The lakewater dropped back down, then the wind picked more up. The orchestral show continued, swirling about in the night and glittering in the moonlight.
Bill stared at the display as the wind bellowed musically in his ears. Elizabetta flicked her hands, and the winds stopped and dropped the water.

His heart fluttered as he looked at the demoness. She stepped off the dock and stood next to him, clasping his hand in hers. Her hands brushed his hair as he smiled faintly at her. He held her face in his hands and kissed her. Elizabetta held onto Bill, leaning forward into the kiss. She pulled back, flushing and smiling.

He glanced away, grinning as if they were young again.
