Episode One: New School
Episode One: New School
Ah, the new School year!
A time of learning, boring lectures, and meeting up with old friends from the last school year.
Unless your me.
Two girls are seen trying to get away from a giant monster while on a riding lawnmower. The brunette one who is sitting behind her driving blonde sister looks back. "It's getting closer!" She shouts in fear and you can see the braces in her mouth. The brunette then turns back around and looks like she's about to hurrel after they jump over a fence by going over a rock.
That's me, Pacifica.
Blonde is zoomed in on.
And the girl about to puke is my adopted twin sister, Mabel.
Brunette is zoomed in on.
Now, I know what your thinking. "What are you doing fleeing from some beast in a lawnmower?!" Well, rest assured! There is a completely reasonable & 100% logical explanation for this!
(A//N: Cue intro!)
Let's rewind a bit!
You see, my mom set us up to get into this prestigious boarding school in the Pacific Northwest, Gravity Falls Academy, or GFA. She thought it'd be a perfectly good idea since she went there once herself.
The academy happens to be off in the woods.
The sisters are in a small room with two beds. Mabel is seen putting up posters all over the wall on her side of the room. "This place is amazing!" She says excitedly, turning to look to her sister.
Pacifica looks around the room with suspicion. When she sees a small brown tabby cat curled up on her bed. "Aaaand there's a cat on my bed." She says, looking worried before sneezing. "Why hello kitty!" Mabel says, coming over and petting the feline. "Yes, you are soft!" She says as the cat starts to purr. "Mabel! You know I'm a-a-atchoo! Allergic to cats!" Pacifica says, sneezing. Mabel rolls her eyes before putting the cat outside their room.
My sister tends to look on the bright side of everything.
Mabel is seen bouncing up and down in her seat in a creaky living room. "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" She says in excitement.
Pacifica is seen in the same living room, reading an advanced biology book.
But I on the other hand am having a hard time getting use to our new living arrangement's.
"Boo!" A gruff man says from behind Pacifica. "Ah!" The blonde shouts. Mabel and the man laugh.
And there's Ford Carnivorous. That guy.
Zooms in on man.
Mr. Carnivorous is in charge of the on campus housing we're in instead of the dormitories.
We will be staying here with four other students.
It seemed it would be the same boring stuff all year, until it happened.
Mabel and Pacifica walk through the lunch room. "Ooh! He's cute! Isn't he cute?!" Mabel says excitedly, pointing to some guy their age that's sitting at some table full of basketball jocks. "Yes, and he's a jock." Pacifica states, unamused. "Must you flip over every guy you see? I know your going through your boy-crazy faze and all, but aren't you taking the crazy part a bit to far?" Pacifica asks, a little worried.
Mabel rolls her eyes. "Oh, puh-leeze! I am not! I just REALLY want a boyfriend!" Mabel counters. Pacifica rolls her eyes with a smile. She sure did love her crazy sister, blood family or not.
"Any who, what I want to talk about is how we have yet to meet any of the other kids in the house. It's weird! I mean, it's already the third week of school Mabel!" Pacifica rants. Mabel rolls her eyes playfully. "We just haven't run into them! You and I do get up and leave real early!" Mabel says.
Pacifica thinks on Mabel's words. "We would at least run into them after school!" She argues. Mabel nods her head, not having any counter for that.
They reach a table and sit. "Why don't we focus on something else?" Mabel asks. "Why?" Comes Pacifica's reply. "Cuz this is going nowhere!" Mabel says. Pacifica sighs. The bell rings just after they finish. "Time for class!" Pacifica says happily. Mabel rolls her eyes at her sisters nerdiness.

The sisters walk into the house and up to their room. "I still say that she was wrong! That problem was all wrong! It was even different in the book! The X postulate should have been -" Mabel cuts Pacifica off by throwing a pillow in her face. "Hey! Not fair! You didn't let me finish!" Pacifica shouts, pouting. Mabel giggles. "Not my fault your so boring!" She teases. The two end up in a pillow fight after that.
When Pacifica gets knocked into the wall, a large painting falls on her head, revealing a small dumb waiter. "Woh! Cool!" Mabel says. Pacifica stands up, rubbing her head. "Why is there a dumb waiter here?" Pacifica asks and Mabel shrugs.
Pacifica opens it and coughs at all the dust that comes flying out. "That looks cool!" Mabel says with big excited eyes. Pacifica rolls her eyes. Typical Mabel. They put the picture back up. "Let's just leave that." Pacifica says. "But don't you want to see where it goes?!" Mabel asks. "I mean, there isn't one in the kitchen, right?" She adds. Pacifica thinks on it. Mabel did have a point.
"FINE! We'll see where it goes!" She says, giving in to her sisters puppy dog eyes. Mabel squeals before taking the picture down. Their house back home had one of these, so they knew they'd fit. As the sisters climb in, Pacifica starts to question the ethicalness of this plan before Mabel starts pulling on the rope, taking them down. When they reach the bottom, they get out and find a giant underground cavern. It was dark as all heck, so Pacifica brings out her emergency flashlights. "Hooray for your emergency flashlights!" Mabel says. "Better safe then sorry I always say." Pacifica says proudly.
The sisters look around til! Pacifica slips and falls, going down a carved put slide in the stone. "Paz!" Mabel shouts, fearful for her sisters safety. Pacifica lands at the bottom and rubs her backside. "Ow. That hurt." She says with a groan. "Where am I?" She asks the emptiness around her. She stands up and searches for a way back up. When she comes across a small contraption, she flips a switch and the sound of a motor starting up is heard. All of a sudden lights way up in the ceiling come on and light up the whole cavern. Mabel waves down to Pacifica, glad she could now see the blonde was alright. Pacifica gives her a thumbs up.
What was this place? Pacifica wondered. She searches around, once again trying to find her way up. When she comes across picture of a journal. It was old, had a black leather bound cover, gold corners, and a golden triangle in the middle with an eye engraved in the middle. She puts her finger to the picture, tracing the eye, and accidentally knocks it down, revealing a small cubby hole where the same journal sat, but aged with some of the leather pealing off. What had she found?

Pacifica sits on her bed reading the journal. Mabel sits at their vanity mirror putting on makeup. "This thing is amazing!" Pacifica announces. "Uh hu." Mabel says, focusing on her eye shadow. "Where are you going?" Pacifica asks when she finally realizes what her sister is doing. "I have a date!" Mabel announces happily. Pacifica shakes her head. "Have fun." She says as Mabel walks out the bedroom door. Pacifica reads a page. "Behold, the Dating Death. Disguises itself as a normal teen to trick human teens into going out with them, to only steal their souls?!" Pacifica reads aloud and scans over the images. The male one is a teen boy with spiky hair and a laid back outfit. She throws her reading glasses to the side and runs down the stairs to find a boy, the spitting image of what's in her book, grabbing Mabel's hand and leading her out of the house.
Pacifica freaks and races to her room. She paces. What was she going to do? She mumbles to herself. "Should I just let my sister go on a date with a guy I haven't even met that could possibly be some kind of creature trying to steal her soul?!" She asks aloud in her delema.
"I think you should stop her." Pacifica jumps at the voice she looks to the teen male in her room, changing the light. "Who are you?" She asks suspiciously. "Robby." I sometimes help out around here." He answers. "Anyways, I think you should stop her." He adds. He then throws her a set of keys. "Take the lawnmower, it's faster." He says before finishing with the light and leaving the room.
Pacifica smiles, deciding that Robby seems like a cool guy, and runs out to save her sister.
When Pacifica reaches a spot in the forest surrounding the school, she hears a scream. "That sounds like Mabel!" She says and drives toward the scream. When she finds her sister, Mabel has been tied up by.... Gnomes?
Pacifica shakes off the surprise and gears up to save her sister. "Paz! Help me! My date turned out to be a bunch of gnomes! And their little jerks!" Mabel calls. Pacifica runs a couple over before using her emergency sissiors to cut the ropes, freeing her sister.
The girls hop on the lawnmower and speed off. "I am no going to even question why this lawnmower goes so fast!" Pacifica shouts happily. The gnomes then all come together into a giant formation to chase the girls, causing Pacifica to gun it.
You know the chase scene already...
When the girls make it to the house, Mabel gets an idea just as the giant gnome monster arrives. "Jeff!" She calls. The gnome leader comes down. "Yes, my sweet?" He asks. "I'll agree to marry you." She says, looking like she's given up. Jeff looks happy and skips on over, only for Pacifica to grab him and threaten to dropkick him if he doesn't agree to leave them alone. "Okay! Fine! Gnomes! Roll out!" He calls and she hands him over to Mable for the brunette to throw as far as she could, which was rather far. The two laugh and go inside to rest, tired from their day.
