*Maddison's POV*

It was now September 23, and our break was over. Here's an update: Luke is now dating Katie, and told us about a week ago. Also, we realized that Michael was really sad when we were getting on the plane, and he told us that him and Saige had been dating for about 2 weeks. Anyways, we had a show in Adelaide tonight, and I was excited to see Talia again. I needed to tell her about the baby, Saige, Danielle, Adam, and anything else. We got to the stadium at 6, and just like after last break, I ran to her to hug her. We let go of each other after what seemed like years, and I started to hint to her about the baby.

"Here in a few months you won't be able to hug me easily.." I hinted, then smiled.

"What?" She was confused at first, then got it, "no way!! Maddie you are not pregnant!!! Oh my god!! This is amazing"

"Guess what else"

"What?"

"Saige, you know the story of Ashton and her drunk, right?"

"Yeah"

"Well, Saige was pregnant too"

"What do you mean 'was pregnant'?"

"She chose to get an abortion"

"That's sad"

"She said she wasn't going to have a baby with the same dad as my baby"

"That's nice"

"But do you know my sister Danielle?"

"Yeah. What's wrong with her?"

"She has glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. She has eight to nine months to live now. We hope she gets to meet the baby"

"Aww, that's bad, I'm sorry Maddie"

"It's okay, but I don't know what I'll do without her," I sniffled, then gathered myself back together, "anyways, Adam called Ashton during our break"

"About what?"

"Adam wanted Ashton to break up with me because I was a distraction to the boys, you and especially Ashton. Ashton started to break up with me, then I yelled at him and told him I was pregnant, so we are okay now. I bet the management is mad, though"

"Wow, so you had quite a break, huh?"

"Yup"

"How was yours?"

"I visited my family, that's pretty much it

"Wow. Exciting.." I laughed, and so did she.

The show started, and I was actually glad to be back on tour. Once the boys were done, they came to the side of the stage like usual, then Ashton kissed me on the cheek quick before going back into the dressing room. Calum did the same to Talia, but took her into the dressing room with him. Then I remembered what Talia had said before we left for break, that her and Calum would have 'round two' when we came back.

A few minutes later, Ashton came out from the dressing room, and grabbed ahold of my hand. He smiled at me, and I wondered what was going on. We walked out of the stadium, and towards his car.

"What are we doing?" I asked.

"Going to see a movie" he informed me.

"What movie?"

"You'll just have to see"

We drove off, and in a few minutes, we arrived at a movie theater. We walked towards the movie theater, hand in hand, and we got mobbed by fans. Everyone was taking pictures, asking for autographs, or asking for follows on Instagram and Twitter, stuff like that. We walked through the mob, waving to the fans. Ashton hugged a few that asked, and I thought that was sweet. We finally got into the theater, and I looked at the movies playing: +1, Crackerjack the Movie, A Single Shot, The Short Game, and The Wizard of Oz!! We were seeing The Wizard Of Oz!! Yay!!

"I remember you saying that you liked The Wizard Of Oz, and when I heard that it was playing here for its 75th anniversary, I knew that I had to come here" he turned to the lady behind the desk, "two for The Wizard Of Oz, an extra large popcorn, and two large sodas"

"That will be 29.75" She replied, and handed him two tickets, two large sodas, and an extra large popcorn after he handed her the money.

We walked into the theater room, and there were commercials playing. Hope fully they wouldn't play for long. The only bad thing about coming to the movie theater is that it has 40 minutes of commercials before the movie even starts, then the movie itself has 10 minutes of commercials.

The movie had just finished, and we were walking out of the theater when paparazzi surrounded us yelling stuff like, "is it true that Maddie is pregnant?!" "Is Maddie really pregnant!?". My stomach was hurting. There were cameras flashing everywhere, and I was getting dizzy because of all the flashes. My vision was going blurry, and it was hard to see. We were almost to our car when everything went black.

*Ashton's POV*

We were walking to our car, and the paparazzi just wouldn't leave us alone. They kept asking if Maddie was pregnant, and neither of us answered. They kept taking pictures, and the flashes seemed to bother Maddie. We were almost to our car when there was a tug on my hand. Maddie had fallen backwards, and the paparazzi just stood there looking at her. I picked her up and carried her bridal style, running the rest of the way to the car. The paparazzi went away as I sat an unconscious Maddie on the backseat and called 999.

"Hello?" The nurse said as she picked up the phone.

"Hi, my girlfriend just fell unconscious" I said quickly.

"Where are you?"

"In the parking lot of the Capri Theater" I told her where we were, what car I had driven, where in the parking lot we were, then she finally said, "okay, I'll send an ambulance. They'll be there in 5 minutes"

Five minutes would seem like a lifetime to me. Maddie fell unconscious, and I don't know if she hurt anything or.. the baby. No, this can't hurt the baby. I was crying, holding Maddie in my arms, her head on my chest.

Within minutes, which seemed like hours, the paramedics came, and they put Maddie on the stretcher, then loaded her into the back of the ambulance. I got into the ambulance and stood right beside her. He paramedics started asking me questions.

"Is there anything that could have caused Maddison to faint?" One asked.

"Well, the paparazzi were following us, taking pictures, and the flashes might've caused her to faint" I replied.

"Does she have any medical conditions?"

"She's pregnant. Seven weeks"

"How old is she?"

"Seventeen"

"Thank you"

I got out my phone and decided to call Mikey. I would tell him, then he would tell the boys, and they would show up at the hospital for Maddie. I dialed his number, and it started ringing. He didn't answer, for some reason, so I left a message.

"Hey Mikey, it's Ash. When you get this message, you and the boys need to come to the Ashford Hospital. Maddie fell unconscious when we were being followed by paparazzi, and we are on our way to the hospital now. See you later, bye" I said, breathy, into the phone.

We finally made it to the hospital, and they took Maddie away from me immediately. She was still unconscious, and that wasn't good. They took her for testing, but made me stay in the waiting room, and fill out a few papers. I filled out the papers, then Luke came up to me.

"Hey, what's wrong with Maddie?" He asked.

"She fell unconscious when the paparazzi were flashing the cameras at us, and so they took her for testing"

"I'm sorry dude"

"What do you mean?"

"Just, you're so stressed right now. I feel bad for you"

"Thanks Luke. Are the other boys here?"

"Michael wanted something from the vending machine, and Calum stayed with him"

"Oh, typical Michael"

"Yup" we laughed.

I stopped laughing, and my head went back down, eyes closed, thinking about Maddie. I sniffled, and Luke sat down next to me. He put his hand on my back and said, "Ash, she's gonna be fine, she just fell unconscious". I sniffled once more, then looked him in the eyes and said, "Luke, I'm really worried about the baby, though. I don't know if she fell hard or what. I didn't see". I continued crying softly, and then Michael and Calum came over, Michael with Cadbury Twirls.

"You okay, Ash?" Calum asked, with Michael biting more off of his Cadbury twirl behind him.

"Yeah, I guess. I'm just worried about Maddie and the baby, a lot" I replied.

The doctor then called me, and I walked towards him. He looked down at his clipboard again, then looked up at me, "you're Ashton Irwin, Maddison Higgins's boyfriend, correct?"

"Correct" I told him.

"Maddison is done testing, but we don't have the results back yet"

"Okay, thank you. Could I please see her now?"

"Yes"

He told me the room number and let me go to her room. When I arrived at her room, she was still unconscious, and it had been over thirty minutes since she fell. I sat down next to her and held her cold, pale, hand. The fact that she hadn't awaken in over thirty minutes worried me. I cried, and my tears fell onto her hand. I pulled her hand up to my face, and kissed the back of it. I put her hand down, and just sat there after kissing her forehead over a dozen times.

After fifteen minutes of being in Maddie's room, the doctor came in. He said to me, "could you please go back into the waiting room, sir?" Maddie's eyes slowly opened as the doctor was pushing me out of the room. Her eyes were fully opened by the time I was out, and right before her face disappeared from my view, I saw her frowning. I went back into the waiting room, and the boys asked what happened.

"I held her hand, and it was cold and pale. She was still unconscious most of the time, but she had just woken up at the end when the doctor was forcing me out of the room" I informed them.

"aw, I'm sorry you didn't get to talk to her, Ash" Calum apologized.

"It's okay. I can go back in in about fifteen minutes. They just don't want me in there the whole time they said" I said to them.

"Will we be able to go in?" Luke asked.

"I don't know"

Talia came running towards us. "Guys, where's Maddie!?" She said to us.

"Talia, babe, we aren't allowed to see her" Calum told her.

"I need to see her. She's my best friend" Talia repeated.

"Even Ashton isn't allowed in right now, Talia" Michael pointed out.

"Oh, alright. But have any of you seen her since she fell unconscious?" Talia asked.

"I have," I started, "and she's okay, Talia. She was just waking up as I left"

"Okay. That's good. Thanks Ashton"

"Your welcome, Talia"

A few minutes later, then nurse came up to me, and she said, "sir, you may go and see your girlfriend for a little while. She's okay now"

I ran back to her room, rushing to see her. When I got to the room, the doctor was just walking out, and walked right past me. I stood at the door, watching Maddie for a minute. Then I noticed tears running down her face. She leaned forward and covered her face with her hands. This broke my heart. She was crying. Why was she crying, though?
