"Hey you remember when I said I wanted to take you on a date?" Danny asks as we walk to Jeffs house one Friday evening. We've been here a week, and I plan to leave on Monday. It was good to rest for a while.

"Yes?"

"Well, can I? Tomorrow, I have enough money now"

We quit our jobs today after collecting our paychecks. It was only a week but at least we have some money in our pockets.

"Really? Where are we going?"

"Suprise" is all he says.

"But how should I dress?"

"Anyway you like"

" I'm going to spend the rest of the day with Joy" Danny says when we reach the gate.

I smile, he's been doing that everyday.

I wake up in my own bed the next day,The only thing that greets me is a note with some money beside it on my bed.

Get yourself something to wear.

I can't help but smile as I look at his terrible handwriting though.

I shower and go up to Nias room. She lives here, she should know where all the clothes stores are.
I ask her and she excitedly calls Joy and before I know it we're out the door and headed down the street.

Jeff and Kyra went out so neither of them could drive us.

"So what do you have in mind?" Nia asks as we enter the Store.

"I really don't know, Danny didn't tell me anything."

She holds up many clothes which are either too short or too long. Then I spot something on a mannequin I really like. It's not amazing but it's simple.

                        
"What do you guys think about that?" I point to it.

"Yessss" Nia and Joy say at the same time.

So I try it on. My hips are a bit wide so it looks a little different than it does on the mannequin.

"Do you think he'll like it? I ask as I step out of the changing room.

They nod their heads vigorously.

"And....done!" Nia says as she spins the chair around so I can look in the mirror.

After 2 broken combs, a shit ton of hair products, and a flat iron, my hair looks...nice, and....different.
My once very curly hair is now pin straight.

"You like it" Joy asks

"She should" Nia says."I feel like Dwayne Johnson the way your hair gave me a workout"

"I do like it, thanks"
Suddenly Kyra comes barges into the room.

"Nia have you seen-oh hi Gravity, You look nice"

"Kyra you really need to knock" Nia says at the same time I say "thank you"

"Have you seen your father?"

"No, why?"

"Nothing, you-you girls continue"

Huh? She didn't even ask wear I was going.

It was 11:00 when Danny came home.
I look at what he's wearing.

It's extremely casual, yet, extremely hot.

"Woah Gravity, you look.... good" Danny says as he sees me.

"Really?" I ask and he nods, eyeing me from head  to toe.Nia lent me a pair of white sneakers to go with my blouse.

I smile.
"ready?" He asks and I nod.

We head out down the driveway.
"Ok," Danny begins "I found this place where I really want to take you. But until we get there we're gonna play tourist"

"Play tourist?"

"Yes, we're gonna explore this town"
We continue walking when I think of something.

"Hey, let's spice this up" I say to Danny

"What?"

"Until we get to this place, we can pretend to be anyone we want"

"Ok..?"

"Let's be a married couple with 15 kids"

Dannys eyes widen, and I swear I saw the imprint of his heart though his shirt for half a second.

"it's only role playing stupid," I mutter.

"I have a better idea" Danny says "Everytime we walk pass a stranger, one person comes up with a story and we go with it"

"Simple enough"

"Ok, here's some" he says and I look to see two old ladies ahead. "You start" he whispers as we near them.

"So did the doctor prescribe anything for hour erectile dysfunction? " I shout loud enough for them to hear.

I didn't think he would do it but he actually played along.

"He did, but they don't work, it's been pretty hard for me, well, not hard, my equipment doesn't get hard, you of all persons should know that"

It's taking all my strength not to laugh at the bewildered looks on the ladies faces.
Equipment? Who the hell says that.

We continue and when we pass the ladies, I have to hunch over because my belly starts to hurt from laughing.

Danny chuckles lightly, and this is the most emotion I've seen from him. I wish he laughed more, it's pleasing to the ears.

And the heart.

After making many other people on the road feel awkward on the road,we went deeper into the town.

"Are we almost there?

"Yeah, just a little further..umm Gravity, I was thinking-"

"Oh look!" I drag Danny over to a woman making jewelery at her stand.

"Wow.." I say as I watch her hands move.

I'm pulled out of my daze when Danny slips something in my hand.

I look down to see a blue necklace with three beautiful pendants, a sun, a moon and a star.
Its..-It's beautiful.

"When did you buy this?"

"While you were staring for exactly two minutes"

"Thank you, put it on" I hand it to him and he attempts to put it on my neck.

"Fuck!" He says when he misses for the 100th time.

"Just take your time" I say and he finally gets it.

"Ahhh how much longer?!" I wail.

"Just a little furthur, you're so unfit"

"Hey! Remember when we use to walk for days and I was in the lead?! I'm hungry, that's all"

"Just a little bit furthur ba-" he stops himself.

"Wha-" did he almost say babe? Danny? No way. He was probably gonna say baboon.
But the a's don't even sound the same.

Uhh stop overthinking you baboon.

"Speaking of being unfit, did you know you can  burn up to 1000 calories during sex?"

"Danny are you ok?"
He doesn't respond.

We come to stop at a wall of thick bushes.

"This is where you wanted to take me?" I ask slightly dissapointed.

He puts his hand to his lips, indicating that I should shut up.

He then moves some bushes aside,

And I see it.

"Wow....."
