"No" Danny says before I could even finish.

Man, sometimes I want to punch this boy in the throat. Hard.

After telling Kyra and Jeff that I need to talk to Danny first, I left their room. I mean, he's the one who's been taking care of Joy all these years, it's only fair to tell him first.
The only person who can really decide is Joy.
I think she should choose for herself.

We were now in his room, I layed on the bed while he paced the room.

"Danny Joy deserves this" I say. "Don't you think so ? She'll finally have a home"

"You don't get it Gravity." He stops pacing and sits on the edge of the bed."Joy and I-we only ever had each other"

"I'm sorry to say this Danny, but you're being quite selfish"

He sighs and runs his hand through his hair.

"Plus, I think you should talk to Joy first" I say.

"Yeah I guess so"

"Plus, don't you want Joy to have a family. With a mother and father, and a girl her age? She'll even be able to go to school" I sit up and put my hand on his thigh.

"You'll always be her brother you know, no matter what"

"I know, it's just hard to let go" he says.

"It's not letting go. You're still her brother. And you can visit her as often as you like"

I'm trying to make him realize that this doesn't mean he'll never see her again.

He sighs"Thanks Gravity, you always know what to say"

And suddenly, I was a tomato.

"You need to go talk to Joy" I say and he nods.

Dannys POV.

I leave Gravity in my room and walk upstairs to Joys.
I trip on the last step. Fuck, my knee.

I don't exactly know where it is, so I knock on the first door I see.
I realize I have the wrong room when Jeffs daughter comes out. I don't remember her name. I'm shit at names really.

"Oh hi!"she says.

"Yeah... I was looking for Joy"

"It's that one."She says and points to a door at the end of the hallway.

"Thanks" I say. The word feels kind of funny coming out of my mouth.

She nods and I begin walking off.

"Danny?" She says making me look back.

"Yes?"

"A- never mind...."

I just wasted 7 seconds.

I nods and walk to the end of the hall and knock on the door.
She walks out and looks suprised to see me.

"I need to talk to you" I say and walk past her into the room.
I sit on the bed and she does the same.

"Jeff and Kyra want to adopt you" I say getting right to the point.

"I know" she says.

"I know it may seem like- wait..you know?!"

"Yeah, Nia told me"
Oh so that's her name.

"Well...how do you feel about it?"I ask.

"I- I don't know... "

"Joy just tell me how you feel"

She sighs " what if I said I want  to stay? Would you get mad?"

"What? Ofcourse not, It's your choice" I say and mean it. Gravity really talked some sense into me.

"I- I want to stay" she says and hugs me. "I feel so guilty, you must think I'm so ungrateful"

"Never" I say "I want the best for you Joy. I want you to go to school, make new friends and... just...be a teenager" these thoughts have been swimming around my mind lately, I just refused to acknowledge them. hasn't been to school in years.

"I love you Danny" she says.
"You too" I say.

That was when we knew, everything's gonna be alright.

I make it back to my room a little after 8 and see Gravity sleeping on my bed. I wish she was awake, I wanted to talk to her, she and Joy are are about the only two people I like to talk to.

Her mouth is wide open and I wish I had a phone to take a picture.

I get in the bed beside her and she mumbles gibberish while moving closer to me, her ass rubbing against the lower regions of my body.

Fuck, I suck in a breath. This is going to be a long night.

Gravitys POV.

I wake up before Danny and sit up on the bed.
I stare at the wall for absolutely no reason then get up.

I need to ask Danny how it went with Joy when he wakes up.

I shower then go to my room. I looked at the clock.7:10.
The restaurant was only about a 15 minute walk, we should be fine.

At 7:20 I wake Danny and he tells me what happened the previous night. It's seems so unreal that when we leave here Joy won't be coming with us. She deserves it though, Jeff and Kyra are good persons,and Nia seems to like her alot. The two are basically joined at the hip.

I leave him to shower and go to tell Jeff and Kyra that Danny said yes.
When I go however, they tell me that Joy had already told them everything.

I go downstairs and see that Danny's finished showering. I push open his door and I'm greeted by his bare, yes, bare ass. I cover my mouth to prevent a gasp from coming out.

He was in the middle of pulling up his boxers and he still didn't see me until he finished. For a guy who didn't work out, his body was quite toned.

"Holy shit!" He says when he sees me. "How long have you been there?"

"Quite a while" I admit.

"Uhhh" he groans.

"Come on" I say "we can't be late. Mrs. Chen will have our asses."

"Can you stop?"

"Butt I don't wanna" I say

"Fuuckkk" he says through clenched teeth.

"Gravity?" Danny calls my name as we walk to Mrs. Chens restaurant.

"Yeah?"

"Have you ever thought about what's gonna happen? After we find your mother I mean"

"Well....I really want to go to college" I say.

"Yeah...."

We reach the restaurant at 7:54.
We were handed white aprons and nametags.

"Okay, you guys get it now right?"
A waiter whos nametag read "Ethan" asked us after giving us a 6 minute lesson on waitressing.
It was 8 now, and people started to come in.

We would get paid at the end of the week, but we could keep any tips we got.

Maybe this won't be so bad after all.

"Why me?" I said in my mind as a small child started crying because the straw I gave him wasn't bendy.

Danny on the other hand looked like he was doing just fine.
It was after 12, and it seems like that's when the college girls come out. Cause the restaurant was packed with them.
They all looked at Danny, undressing him with their eyes-or whatever that's called.

Another group of girls walk in and I go to take their order but they frown and say they want the male waiter (Danny) to do it.

Fml.
