Chapter One

The young looking man walked through the cemetery, touching the tops of some gravestones. His slender figure moved in the moonlight of night, he turned his head. Vivid blue eyes flashing and reflecting the light. He had stopped to look at two certain graves next to each other, Zak pulled two single white roses out and laid one at each of the graves, "Ruhe in Frieden meine liebe Eltern, die ihr einziges Kind zu retten gestorben." He stood up and bowed his head at the two graves slightly.

Oli doubled over, panting. He quickly straightened and glanced over his shoulder to make sure he was not being followed. Letting his breath out in a burst, he sank to the ground with a heavy sigh. He was exhausted. Every time he found somewhere safe he felt guilty for being there and left. He felt like a burden. He just wished he could be left alone so he could hopefully take care of himself. Oli fussed with his shaggy hair, suddenly frustrated and needing something to take it out on. He glanced up, peering through his unruly black hair, and spotted Zak. He tensed, wondering what sort of being this guy was. Oli was only human and he knew how outclassed he was when it came to a struggle. It made him wary.

Zak heard heavy breathing and shot his icey glare to the going boy that was on his knees. His vivid blue eyes changed to a Persian blue. "Wer bist du und was machst du denn hier?" Zak's spoke, his voice strong and not wavering. He coughed lightly as he was still speaking German, "Who are you and what are you doing here?" He steps away from his parent's graves and towards the boy on the ground.

Oli stared blankly as the man spoke another language. He wondered if he would have to try and communicate with someone who did not understand him. The boy tilted his head as he switched to a language he could understand. "How is that any of your business?" he asked defensively, getting to his feet tiredly. He scowled at Zak. "This is a public place so you don't really have a right to go demanding things."

"You should watch out then." Zak seemed to take one small step towards the boy but was now right in front of him, "And who you are talking to human." He took one of his hands and put it onto the boy's neck, holding it a bit tight. Zak had to control his strength otherwise the boy's neck would be broken already.

Oli tensed up. He was suddenly alert. He knew something bad was going to happen. The boy was startled when he was suddenly there. "Dammit. Everyone here has bull shit pow-," he started to complain then he was grabbed by Zak. Growling, he lashed out. He kicked and punched while shouting profoundly.

Zak smirked at the boys reaction, he let go of the boy's neck and walked over to sit on a gravestone. Sitting down he spoke, "Well most humans don't come to the cemetery at night, alone. Cause they are afraid of getting killed by a vampire or werewolf." Zak smiled showing his fangs as he licked them and looked up and down the boy's body. "I'm Zak, by the way."

Oli scowled, inching away. He eyed Zak warily, not wanting to be caught off guard again. The boy frowned at Zak. "Been there done that," he scoffed, referring to the killed by a vampire or werewolf part. He had nearly gotten eaten by a werewolf before. He ended up was just a dozen broken bones. Thankfully he got healed. He huffed as Zak introduced himself. "Oli," he grumbled grudgingly.
