Chapter Five
Gray's POV:
After convincing Natsu to go with me to the park, I picked him up in my arms. He was light as a feather, despite his strong build. It's pretty adorable.
I carried him all the way to the way to the park. It was a pretty far walk, but I didn't really mind. I mean, my arms were aching, but, I'm pretty tough. I can handle it. I sat him on a bench and sat next to him.
"Like the fresh air?" I asked, casually putting my arm around his shoulders.
"It's great," Natsu narrowed his eyes at my arm, "Don't do that."
"Why not?" I grinned, "It's not like you can do anything about it... You're immobile. It's not like you can get up and walk away, and there's no way you can fight like that." I don't know where it came from, but I began to taunt him. His whole face went red with what I would assume was angry.
"You're annoying," he spat.
"And you're irresistibly cute," I leaned in closer and planted a kiss on his cheek. Natsu flinched away, falling off the bench and right onto his ass. When he did, Natsu yelped in pain.
"W-what the fuck!?!" He cried, looking up at me like I was a four-armed, weapon-baring vulcan, "Don't do shit like that!"
"Based on how you reacted you're more affected than most people would be."
"Because we--" he hesitated, then lowered his voice, "Because we did it..."
"But you don't remember it," I reasoned, "So why would me kissing you matter?"
"Because I don't want you to!" He shouted, "You're being a total dick! I said I wanted you to take care of me, but you know what? Fuck it. I'll take care of myself. Just leave me alone..." At this point, if he could stand, I imagine Natsu would have left. I sighed and looked to the side.
"Sorry."
