"We're dating!"

A silence surrounded the entire guild.

However, that was shortly broken by two certain girls. Who tackled each man, respectfully, and unconsciously ripped their hold from each other's hands apart.

"Wahhhh~!!! No~!!! Gray-sama~!!! You're mine and only mine!! I won't let anyone take you away from me!!" Juvia wailed and held onto Gray's chest, tightly. Said person, however, looked absolutely uncomfortable.

He tried pushing her away from his person, but she was being persistent about her hold onto him. Becoming annoyed, he pushed her further. This went on and on.

Meanwhile, a few steps besides them, Natsu was kinda having the same problem. "Even if I am being selfish, I can't hide my feelings, from you, anymore! I... I-I love you, Natsu!" Lucy confessed and cried onto said persons chest.

Natsu looked down at the woman hugging onto him, tightly, startled at the sudden confession his best friend had held dear to her heart, and also looked very uncomfortable with it. He didn't know what to do.

But, before any of the two men could respond to the women hugging onto them, a loud familiar noise was heard. "GRAY! NATSU!" The two instantly looked up and saw Erza looking at them furiously and disappointingly, with a harsh glare.

"You will not disappoint these young woman, anymore. They've been in love with you two oblivious idiots for the longest of time. You would not break their heart's. You'll both, to this day further, date them. No but's!" She suddenly declared. The guild in a whole looked at her in shock.

However, the two men and strangely the dragon slayers looked at her with absolute rage and disbelief. How dare she say such a decision! She has no rights, whatsoever!

But before, anyone could say or do anything, Natsu coughed up blood.
Shocked at this, Lucy unconsciously let him go, and everyone saw the boy fall onto his hands and knees. Still coughing up blood.

"NATSU!" Gray and the Dragon Slayer's were the only one's who had shouted in alarm and fear. While everyone else was looking at the scene in shock; they were too frozen to do anything about it.

The slayers and Gray; whoa managed to rip himself off of Juvia's strong hold, ran to his side and dropped onto the floor, besides him. Gray hugged onto his mate, tightly, in his strong and protective arms.

While the dragon slayers surrounded them protectively from everyone. They looked at the couple, with utter sadness and with protectiveness.

The four saw just how much those words had effected the boy. Just the very thought of no longer being with his mate, effected Natsu very badly.

His once tan and warm skin was now pale and cold. Dark rings surrounded his dulling olive eyes. He sat onto the floor, shakily. While trembling into Gray's arms. Whimpers escaping him, as he shakily leaned into Gray's hold.

"Shhss... It's okay, Natsu... I'm not leaving you... I'm not going to cheat on you... We're in this, together!... We promised, each other.... Remember?" Gray whispered into his ear, so low, that only the slayers could hear it. He felt a shaky nod against his shoulder.

"I love you, Natsu. I love you and only you. And nothing could, ever, tear us apart. We're mates, forever, and into our next life's." At those words, Gray said loudly so everyone could hear it.

Two certain people gasped and cried at the news. But it was drowned out by the loud cheers and whistles from everyone. It seemed the guild, finally, accepted them.

Natsu looked up at him, lovingly and cutely. "I love you, too." He declared, and leaned forward to give the older a quick kiss in the lips.

Natsu then pulled back, and snuggled into his mates embrace and suddenly feel asleep. The exhaustion and the slightly blood-loss drained him.

His bloody coughs had eased the exact moment he'd felt Gray's strong arms's wrapped around him. His skin had returned back to the healthy, tan color and familiar warmness.

It instantly brought a warm smile onto the four's face. But mostly from Gray. Said Mage, steadily, picked the younger boy into his arms. The pink haired boy, now, laid bridle style. His head landing onto Gray's neck in the right-side.

However, before he left the guild hall and went back home, Gray turned to the three woman who made all of this happen.

The three dragon slayers, instantly, made a circle around them, almost protectively. They won't left them hurt their fellow slayer, anymore.

"Erza. You should be a shame of yourself." Gray started. His eyes narrowing and glaring, deeply, at her.

Black lines, suddenly, crept up onto his pale skin, and they instantly knew that he was in his ice devil form. He was ready for any fight, if needed be. He won't let them hurt his burden; who's sleeping in his arms, anymore.

Gray saw said redhead look down at the ground in utter shame. "I'm sorry. Please, forgive my utter foolishness. I won't do it, ever, again." She bowed.

"You're forgiven. Just don't do it, again." He warned. She nodded and left the guild, in shame and sadness.
He then turned towards the two females, left.

However, before Gray could even say anything, Lucy had beaten him towards it.

"Gray! I'm so sorry! I was being completely selfish! I shouldn't have said that to Natsu, just right after you said you were dating! I'm sorry!" She cried, apologized and bowed, as well. And if it wasn't for Gray, who had stopped her from speaking, anymore; she'll just go on and on.

"Enough! You saw your mistakes and you apologized. However, if you ever come near my mate, romantically, then things won't go so easily, Lucy." He said, threatening. The blonde had quickly nodded, terrified, and left the guild hall, as well. Maybe to cry? He didn't know and couldn't care less.

Anyone who has romantic feelings for his young mate, would be looked suspiciously from this day on. He wouldn't take a chance. Especially, towards Lissana, as well.

Now only a very water mage, was left. Seeing this, the three slayers had gotten closer towards Gray and his sleeping burden, protectively.

"Gray-Sa-"

"Juvia." He cut her off. "Look, I'm sorry. You're a nice girl and all. But, I've said it a million times; I don't like you that way. I'm sorry, but I just can't return your feelings. I don't like girls. Please, just understand that." He said. And as he saw Juvia open her mouth to say something about it, he continued onwards.

"You saw what'd happened to Natsu. Once a Dragon Slayer mates with someone they love, the thought alone of that mate cheating or breaking up with them, leads them to their death. You won't selfishly kill Natsu just to have me with you, will you?" He said, threatening and dangerously.

Seeing in the corner of his eyes as the dragon slayers were closing in on him and the fire dragon slayer in his arms, closer. They were basically overing over him, with Wendy, almost, shielding Natsu from Juvia's sight.

But that was completely ignored by the water mage, as she registered what the devil slayer had told her. She let the information sink in and gasped.

"I would never kill a comrade! I'm a Fairy Tail Mage!... And I!... I-I'm so s-sorry. I see, now, just how much you clearly l-love him. I was being so selfish... I'm... I'm so sorry, G-Gray. Please, share my apology to Natsu, once he wakes up." She bowed and straightened.

But when she did, she saw the markings on Gray disappear and a small smile was on Gray's face.

"Thank you, Juvia." He said, and saw her nod warmly to his words and then left the guild, as well.

Gray looked around the guild as the three woman left the guild and saw everyone partying for the couple.

It's saddening to know how their confession about being a couple, had turned so wrong and yet; so right. A deep masculine voice interrupted his thoughts, and he looked besides him.

"You don't have to look guilty about it, they should've known that the two of you didn't like them." Gajeel said. Looking towards the guild doors, with a glare of disappointment and anger.

Another deep masculine voice, was heard besides him. "Especially, Erza. She had no right, in saying all of that. She was being stupid in trying to rip the two of you apart. And after all those annoying years of trying to get the two of you into being "best friends", too." Laxus, said. Looking towards the guild doors, as well. But, with rage and disbelief.

"Yeah... I can't believe they'd almost hurt Natsu, just because they were being selfish for saying all that..." Wendy said, sadly and angrily. She looked to said Mage in Gray's arm's. At her words, the older three looked to the youngest boy.

Dried blood was caked onto Natsu's closed mouth. Some had landed on his scarf and shirt. Although, thankfully, the boy's breathing and complexion was steadily and healthy. However, Gray was still worried over him.

"Hey, Wendy. Can you check on him, just incase everything's alright." The youngest slayer looked towards the worried male and saw the fear and concern in his dark blue eyes.

"Of course!" She simply said, smiling upwards at him. Her hands glowed blue, and she started checking for any internal wounds. After a few minutes of waiting, she found nothing wrongs with Natsu. Wendy stopped her healing and sighed in relief.

"He's healthy! Nothing's wrong, so you shouldn't be worried, anymore!" She declared, happily. The three men sighted; the two older men looked embarrassed as they didn't realize they were holding in their breathes.

"That's good. Well, I don't know about you, but I'm going home. Natsu needs proper rest. And thanks... For trying to protect, Natsu." He said, thankful.

"Na, it was nothing. Just don't let it happen, again." Laxus replied, acting indifferent but they knew he actually cared.

Gajeel smirked, however, "Just get Salamander home, safety, well ya. We don't need anymore problems."

Wendy smiled at this and beamed at Gray, "That means, you're welcome, Gray!" Gray couldn't help but laugh at the bewildered faces the older men shot at the youngest of the quartet.

Gray shook his head and headed to the guild doors. Leaving two older dragons blushing and arguing that they weren't and a giggling hatchling, behind. While ignoring the partying and fighting guild, completely.

As he left the guild hall and headed to their house, Gray couldn't help but to look down at his burden. Natsu slept peacefully in his arms. Small snores, escaping him. Ones that are later to become, unfortunately, louder. But, that didn't stop Gray from loving him.

With a chuckle, Gray looked up and saw they were nearing their house. It was previous Natsu's. But, now it's slightly modified. It was bigger then before and more modernized for Gray's liking.

But, it still held that nature feeling to it, for Natsu's liking. Especially, when they're surrounded by huge tress and the woods. A long river, close by it.
After getting inside their house, with a bit struggle due to his arms being corrupted, Gray entered their home and headed towards the bedroom.

Placing the younger man onto the bed, Gray headed to the bathroom that's inside their room. He got a wet cloth and reentered the bedroom. He carefully cleaned off the blood on his lover. Gray then gently, with some struggle, pulled his lover up and took off Natsu's bloody shirt.

After that, Gray then took off the pinkette's other clothing; leaving him only in his boxers. Gray didn't even have to look down and see that he was in his boxers, as well.

Gray then crawled into bed and pulled the younger boy into his chest; feeling the shorter male snuggle into him. A constant sigh escaping him. Gray smiled, warmly, at him. His pink hair slightly covering his tan face.

Gray pushed it backwards and saw the small smile on that adorable face on his sleeping lover. Getting himself comfortable, Gray soon followed his lover. The lovers, probably, dreaming about each other.
