FAQ
[Why Should You Do the Payment?]
Here is the basic structure I follow while reviewing your stories.
• Read the first five chapters to get the idea of the plot, characters, and uniqueness. I make notes on these points.
• After some time, I read all those chapters once again to get the hold of your writing style and vocabulary choice. I once again make notes over these themes.
• After that, I reread it for the third time to look for any grammatical errors or punctuation mistakes. I once again take notes on the grammar to provide you with proper feedback along with examples from your own story.
That being said, it's clear that I put much effort into reviewing your story so you should put as much effort into reading and commenting on my book.
[What do I receive if I ask a review from you?]
• I will be voting (and occasionally commenting) on the chapters to let you know I'm reading your book.
• I'll be giving you a long review on how to improve, what to improve, what I liked, what disliked, etc.
• If I think your book is worth my time, it will be staying in my library, and I'll be reading it too.
• If I find your book drool-worthy, it will be moved to my reading list 'Hidden Gems of 2020'. Furthermore, it will be on my top priority list of books to read.
[What if I think you're hating on my story?]
If that's the case, politely say thanks for the review and leave the shop.
Why?
Because we reviewers do not know you nor do we have any kind of problem with you. We are just trying to help you, and sometimes our advice may come off as harsh, but it's for the best.
We've received such brutal advice too, but rather than trying to strike a fight with the person who wasted time and dedication in our book, we decided to abide by the advice. That is why we are successful, and you can be too if you take criticism positively.
