Neva Liu opened up a small notebook she had just found on the shelf. She dusted it off and grinned at the pictures inside.

"Ruth! Ruth Bailey Dakin!" she shouted.

"What?! Oh crap!" Ruth Dakin came running into the room and promptly slid into a wall. "Ok, ouch." Neva laughed. 

"You ok there?" she teased the younger mutant. Ruth grumbled.

"Shut up. What'd you need me for anyways?" She got up and dusted her pants off. Neva showed her the book.

"Look what I found!" Ruth widened her eyes.

"Holy shit! Oh my god - my old scrapbook that Charles forced me to make!" Ruth grabbed the book and flipped to a random page. There was polaroids of the X-Men at different times - training, out in the city, in the mansion, and more. The pictures were taken by different people, but Ruth had just collected them all over time. "Woah! So many people wrote on this without me knowing!"

"Look at this one!" Neva laughed. She pointed to one of Raven drinking some soda during training. Ruth laughed also.

"Ooo what about this one?" Ruth pulled out a picture of Neva and Alex that she found awhile ago in a drawer downstairs. Neva smiled and gazed at it while Ruth smirked. "You two are cute."

"Oh really?" Neva pointed to another one. "What about you and Scotty?" She pulled out another one. Ruth grabbed it and stared at the caption.

"What the hell?! Who wrote this?!" she yelled. Neva doubled over in laughter. "Jubilee!" A girl in bright yellow came running into the room. She also ran into the wall.

"OW!" Jubilation Lee got up and rubbed her elbow.

"You guys need to stop running into walls," Neva shook her head. Some more people showed up following Jubilee. Rivera Lee, Scott Summers, and Peter Maximoff all ran into each other, while Kurt Wagner and Ororo Munroe more calmly walked in.

"Why are we all getting hurt?!" Ruth said with exasperation.

"No idea," River groaned. Peter helped her up and Scott went over to stand by Ruth, peering over her shoulder.

"Cool pictures," he commented. The rest of the mutants also looked.

"Look at that dance party we had that one time!" Jubilee pointed out. They all grinned.

"You kids are more crazy than we were," Neva sighed with a smile.

"Sure are!" River chirped. Neva ruffled her hair, and River grumbled.

"Are you guys being nice to Neva?" Alex's voice said from the door. They all looked up and nodded. Neva walked over to him while the teenagers laughed over the different pictures. "We're almost like parents, huh?"

"Sorta. But one of them is your brother and his girlfriend," she said, leaning on the doorway as well. He smiled and kissed her. The memory of when they first met Ruth and almost blew up the whole mansion flashed by her memory, but she pushed it away.

"We'd make good parents."

"Are you sure about that..." They both turned to see the whole room in chaos: Jubilee was creating fireworks from her hands while being chased by Ruth whose hair was on fire, River and Scott were trying to calm them both down, Ororo and Peter watched with grins, and Kurt was just kind of bamfing around the room avoiding the sparks.

"Yeah, I'd think so."

OK SO LIKE BTW THAT IS HALF CONNECTED TO MY OWN STORY (as neva and river are mine eheheheh) BUUUUUUUT this won't actually happen sorry yall ahaha no spoilers but yeah :)))))))
