In contrast to dark covers, light covers have a happy, uplifting mood! They're usually made with bright colours (think pastels, or yellow), although colours aren't what make or break a light cover. If we're thinking in terms of parrots, light covers would be angel parrot - that's just the vibe they give off.

Usually, light covers are in the genres romance or teen fiction! Think strategic placement of font or novel concepts - light covers are a wide category, and the distinction between light and dark is pretty clear (looking at you, goth parrot). Here are some examples!
