Small note: The things that are said in skype are in Dutch, not English, that's why it may sound a little weird.

I received via Instagram someone who just found that paint tool sai (drawing program, only for windows) could also be saved with .psd. She said it could not be in firepaca, I went to see and that was possible (I sent her photos that I made with my mobile phone, what steps I made). Today, someone in Skype group chat asked me a question after I said, "Can you send him to me in path form? Then I'll look forward to it tomorrow and maybe I can help show something that helps XD"

She replied with: "eh okay what shape? Path? What's that?"

Fortunately, Selina, aka AnilesGraphs answered and I'm happy she did because she was clearer than I had been: "I think that's an option if you save it. It's because when you open it you can edit all the layers and edit it. enzo. By Photoshop is called a psd "

The early one did not understand what it was like. I said I wanted to show it a bit, and I did that again, with photos, which steps I followed.

I'll put them down here too! They are made on my MacBook, in gimp. In addition, I have the second image edited i.v.m. privacy. =)

We'll start with the tutorial, pick up Gimp (or read it first) and follow this tutorial!

Step 1:

In explanation: Go to file, then export to.

Step 2:

In explanation: Add after the filename .psd in (remove .png or .jpg or whatever it was first), simply type, if you save it, otherwise, it will png / jpg form :P

And to show that it actually opens in Photoshop:

Now you can forward it by email, someone else can go on with gimp, firealpaca, Krita, paint tool or whatever they use, most open and/or can save/export in .psd form. In some, like firealapca, it's save as, not exporting as. :P
